Original Macross

Lynn Minmei- A talented young singer aboard the Macross. She quickly becomes a super star in the ship. Her Music is the cause for the war to end. Was in love with Hikaru ichijo, a U.N spacy pilot Until the end of Macross. She is a legendary figure, and quite posibly the most popular anime character in history.
Misa Hayase- 2nd in command of the Macross; Misa is a dedicated soldier. A wise person throughout the war. She eventually commands the SDF-2 Megaroad in a last acolonisation attempt. She and Hikaru Ichijo fall in love and leave on the megaroad.
Hikaru Ichijo- Brave pilot of the U.N spacy. He rescued Minmei from Macross city in the first part of macross. Goes on to be sqadron commander in the later part of Macross and on the megaroad.
Max Jenius & Miria Fallyna Jenius- Ace pilot of the UN spacy, Max is originally under Hikaru's command. Miria enters the Macross storyline as a Meltran pilot fighting the Macross crew in the First Space War, but as her rivalry with Ace Pilot Max Jenius intensifies, so does her love for him, until she seeks him out on the Macross, attempting to kill him, but instead marries him. They have the first inter-species marriage of a Human and a Zentraedi, as well as the first children with a mixed bloodline. All in all, they have seven children, the most notable of which are Komillia, their first and an ace pilot, Emiria, who makes an appearance in Macross 7: The Movie, The Galaxy is calling me, and Mylene, the bassist and backup vocal for Fire Bomber. She eventually left the military, and took the position as Mayor of Macross 7's City 7. Max, however, eventually rose to therank of Fleet Captain, and is Fleet Captain of the Macross 7 Colonization fleet. Their love is strained throughout the series, Macross 7, but in the end, they mend things, and have a happy ending.font> |
