The Ryouga & Ukyou Chronicles
This is STILL my first attempt at a fanfiction, and it's turned out pretty well so far, as works-in progress go. I'm feeling the itch to write another Ranma Fanfiction someday soon, as soon as I find a decent enough premise to go on (I still haven't lived down Brotherkind...). At any rate, at its core, this story is about the developing relationship between two of the more popular side characters in the Ranma story, Ukyou Kuonji and Ryouga Hibiki. It is set to begin shortly after Ranma and Akane's wedding (the REAL one, not the one at the end of the manga),and I have tried my darnest to incorporate both elements of humor and seriousness into it. I am a firm and devout believer in the idea that these two make quite a good pairing in the scope of the series, and felt a need to pawn them off on each other rather than on some cheesy side characters, who SHALL remain nameless.

Anyway, back to what I was saying. I hope you enjoy the little tale I am weaving, which I will continue to weave until I am either asked to stop by a majority vote or I finally figure out a good way to end it. Until then, keep the Girthman informed as to how YOU think he's doing...
Volume 1: Exodus
Chapter One: Fate is Strange
Ryouga and Ukyou both must re-examine their lives and futures in Nerima after Ranma and Akane are officially wed. They are both faced with hard decisions and the uncertainty of Fate as they make a mutual decision that will change their lives forever.
Chapter Two: Walk With Me
Ukyou and Ryouga are out on the road, and they begin to understand and discover more about each other than they had originally expected. Plus, the two recieve an offer from a mysterious Chinese samurai that they can't refuse.
Chapter Three: Travellers and Thieves
The Martial Arts Couples Tournament is on, and our heroes have their eyes on the grand prize, but must still contend with the mysterious Grand Champions. Plus, the two recieve new allies in the form of a moneyhungry student and his lecherous friend.
Chapter Four: The Kiss Heard Around the World
The battle with the Martial Arts Grand Champions begins, and moneygrubbing Hiroshi will do anything to make sure that Ryouga and Ukyou come out losers. Will they do something that could threaten their newfound friendship...for the sake of a haircut?
Chapter Five: Intensive Care
The evening after the Couples Tournament finds Ryouga recuperating in a hospitol and Ukyou pondering the events of that day. Plus, Hiroshi meets a mysterious girl that captures his heart, and Ryu discusses the ever-present threat of Ninja assassins.
Chapter Six: A Rose Dying
A neat go-between story that takes place roughly two weeks after Ryouga is released from the hospitol. It involves a diamond, a familiar poetry-spouting idiot, and a legendary emerald rose!
Chapter Seven: Shurkashuton Tengoku
Ryouga, Ukyou, and the rest of the gang wander into the mystical land of Shurkashuton Tengoku, the Valley of the Four Seasons. Unfortunantly, their visit is met with an attack from the Valley's master, Prince Ito, and his three assistants.
Chapter Eight: Crimson
Ukyou is forced to re-examine her relationship with Ryouga now that she may never see him again, and discovers some truths that may have always been there. Plus, Hiroshi decides to call in a fellow schemer to assist in the situation, and Ryu takes up gravedigging.
Chapter Nine: Spring Showers...
The battle between The Master of Spring and Ryouga blazes on, while Ukyou finds a cold woman with a warm spot in her heart for Prince Ito. Can she convince her to help before Ryouga pushes himself beyond even his monstrous limits?
Chapter Ten: The Nature of Love
The "Four Seasons" saga reaches the breaking point, and there are startling revelations and bittersweet feelings aplenty. Has Ukyou finally found true love, only to lose it forever?
