(cue theme song)
Drinking sake by moonlight
Fighting Ginny by daylight
Never admitting when Joketsu's right
He is called Sailor Tenrou
He will never forget lunch again
He will beg for forgiveness in the end
And need psychotherapy on the other hand
He will be laughed at by...
...Saitou Hajime (ahou)
...Seta Ginny-san (YOU JERK!)
...Tenshou Joketsu-san (you sure screwed the pooch THIS time...ha ha ha!)
...and the Kagetai (Wa ha ha ha ha!!!)
Dressing in vinyl
All so new to him
He is called Sailor Tenrou
Drinking sake by moonlight
Fighting Ginny by daylight
Never admitting when Joketsu's right
He is called Sailor Tenrou
He is called Sailor Tenrou
He is called...Sailor Tenrou! (high pitched, girly scream in the distance)
(end theme song)
Tenrou's scream trailed off in volume as he ran out of air. Finally, he stopped, took a deep breath, and screamed again. His voice dashed madly up the octaves until he was going at full high, girly pitch.
"Ginny-san...he's already screaming, and he doesn't even know what the assignment is. Kind of makes me think I should feel sorry for him." Joketsu glanced at Ginny, then grinned. "Nah."
Finally, Tenrou ran out of air a second time.
"Are you quite done?" The black cat inquired, sounding a bit cross. When Tenrou didn't say anything, she continued "Good. You've been given to me for the next week by Saitou-san, and screaming isn't going to do you any good. I suggest you just take your punishment like a man." The tip of the cat's tail twitched with some internal amusement. "While you still can."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Tenrou looked at the cat. "I can't believe I'm talking to a cat."
"Don't be rude. It'll only make things harder for you." The cat looked at Saitou. "If you don't have any further instructions, I'll be taking him with me now. Oh....and I did what you asked and left a communicator with you...so the two young ladies can watch."
Joketsu smirked. The corner of Ginny's mouth twitched slightly.
"Good. Feel free to begin Tenrou's punishment as soon as possible." Saitou inclined his head.
"Thank you, Saitou-san. I'll be back in a week."
There was a flash, and the space where Tenrou and the cat had been was empty.
Tenrou blinked with confusion as he appeared in a strange room, filled with all sorts of objects he had never seen. Seven young women, wearing western skirts that were scandoulously short, two small girls, and a young man were arranged on the furniture in the room, watching him.
"Mina-san, I'm back with the replacement!" The cat jumped off his shoulder.
The young man looked up, his short blonde hair falling over one eye. "I hope there's more to him than meets the eye. I can't really see him taking the place of three."
The young woman next to him, her hair a strange shade of aquamarine, chimed in. "And wouldn't it have been better to find a woman? I mean, the Starlights did a good job, but they had a lot of practice."
Tenrou blinked owlishly. "Excuse me, could you tell me what the heck I'm going to be doing?" He felt a small lump of dread lodge in his throat.
They all ignored him. A young woman with strange short blue hair piped in. "I don't think there's much we can do about it. This is the best we have, so we'll have to make due. My computer can calculate what's the best way to fit him in."
"Oh, Ami-chan...you think your computer can do anything!" A blonde young woman laughed. The girl with the blue hair blushed.
"He looks just like my old byfriend..." One of the young woman, a tall brunette, commented.
"Ano..." Tenrou glanced around. "Please, what am I supposed to be doing?"
Someone bounced up in front of him, another blonde, her hair style rather strange looking. "Oh, we've all been so rude! I'm so sorry!" She handed him a small pen-shaped object. "My name is Tsukino Usagi, and these are all my friends. Well...almost all of them. Three of them are sick with the flu, so you have to take their place until they're better." She turned away as Tenrou made some confused noises, gesturing at the object she had given him. "We don't have any choice, guys, so let's give a warm welcome to our newest Sailor Senshi, Sailor Tenrou!"
The silence was deafening.
