Blake hotly denied any rumour about the two dating when the fire alarm rang. He cursed and said, "Thanks, but with this siren wailing, it'll send everyone out in a few moments. I'll just wait for her then. Ja ne," he finished with a sour look on his face. He turned to go.
Jakurin had changed into her wrap and pants, wringing out her tights on the roof. Not a roof was any better than the ground, but this was a jap-anime type game, and people are always on the roof doing _something_! "Jakurin no baka," she scolded herself. "Why don't you just call a press conference if you're going to blab to the whole world that you're a--" The fire alarm set her jumping into the air and grabbing onto the flagpole for dear life. Her breath regulated as she noticed that some after school sports teams and assorted others (inclding drama) were making their way out. Sliding down the pole, she threw her wrap tighter around her shoulders and listened quietly.
"Not if I have anything to say about it," Kunzite growled, saying it mentally as well so the others could hear. "We're going to talk, one way or another. Since you don't want the easy way, Blake, we'll do it the hard way." He snagged the boy's arm with one hand and an icy chill spread from that contact. "It'll be more quieter on the roof for our talk, so hang on." The chill spread and in the confusion of students leaving, no one noticed the two disappearing then reappearing on the roof.
Jakurin put a hand over her mouth and ducked behind the school's rather large air vent. She spread her body flat behind it, and very slowly peeked out. His back was to her, but she could see it was Kitsune, the teacher who shared her last name. She kinda thought he was cute, (although she was more prone to drool over his top student, Zachary) until he materialized with someone onto the roof. That someone was Blake Ketsumi. ~What's going on...~ she thought, her face showing the look of annoyance...well, annoyance if you had to slam your body onto the cold concrete roof. Blake on the other hand had tried to shake his teacher off, then froze for a second as his vision was lost, then replaced with the sun setting. It took a second to realize a bunch of things. One, they were on the roof. Two, teacher usually didn't TELEPORT their students!! "Hey!! What gives?!" he said angrily, throwing Kitsune's arm off of him and backing up a few steps. He held a defensive stance. "What the heck are you?! An alien!?"
A whirling of cherry blossoms filled the air behind Blake as Sanjouin Zachery appeared. Standing silently as the last of the fragrant blossoms floated to the rooftop, the too pretty male folded his arms over his chest. Not noticing Jakurin, his green gaze was on Blake instead, crimson gold lashes fluttering sweetly up at the boy. "You're so kawaii. Can I keep him as a toy? Pleeeease?"
"Once we get what we're looking for," Kunzite replied with a less frosty smile to Zoisite. Raising a hand to briefly caress his soft skin, Kunzite turned back to Blake. "What gives is that I wish a word with you about your actions, senshi friend. It seems so odd that you would disappear with the others unless you happen to be one as well." Under his mental command, several thick wires snaked across the roof to wrap around the young man and hold him fast. "And no I am not an alien, thoguh you may wish for me to be one before I get done." ~Nephrite, where are you?~
Nephrite had gone up to the roof to watch for Jarukin from above..but dind't need to go any furthur. ~The roof..I found a little mouse..~ he replied. "Young lady, don't you think you should be on the ground?" he asked stepping forward.
Jeremy stayed silently in the shadows and watched as the trio left, and then vanished. His mind raced, *Ever since the Senshi vanished things have been happening to fast for any sort of control. All I have now is instinct to protect them all, and even I don't like the odds I'll face above.* He sunk back deep into the shadows where he had been hiding since the disappearances and whispered, "Imperium Power." Suddenly Jeremy Satterlee stood no more, instead there was only the Guardian who turned and headed for the roof, with the alarm ringing he could locate more Senshi that way, or so he had hoped until he arrived. From the way things looked at least two of the Generals were there and were interrogating a student. Guardian simply fell back into the shadows to watch for the moment.
"What the...?!" Blake had no time to react as wires traveled up and down his body. He was stuck fast, though he pulled against it with all his might. "Senshi?!" he shouted, then repeated a string of curses. "Do I LOOK like a freaking weirdo who prances around in a short skirt!! They're the ones who are responsible for the hell in this city! They brought you with them!!" he shouted, his body constricted as he stated his own personal truth. Dunican was coming out of the side door when he heard someone shout. Looking towards the roof he noticed Blake with two of the Generals. *Oh great!* he thought and ducked behind a shed and transformed. Coming out he started to walk over to the ladder that was near by to go to the roof.
