On 21 March 2004, we woke early and make our way to Eldora Ski Resort and took some pictures on the way there. The road was in between the rocky mountains and the drive up is very nice and scenic.

At Eldora, we join the First Timer Ski Package for USD65 per person. I rented the full clothing of waterproof jacket and pants, but they did not have the correct size for me. Anyhow, as it is spring, the padded jacket was too hot and I was sweating when learning to ski on the smallest slope on the mountain.

My feet, ankles and shin are hurting like hell and its horrible to walk with the ski boots on.

After skiing, we pass by small town of Nederland, had ice cream at the local bookstore/ice cream parlor, to relax and rest our sore ankles. It is very cosy inside the shop!

On the way back, we stopped at several locations to take some pictures. Below is the beautiful frozen lake at Nederland.
