okay, so sakura's not recognised as an official member of laruku, and is in fact now a member of another band...by-sexual (oddly enough, their vocalist's tetsu, the ex-vocals of malice mizer). however, i respect sakura...i thought he was damn COOL, and didn't deserve to get kicked out *makes a face*. and, since he was on 4 of laruku's 5 albums so far, he's definitely laruku's drummer in MY eyes, anyway. all right, so there were the bad times...like when he was so out of it he looked like he was sleeping instead of drumming... BUT...let's not dwell on those, shall we? *sweatdrop*.

real name: sakurasawa yasunori (i adopted the sakurasawa out of respect when he left laruku. i also use -sama rather than -chan for the same reason)

in hindsight, i guess it's rather easy to tell that sakura was...errm...a bit 'out of it' at times ^^;; . actually, he got arrested for heroin POSSESION, not use, but...*doesn't know what to think*. anyway...i just watched 'a touch of dune' the other day, and i was so surprised *blink*. sakura looked AWAKE! ^_^ . more than awake...he was actually looking enthusiastic, his drumming was louder (and probably a bit better too, but i'm not a drummer, so i can't really tell), and he SMILED sometimes ^_^ . unfortunately, you can sort chronicle his state of not-quite-there-ness from then on *sigh*. in the heavenly vid he was okay - even ran around the stage with hyde (kawaii!). but by the time true was released...*wince*. he looked so SERENE and expressionless in most of the clips (remember kaze ni kienaide?)...and interviews were just...*aiiee*. i think he wore the sunnies to disguise the fact he was sleeping behind them ^^;; . okay, even though i don't approve of his...errm...involvement with heroin, i still respect sakura. and i miss him from laruku *sigh*. even though yuki's technically a superior drummer, sakura had little cute things that just made laruku...more unique (i'm not saying that yuki's not doing that either, but you know what i mean). sakura was a less hurried sort of drummer than yuki, and he tended to use other percussion a lot more ~~ like tambourines and that little scraper thing that made a cute noise (i have NO idea what it's called). i miss that stuff. i miss sakura *small sad noise*.

i think sakura's changed the least out of all the laruku members. mind you, i haven't seen him for a year...*shrug*. back in dune, he had his hair all tied up, and sort of...um..."pineappled" (you know, looks like the top of a pineapple). in tierra, heavenly and true it's the same length, just straight, shiny and usually down...sometimes in a ponytail (kakkoii!). clothes-wise, nothing's changed either. black, black and...black. usually leather and boots ^_^ . hm...the long black hair, black clothes, general facial structure...actually, sakura has more than a passing resemblance to brandon lee *smile*.
