I took this picture outside the hotel while waiting for Liang to pick me up for dinner.
This is another picture taken on another day when the sun is going to set.
this picture is taken outside Mount Fuji Japanese Restaurant.
this picture is also taken outside Mount Fuji.
Liang busy munching peanuts in Texas Roadhouse where they serve his favorite steak.
Whereas I am fooling around with the small pail of peanuts they give us.
This picture is taken at the Denver Coliseum where the March Pow Wow event is held. The Indians were at a dancing competition. You can check out the website here. It got kinda boring after a while as we were not given programmes even after we paid USD$6 per adult for entry. We have not idea what is going on and can not really make out what the compere was saying at some point and there are lots of long pauses. We had to buy the programmes so we chose not to. Not to mentioned that food and drinks inside is really expensive. But we got a good idea of the Indian cultures as there are LOTS of stores inside the coliseum selling handicrafts at high prices. Perhaps they are handcrafted by real indians not the commercial mass-produced items available in souvenir shops at half the price.
Now, this chipmunk is really cute. We saw it at the Denver Zoo, just right under my feet and people were fighting to feed nuts to it. I managed to take this picture before it ran away. =)
These pictures are taken at Castle Rock. The rock that looks vaguely like a
castle is the reason why this place is called Castle Rock. The sunset is simply
AWESOME!
