On 22 March 2004, we took a long leisurely drive to Steamboat Springs at about 11am. The drive from Fort Collins to Steamboat Springs was approximately 4 .5 hours, partly due to the long and windy road in the first part of the long drive in-between the mountains, the various stops to look at the absolutely breathtaking scenery. The 2nd part of the journey passes through desert looking pastures which passes by the small ,very quiet, sleepy town of Walden (no pics). The third part of the journey takes us through snow filled mountain tops and passes a posh looking mountain top resort before reaching the town of Steamboat Springs. No pictures of the town, sorry... forgotten to take some

we stopped at various locations for picture taking and taking a break from the long drive.

we managed to spot a small herd of mountain goats and stopped for a while for some close encounters! Had to sneak really slow and quietly towards them.

I

I left my mark ! hehe..

we took some pictures at the driveway of the resort overlooking the mountains.

this is the posh resort..
