Grendizer was and is still huge in Kuwait (where I'm from) and in the whole middle east area. Grendizer was a big success also in Europe, especialy in France where it is called Goldorak, and in Italy where it's called Goldrake. Also, Grendizer made it to the U.S. where it was a part of the Force Five TV package, but most of the Force Five shows were changed a little, and the names and places are different. In the U.S. only the first 24 episodes of Grendizer were shown , and the same applies with Mazinger Z. The Thing That I really hate, is that Grendizer didn't get it's complete and fare share of the spotlight. Another thing that I would love to see happen, is for Grendizer to make a new appearence in new animes with new story lines. Also, I wish and dream of some Grendizer video games, and I'm sure that every anime fan would like that too.

I found this sketch of the new Grendizer, you can see the new pilot in the front and Duke Fleed and Maria behind him. The new Grendizer looks like the two Mazingers. Sadly, I have not found any more things on this sketch all over the net.
