Nephrite let the girl go and watchd the students run.
He then followed suit and headed out of the building.
*Maybe this killer would be a good addition to the
Dark Kingdom* he thought.
Lucas ran up beside Mark and Jay. "This way!" he
called. "I thought I heard a scream down this
hallway."
Jay set off after Lucas. He hoped they could find some
more weapons lying around, or they would
have to henshin. If the killer had a sword, as he was
sure the newspaper had mentioned he had, his
own little knife may not be good if it came to hand to
hand fighting. He'd have to throw it or some such
thing.
Mark followed Lucas, silent and serioius. "I hope we
don't need a distraction to get around this idiot..."
he muttered.
Finally crunching a hand down on her phone, Jakurin
curled up into the fetal position, back to the
students who were crying and pressed the Talk button.
"Kami, help me!" she whispered into the
phone, her confidence gone in light of the attack in
the classes next to the gymnasium. A shaking voice
fell silent before the fool broke down, sobbing
herself.
"NO! Don't go there! It's not your job, let the police
do it! Don---!!" But they had already gone. Misa
was a little angry. *They shouldn't have
gone, I have a bad feeling aobut this.*
She looked at the cell phone in her hand. *I think i
should call the police now... those guys are not safe
in there.*
Suddenly three police cars came screeching to a halt
outside the front of the school. The police officers
came out and went into the building. Two stayed
outside for cover.
The ones that went inside looked
around and noticed the death and destruction that
followed it. They ran towards the gym where the
bodies of several students and teachers. There guns
were drawn and ready. When the opened the
doors of the gym that when all hell broke lose. The
sound of gun fire could be heard echoing within the
gym and the halls. Soon the gun fire stopped and the
air was dead with silence.
"Quite impressive," an even voice came from one of the
back entrances as the black form of the
Guardian entered the gym, "For a killer about to meet
his end."
Mark stopped dead in his tracks as he heard the
gunfire and looked to the gym, which was down the
hallway to the right of them. "The shit just hit the
fan."
He sprinted down the hall, and stopped at the
door, looking in to see the shadowed killer being
confronted by..."Is that The Guardian?" He turned to
Lucas and Jay and shook his head. "I can't tell from
here. If so, do we help?" *It keeps getting worse,
Lord...what do we do?*
Jay nodded at the figure. "Thats Guardian all right,
or someone who looks damn near identical. I
really feel quite sorry for our murdering little
friend now...or not. But Guardian has never exactly
gone
easy on such people..."
Lucas nodded. "I say we stay behind and wait and see.
It wouldn't be right for use to interfer with the
police AND the Guardian." he suggested.
Michiru looked up at the TV when a news flash
appeared. "The murderer has been spotted at Jubann
High School. Police say they have the situation
undercontrol, but a few students are still unaccounted
for." the reporter said.
"Murderer at the School!" Michiru cried. ~Is everyone
alright?~ Michiru asked grabbing her communicator off
the night stand.
Mark nodded. "Sounds good. But if it remotely gets any
worse, I'm going in.
Someone has to make a real attempt at stopping
this insanity." *What am I saying?!?! Duck and
run...what happened to
self-preservation?*
In the gym the killer was knelt down in front of the
bodies of the police
that tried to take him out. The lights in the gym were
dim
but enought light was on to see but poorly. As the
killer rose to his feet a
sword was in one hand. With a quick slice in one
direction he throw the blood off his sword. Suddenly
the lights came to life
in the gym. Revealing everything. Several bodies of
students and teachers littered the floor. There blood
mixing and collecting
in certain places. Standing in the middle of all this
death was. Eyes glowing red and blood covered the
outfit he was wearing was,
The Benefactor.
Jay's eyes went wide. "Oh my God, you must be joking.
The Benefactor? It
just got a lot worse." *This can not be
happening...what the hell is going on. I thought he
was a good guy!*
He
stepped into the hall. "Are you really the
Benefactor?
Or a youma or what?"
Jonas looked at the figure from behind Jay, and
suddenly wished he was
several feet smaller. "I don't believe it, this is
bad
news."
Jakurin fumbled around in her pocket and grasped
the communicator
tightly. ~G-guys!! I'm injured very badly!!~ she
shrieked down the line.
~Some guy just came in and wasted the classroom!!
We're close to... GOD, my
face feels broken!!~ she sobbed. ~We...we're close to
the gym, but I'm
afraid to get up off the floor. I don't know if he's
still in here!!~ she
whimpered as students around still screamed, shouted,
and cried.
~Somebody @&*#&@* HELP ME!!!~ she screamed into
everyone's mind before
letting the communicator go.
Mark looked over at Jay. "Don....damnit, Jay!" He
cursed and turned to
Lucas. "I don't know much about the Benefactor, but I
can say that this is
ultimately weird."
He shrugged. "I suppose we'd
better follow gopher boy to
make sure he doesn't get himself killed." And walked
in beside Jay.
"Idiot." he whispered. "This is crazy as is...why
add to it?" *'Coz it's
fun...you know why..* He thought to himself.
The Benefactor stood there. His red eyes focused on
Guardian. Then his eyes
went to the door that sudeenly opened. He noticed
several more people. When
Jay asked him if he was the Benefactor or a youma he
started to laugh. "A
youma? Do I look like one?" he said.
He then looked
around the room. Talking
in the sight if blood that surround him. "I feel the
power in my own blood,"
he said. "Let the blood flow once again!"
