Just let me tell you one thing before we get started MA fans.
Alex is not my real name! Though I wish it were it isn't! My name is some weird hungarian name that even my father pronounces wrong some times! As for Kineta, it isn't her name either, as for I am making this without Kineta knowing it, I dare not tell what her name is either even though we are best friends. We do however go by those names....
From the first time I saw Mummies Alive I thought, I HAVE to make up a character that relates to me. So actually I probably was the VERY first person to have made up a Mummies Alive character ever! (well besides dic)
Alex and Kineta are very different from the other characters. We did not intend them to be different but we made them like that. We had never thought of the idea of making another mummy, or even giving it an animal sign but anyways........
I locked my self in my room negliting my homework until the last minute as usual. I was trying to figure out what this character would look like (as all of you who had made up a character) My character was different though. I never thought of another guardian for Rapses but another mate a princess that would have the princesses spirit inside her.
As I worked on what she would look like I thought that mabye she would look like Presley, not totaly but mabye her hair, the bangs like his and have her hair hang down. She would have a jaket like him, an amulet,a white top, and a blue skirt. There I've done it now to name her...... I've always loved the name vicki but it didn't suit her, because I've beem instreated in Egypt for the longest time I thought of Alexander the Great, yea I know he's not Egyptian but he did sweep Cleopatra off her feet. Okay but she can't be named Alexander! she's a she for ra's sake! okay no problem I'll just change the name a little but, there, Alexandria! there! perfect!
Okay so now I told Kineta about this new show that is sooo cool. As usual it took her a while to get into it. She did as you can tell.Now that she was into it, I finally told her I had made up a character. She too thought it would be a good idea.
Okay now for Kineta to make up her character.Well we usually like the easy way out so the next day I brought a bunch of Egyptian books to school, even though we did get into trouble paying more attention to the books then our teacher, we did find something.
Okay so now Kineta was now known as Bastet Kineta wanted to name hercharacter Liz but is that Egyptian to You? well okay I made a deal with her that would be her nick name, and me being myself forgot all about the princesses spirit turned to be Sekhment. Okay that done now the mummies have to protect them there!
Well after a few weeks we slowly started to go against the idea. What really changed our minds is that we saw paws and the curse of Sekhment. We also ammited that it was pretty silly that 4 walking Mummies needed to protect GODDESSES!
Well I went back to me old idea execpt kept the additude of Sekhment.
But Kineta was another thing, I've always had a bigger imagation then her, but she really didn't want to go through any trouble.So I suggested that she be Bastet's daughter, well as you can see we sure stuck to the idea!
I soon started to make my character more powerful, so let's see, Alex is the strongest, she's the smartest, did I leave anything out? Well Kineta knew I had a temper and that sometimes I could bite her head off if she had said something little that she shouldn't have so she kept it too herself.
Well one day while I was at my dads ( I am also the shyest person you'd know) I stayed up in me room, (I was too shy even to talk to my dad!) I brought paper and a couple of stories with me. As I started to draw I began to relize that, what's the point of even having 4 guardians if, Alex could destroy them all. I told Kineta this
Kineta did admit to me that she was thinking the same thing, it took me a while but I finally stopped haveing Alex so strong. Of course now my problem was, that she was now smarter then Rath, well then might as well kick Rath outta there!
No just joking but now I had to cut down on her smartness, really I didn't want my character to be-like-like PRESLEY!, so okay we made Alex a little more understanding to the mummies,and if you think that she's a little too understanding by all means E-mail me!
Okay now that Alex was fine I had to amit that calling Kineta Bastet Jr? Like what an imagation! Okay so we really didn't make up her name but found it in a baby book!, but it really suits her! The name Kineta means Guardian, so hey? We like the name and it means someting!
Now we couldn't have an Alex the princess and Alex the peasent? Okay so for once Kineta made up the name Amera.
From there I practally took over on Kineta's character.
Well we still had to say that 4 mummies couldn't be watching a goddess.
Okay so now I had to change the way Alex looked, Kineta well we never really knew what she looked like. That's it I did a couple of sketches and there that's better! Her hairs now up in a pony tail, she now wears shorts, and the white shirt.
Okay so now we had to know what Kineta was going to look like!
Well after looking through me old sketches (okay,I admit my mom was making me clean up my room!) I put bits and pieces together and volla! a Kineta!
Well now we just fixed the little things like for Alex: she wouldn't really know how to call for help on her amulet cause she never really did.
But whats this? this couldn't be a little thing? Becasue Kineta was a-a half-goddess, she couldn't really sleep in a scarcoughouse cause well she never really died!
But as you read apon our characters you will see the big changes we made.
As for fitting them in! well we are still working on that! but we do have a little stetch that we are still working on!
Phew! if you think that, that was long! try typing all that out! Our characters though we tried to make it more sutialble like to fit it into the 'mummies world' and into Ancient Egypt. I Thank you for putting up with this! all the way to the end.
