This story was about Lai Po Yee (Patrick Tam) who was talented in fortune telling, predicting the future, and
  changing destiny. He grew up in a well-to-do family and had a servant name Shing Mei (Vivian
  Leung).  Patrick, Vivian, and Timmy Ho grew up together and they became good friends. When Patrick's family ran into
 trouble with a powerful Duke, Patrick and his family had to move away. Patrick and Vivian at first were only friends but
  they then became a couple when he found out that she liked him. At first, he didn't really like her because he had only
  thought of her as a friend, but when he realized that he did like her all this time, she said to him that they should remain
 friends. Patrick had to keep his love for Vivian hidden until when they were together when he thought that she was dying
   then he confessed to her that he loved her and he wanted to marry her. Elizabeth Lee also liked Patrick so she really
 disliked Vivian. Timmy Ho on the other hand liked Elizabeth who was a princess. After Patrick's dad died, he and Vivian
  traveled to the King's palace to help the king restore his health. Patrick became very popular in the palace and the king
 promoted him to a very high command. Timmy Ho was very jealous of Patrick. When Vivian was poisoned by a girl from
 another country, Patrick became extrememly upset. He went all over the kingdom to search for the cure, but he couldn't
 find any. When Patrick met up to the same girl who poisoned Vivian, he yelled at her for her stupidity and cruelty towards
 Vivian. The girl became regretful and came back one night into Vivian's bedroom (she was unconscious) and gave her the
 curing medicine. After Vivian woke up, she and the girl fought with some people in black uniform. Accidentally, Vivian fell
 off the cliff. Patrick became extremely depressed. When the king ordered that Patrick marry his sister (Elizabeth) Patrick
 immediately refused; therefore, he was sent to another country. While Patrick was away, Timmy Ho began to gain power
 in the palace again. Patrick met the same girl who poisoned Vivian again when he went to another country. She explained
 to him that Vivian fell off the cliff, at first Patrick didn't believe her but then he did. The girl was the daughter of the king of
 the country that Patrick was in. Patrick's duty for going to this country was to bring back the captured "old" king and his
 royal son. But Patrick failed to accompolish his task. The girl helped Patrick by offering to marry him so that the night of
   their marriage he could escape with the "old" king. During the celebration before the wedding a group of dancing girls
 came. To Patrick's surprise, Vivian was one of the dancing girls. She was astonished when she learned that he was going
 to be the Prince of the land after his marriage to the princess. She quickly left the place after the dance was done. Vivian
 had been rescued by a group of musical dancers when she fell off the cliff. Patrick quickly left to search for Vivian. When
  he met up to her, she was sitting on the ground crying. Patrick came up and Vivian ran away, but he catched her hands.
 He told her that they were not going to ever be separated again. (this part was so emotional). On the night of the marriage,
  Patrick and the others escaped but the princess died. Patrick came back to his country and discovered that Timmy Ho
  had control of the palace.  Timmy Ho somehow had won Elizabeth's heart and she married him so he then became the
 prince of the land. Timmy Ho died at the end and his wife became a nunn.  Patrick and Vivian traveled together across the
                kingdom in search of the "Dragon's Sole" in order to extend the kingdom's rule.
       Over-all I think this was a great serie, probably the only serie in TVB that Patrick had a lead role.  Patrick was great in this serie,   maybe a little bit weak in acting but still excellent.  Vivian Leung and Timmmy Ho were great, too.