Nephrite moved closer to Jarukin. "What's the matter, didn't you hear my question?" he asked. "What are you doing up here?"
Michiru stepped out of the school and stood perfectly still. She had to find Darien. Ahe could only fear the worst had happened.
Jakurin flipped onto her back, and moved backwards a bit on her rear end. Her head and backside hit the heater, and she knew she was trapped. This... this was the same general she had met when she first turned into Jurei-Jurei... that was so long ago. "Would you believe trying to dry out?" she whispered. "And to be honest, that floating thing is...kinda cool, in an evil way."
Meanwhile, on the other side of the roof, Zachary was having fun torturing poor Blake, by whispering in his ear all the fun they could have together. "Get away, I'm not like that!!" said Blake, trying to turn any part of his body away. "What the hell do you want from me?" "Oh, don't be such a silly boy," said Zachary, batting his long lashes, running a slender white hand lightly around Blake's lips. "What else could we want you for?" Blake was getting more grossed out by the second, and finally spat at him in desperation. Zachary jumped back with a disgusted cry. "My shirt!! I had to use Neffy's card to pay for that!" he shouted, backing up and hugging Kitsune. "Kill him a lot."
Kunzite sighed lightly and gave Zoisite a squeeze before letting him go. "First thing is first," he reminded him. "First we interigate him, then we kill him." Turning to Blake, he continued, "We were discusing the senshi. You are one of them, or rather, one of the knights trying to help them. We know you are one, so no trying to wiggle your way out of it. Tell us what you know, and we'll make it easy on you. Remain silent, and I'll let my little rat have his fun with you. Who know? Maybe you'll even live after that."
Blake gave them both a hard, yet blank stare. "Fine, aliens. You wanna kill me, then kill me. But I ain't gonna plead guilty to a crime I haven't any clue on or any part of. I was feeling sort of suicidal today, anyway. But at least I'll be able to go out in a blaze of glory, maybe with some epic scale property damage and a zero body count! Yeah! That would work!" said Blake, beginning to go off in a tirade with himself about how life sucked in general.
Zoisite blinked his jade green eyes in disbelief, and turned his head slightly to his superior. "Ano..." he whispered, "are you certain we have a Knight? He seems off his nut, and all the Knights in one way or another have it all together. On the other hand, if he isn't, how could we use him as bait for any senshi??"
Guardian had seen enough. He let a single blue rose fly towards Kunzite and Zoisite and then let another fly at Nephrite before stepping from the shadows, speaking calmly, "If you are looking for a fight I suggest you challenge me, a couple of children."
Nephrite snarled at the rose. ~My cover's blown, I'm taking the girl for a short brainwashing. Can't have her talking to the Senshi.~ he sent to Zoisite and Kunzite. He leshed out Dark Power to surround Jarukin.
Jakurin gasped, as her body suddenly stiffened. With no control to run, move, or even to sneeze, she stared hard at the man she thought she knew, a Dark Kingdom general.
Blake on the other hand paused as the roses caught the duo off-guard. The glint in his eyes flickered as he just continue his self-destructive discourse.
Zoisite knew enough about roses to dodge the objects and rush the attacker. He instantly sprung into the air, the aerial ballet of cherry blossoms swirling around his body as the familiar dark grey uniform and black boots appeared. Forming a large fireball, he aimed it over his head. The sun glittered off, sending an iridescent light over his crimson blonde hair, giving it the look of a halo...or a demon. "Back off, Mr. BlueBeard," he said with a smirk, "or I might have to burn a fellow citizen at the stake..."
Before Zoisite could even finish talking Guardian was in the air, propelled by his leg muscles and his blade out and ready to slice at the youngest General. He never made a sound as the blade swung at its target, talking could at times like this be a weakness.
A loud scream echoed down to the school's parking lot, and the few remaining people near wondered if there was truly a fire, and that some poor lost soul was trapped inside. Zoisite's body hit the ground with a sickening crunch as pink droplets splattered the concrete. It was his right arm that was supporting the massive geyser that was rushing out from his veins, through his uniform, and creating a small puddle underneath. Zoisite gazed weakly back up at the roof he had just fallen from. ~Kunzite...maybe I should have looked before I leapt...~ With that last thought, the sakura's eyelids lowered, and he knew no more.
