About the Jet

        All right, what is it with Jet, already?  The initial letters of my name are J.E.T. Simple, right?  Besides, there are about 10 million John's in the United States, and only one Jet -- Me!

       Humans are the most resourceful species on this planet, and yet many of us get locked into one job, that we often hate, for our entire life. I've done a lot of different things in my life, and to be honest, I intend to try many more in the years ahead. Here's a list of some things I do and have done:

• Sword fighting: Broadsword and shield
• Fencing: Rapier
• Blacksmithing
• Computer Programming: C++, Pascal,
  ForTran, COBOL,
  Basic, IBM Assembler, HTML, JavaScript, Et Al.
• Immigration Inspector
• Warehouse Worker
• Bookseller
• Web Page Designer
• Graphics Designer
  Computer Photo Editing

        That's not quite complete.  I've studied many more things, and just dabbled in others.  And, I'm not done there!  I'm presently studying Java as an adjunct to my web page work.  I speak some Spanish and German, and I'm working on the Japanese language (not hard to pronounce, but the verbs and writing...!) and studying Japanese culture and history.