*JAKU!!!* Misa's face went rigid, her whole body
paralizing. ~What are you doing there??? GOD! He can
kill you!~
It was then when she realized that she couldn't just
wait outside. She may be the worst of fighters, but
she was the best at sneaking. So she could very well
sneak in and save Jakurin, and why not, other
students. After all, her biggest desire was to be able
to protect every living creature in the world. This
was a good opportunity to prove she could, at least,
help.
~Tell me exactly where you are, I'm going for you.~
Misa was determined, she didn't fear or hesitate
anymore. Her friends' lives was more importnat then
her own. She walked towards the building, silently,
hiding from the police. She passed the main entrance
and reached the halls, hiding behind the lockers.
~Where are you??~
Michiru's heart almost stopped. ~Jaku! Hold on,
please just hold on!~ she sent. "Damn it when I said
I wanted company I didn't mean Preminate Company!" she
almost shouted.
Lucas stood perfectly still. His mind raced with
situations that could come of this. "Someone needs to
go help Jakurin. He's focused on the Guardian right
now, so one of us going won't be that much of a
problem, even though dividing forces isn't the
smartest move, neither is lossing one of our allies to
this." he said slowly. "Any volunteers, or does
someone really want this guy more than the Guardian?
Speak now. I don't think there is any of us that are
more powerful than the next so the decission is up to
you."
Nephrite floated near the rafters. "The Benefactor.
A very interesting turn of events indeed." he muttered
with a smile.
Rikko had lost Dura and picked his sword up from where
he hid it near
the
school. He decided a while ago that taking a claymore
to school
wouldn't be
a hot idea, but he knew that with what had been going
on, that nowhere
was
safe for him to go unarmed.
*Damn, not even the
schools are safe.
Humph,
sounds just like back home.* he thought.
He quickly
jumped the fence
into
the school yard when he heard Jakurin's call. He took
his communicator
and
said, ~Don't worry, Misa. I'm on my way in the school
and I'm armed.
I'll
help you get Jakurin out. And in the mean time, WHAT
IS GOING ON?~
~Be careful! There's a serial killer in there. He has
killed many
students
already, ~ Misa sent out with horror. The mere thought
of all those
victims
made her shrug.
~I'm looking for Jakurin, but I can't
find her, she
must be
hiding somewhere. If you come, WATCH OUT! He can be
anywhere.~
Without a sound, she kept making her way inside the
building, but it
was
like looking in the dark.
~Jaku, tell me where you are
so I can reach
you.
Don't worry, I'll protect you. Please don't be
afraid. Tell me where
you
are,~ she sent in a motherly tone.
The Benefactor stabbed his sword into the ground.
Where the blood was
collecting. He placed his right hand on the handle and
started to say
some
old spell from time forgotten. Suddenly the pools of
blood started to
bubble. Slowly raising out of the pools were creatures
made of blood.
Some
even took flight. The monsters looked at there new
master. "Attack," he
said. The monster screamed and started to go towards
the Guardian and
the
Sailors and Knights. The ones that took flight noticed
something above.
Roaring the started at the Dark Kingdom General.
Michiru's eyes clouded with tears. *Guys...I want to
help. How can I help?* she thoguht to herself. She
slammed her fists into the bedding. *Why did this
happen now!*
Lucas listened to the communications for a moment.
~Good let Misa & Rikko take care of Jakurin. We're with the
killer now so we'll try and keep him busy...~ he said,
failing to meantion the monsters on purpose. No need
to worry the others..yet.
Lucas tightened a fist and silently willed his
transformation. Within seconds the Thunderbolt Knight
stood in his place.
Nephrite watched the creatures soming towards him.
"what the hell!?" he cried and dodged out of their
attack range. "Why is he attacking me and the senshi.
This makes no sense."
Only managing to string together some sporadic directions, Jakurin sent over the comm-link where the class was, glad that even Rikko with his gigantic Claymore had decided to go to school as well. ~G-Guys, be careful!! HE's got a ... oh, Kami-sama! I just want to curl under a rock and die!!!~
Guardian simply pushed one of the creatures to the side as he made his advance. Things were simply too familiar to something of the past that he wasn't liking. The Senshi could handle the blood monsters on their own.
He stopped a few feet from the Senshi's Benefactor, his voice remaining calm, "I knew I was right about you. You're nothing but evil out to use the brave souls of the Senshi."
The Benefactor took hold of his sword and pulled it from the wooden floor. "Use? I am not using anyone," hissed the Benefactor. "All I want in this world is to see the blood flow on streets once again. To hear the screams and suffering of men and women and watch as there life essence is taken away from them, spilling the crimson liquid that flows through the vains of all living things," he said with a sick grin on his face. His eyes started to glow even more as he spoke.
Guardian rested his hand on his blade and drew it from its shealth, "No longer. This curse will hopefully end your curse's power."
"Jupiter Harvest Moon Unlock!!" shouted Sister Noshiko under the shade of the park trees.
"IronStorm Make-Up!" she commanded of the locket transformation rosary as the familiar beads swung around her body.
In a flash, Sailor IronStorm was running as hard as she could to Juuban High. The sounds and cries of the fool (although the girl was annoying) rang fear in her ears. None of the senshi had enough experience, and with the thought of The Benefactor passed down to her mind, Makotono Noshiko knew there would been serious trouble this time. Perhaps even worse than the traumatic injuries of Kaioh Michiru...
All Hell is breaking loose! Follow through or escape?