"Zoi," Kunzite muttered, looking at the form of his beloved. He barely flinched as the Guardian's rose grazed his cheek. Kunzite was the coldest general of the Dark Kingdom, the unmoving unbreakable one, the "Ice" King until he met a young general that melted a little of the ice surrounding him. With a flick of his fingers, he teleported Zoisite to the safety of the nightclub that was Kunzite's earthy stronghold. Then with another flick of his fingers, black energy shot through the wires holding Blake, keeping the blast just under killing force with sheer willpower. Then with a sneer, he floated up, his form surrounded by icy dust as he morphed from the teacher Kitsune to Kunzite. "With pleasure, Guardian," Kunzite replied.
Guardian landed and faced Kunzite his sword held at his side, pink blood dripping from its blade. He kept his mind calm and clear, it was all he could do. He breathed deeply gathering all of his wits and willpower. He knew Kunzite well, had fought with him during the Silver Millenium and against him after Beryl turned him and the rest of the Endymion's advisors. Of all the Generals he was the most deadly and the most cunning. Guardian almost laughed at the irony, they were both strong-willed, skilled, and confident in battle. He had heard youma say that Kunzite was the "Ice" King and he knew it was true. Of all the Dark Kingdom Generals Kunzite was the most worthy to face in one on one combat, but he knew better than to expect that. Nephrite or one of the Dark Kingdom Lieutenants, or even youma would most likely interfere and he knew he had to be prepared. He glanced towards Blake briefly and let a rose sail for the wires that held him before returing his attention to Kunzite.
A faint breeze tugged a few silvery strands of hair from their place, snagging on the large pin holding Kunzite's cape in place. Folding his arms across his chest, his weapons appeared in his grasp, the curved weapons glowing slightly even in the sun. Remaining still, he waited for his opponet's first move, the loss of Blake of minor importance compared to bringing down the senshi's guardian.
Blake was almost short of electrocuted as he fell to his knees. "*Ai chu-wa-wa, what a shot...*" he mumbled in English, coughing a few times. With that, he crawled away and peeked over the side. The Dark Kingdom General...Sanjouin Zachary, the fairy. Who would have thought that frail little guy was one of the dark suits that were responsible for the serious ass-kicking around here? Trying to aim it right, Blake rolled off and landed hard in the shrubs. Now more alert, he made his way back off the steps, and saw what people were pointing to. "What the--?!" On the other side of the school, there was yet another dark suit... just chilling in the air, as casual as you please. "This doesn't look good," muttered Blake, as he looked for a place to become Illusional Knight. "But I guess we're down to two bad guys," he added to himself, assuming the freak was dead.
Guardian kept his breath calm and waited, the heat of the sun shining above and his black clothing was warm and before long he'd start to sweat from the heat alone. He kept his eye locked on Kunzite's body, knowing the General couldn't see anything in the black void formed by his hood. His body never fidgetted as he held his sword and silently he cursed. Kunzite was waiting for him to make the first move while he was waiting for Kunzite to do the same, *It's frightening how alike we think. For both of us this battle is one of great importance. If I win I show the Dark Kingdom I can take on their greatest general single-handed; if he wins he shows he can defeat me, one of the Dark Kingdom's most skilled adversary. This is just grand.* Guardian waited, he could play this game for hours if he wanted and had done so before. Although if he waited hours the chance of more innocents becoming involved increased...or of the Senshi intervening. Guardian simply breathed and kept his focus keeping all of his senses open for a surprise from Kunzite.
Meanwhile trying to climb UP the walls, Illusional Knight was once again getting pissed. He stood there staring up at the brunette general, and wondered briefly if they had a cute red-head to match the group. Realizing that THAT could be a guy as well, Illusionary Knight super-deformed and gagged before attempting to scale the wall again. It seemed to him that the dark suit was just floating, staring at something only he could see.
Jakurin could feel herself being drained, but couldn't even cry out. Her eyes were forced to be locked with Nephrite's.
Nephrite released his hold on Jakurin and let her fall to the ground. ~I'm finished with the girl. Need a hand?~ he asked Kunzite.
Michiru continued to look for Darien. "He must have went home." she muttered. "FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!!!" someone shouted far away. "Fight?" she muttered and went to see what was going on.
~Take care of that silly human Blake,~ Kunzite replied evenly, not moving save for a few loose strands of hair. ~He was freed and should be showing up as one of those Knights. Just look for one trying to come to the rescue and rearrange his memories too. He knows about our identites. I can handle Guardian myself for a while.~
Jakurin just laid there in a daze, remembering only that she had been on the roof to dry her clothes...then what? What was happening? Why was she so tired? And as if on cue, Illusional very slowly peeked over the rim of the roof, hidden by some tree branches, wondering what in the hell was going on, and why three Dark Kingdom generals would want to invade the school.
Michiur turned the corner to see Kunzite and the Guardian in a stand off. "not good." she whispered and walked back into the building. "Guardian might need a hand for once." she muttered looking for a good place to transform.
Nephrite nodded to himself. ~Alright..I'm on it~ he sent back. "Oh little boy, come out come out whereever youare." he taunted.
"Oh shyt, he's looking for me!" squeaked Illusional Knight, as he pulled out his bauble. "Well, now is a good of a time to use this." Building up energy in his hands, he pulled one back, and whispering "Vivid Dreams!" he shot a blast at Nephrite.
Nephrite jumped at the last second dodging the attack. "There you are!" he cried sending a bolt of energy at the tree tops.
Venus Knight looked around from the ladder. He noticed two of the Generals were gone and one was still there. "Oh well," said Venus Knight as he went up the rest of the way and jumped onto the roof. Throwing his fist back the knight yelled, "Sonic Light Punch!" Throwing the attack at the only General on the roof.
In a matter of seconds Guardian let a blue rose fly from his hand and soar into Venus Knight's attack to intercept it before it reached Kunzite. Without turing his head his voice spoke loud, crisp, and clear towards the young knight, "This battle is between Kunzite and myself. Stay out of it." Guardian's body remained readied for battle as he kept his focus, how long could Kunzite last at the waiting game was all he could wonder. He wasn't eager to make the first move remembering previous fights with the man.
The Venus Knight looked over at Guardian. Venus Knight wasen't very happy that he had did that. The Venus Knight then went along the roof and noticed Nephrite was attacking someone. Pulling his fist back once again he yelled, "Sonic Light Punch!" Letting his attack let lose at Nephrite.
"*Oh crap!*" Illusional Knight launched himself out of the tree before it became a pile of dead wood. Hitting the ground in a roll, he groaned at the thought that he'd have to climb back up again to get Jakurin.
Nephrite flet the punch in his side. He fell to the ground, smoke steaming off his body. ~Kunzite, I'm hit and out numbered.~ He sent. "You'll pay for that Senshi!" he cried, his eyes turning a green for a breif moment.
Michiru stopped as she rounded the corner. "Oh no, there's an attack." she said. *And I can't transform.* she stood and watched, mentally cheering for her team.
Shaking his head, Illusionary Knight began his ascent and saw poor Jakurin just lying there. "Jaku-baka," he said sadly. "What did he do to you??" Trying to cover himself, he made his way behind Nephrite to his buddy from school... his un-known illusional Twin. "Come on, Jaku-chan," he sighed to himself, pulling the girl up close to his body, and backing up carefully as not to be seen.
Nephrite smiled at the ball of energy in his hands. He then turned and teleported away from the school. He had done his job, gotten the energy he needed, and even made it so the Senshi would now be helping him in his quest. Quest to reunite the Silver Crystal. And when that happened, he could take it for himself and then rule the Dark Kingdom.
"Jakurin? Jaku-chan?" said Blake softly, trying to wake her near the trunk of the trees. The lemon blonde hair was wet and limp, but she did stir as he put his hand on her cheek. "Jakurin?" She blinked a few times, then gasped, sitting straight up. "What a nightmare..." "What? What happened??" asked Blake, throwing his jacket over her wasted costume. "I... I..." she blinked again, confused. "I don't remember. I remember wringing out my clothes on the roof -" "Howja get wet in the first place, Jaku-baka?" laughed Blake. Remembering at least THAT much, Jakurin stood up and flipped off his jacket. "Err, doesn't matter. Come on, help me find a replacement for tonight!" Blake sighed, standing himself. "We still have all that play crap we gotta memorize..." "You'll make such a kawaii Captain Hook," she cooed, pinching Blake's nose and shaking it playfully. "Shut up about the tights," griped Blake, figuring he find out Jakurin's secret sooner or later. With that, the two walked back into the school, both wondering what the other had to hide.
Kunzite snickered at the Guardian. "We shall have our time to fight at a later date. This is not the time nor the place for such foolishness. But I will be expecting this to take place again in the near future." he said and vanished before the Guaridan's eyes.
The Guardian cursed under his breath as he put away his sword. "Til then Kunzite, I'll be waiting." he muttered and left the roof with one leap.
