A DBZ/Ayenee Fan-fic
Night, dark and cold, the shadows from the half moon hung over the forest. The sounds of a scuffle could be heard from between the trees and seen from time to time as short blurs of images. One of the images paused briefly to look around from his viewpoint in a tree. The female was mocking him, and he knew it. Being only a draoniteran he could not trace her energy and he knew she was taking advantage of that. His cold reptilian eyes watched the ground. Then he was flung forward off of the branch he was sitting on and slammed into the ground. He got up like a shot and looked up in time to see nothing but a blue blur from the spot he had been. Then in the same blur, she was right in his face, her eyes narrow and smirking. He stumbled back, growling at her.
"Why must you torment me, female?" he snarled and flicked his tongue.
She gave a small chuckle. "Because it's fun, lizard boy. And stop calling me female. My name is Ayame, get that through your thick head."
He growled and narrowed his bright yellow slitted eyes. Then he swung his tail for the right side of her head, hoping to take her off guard. She yawned and brought up her right hand at the last second, knowing how much this ticked him off. Then she twisted his tail, making him roar.
"Ya know, if you just left me alone, you'd really be in better health," Ayame said plainly.
He pulled his tail free from her grip and swung around to look at her, growling. "Not within my programming."
"Oh gawd…" Ayame sneered and rolled her eyes. "Yea, well program this!" In less than an instant, she uppercut his face and sent him into a tree. "COMPUTER, END PROGRAM NOW!"
"--Cannot comply-- --Unauthorized--"
"Damnit, you electronic piece of shit! LET ME OUT OF THIS DAMN PLACE!" Ayame roared then ducked under the draoniteran. She jumped onto his back and pinned him to the ground, using her superior Saiya-Jin strength to hold him there. "Alright you fuckin glitch, I've been in this damn simulation for too long…I don't even remember HOW long. Who am I gonna hafta KILL to get out of here!?"
He just laughed. "Stupid monkey, you'll never get out of here. Not unless you're dead, after you've paid for the crimes of your people."
Ayame kept him pinned there, her tail lashing around. "Bull fuckin shit," she said, then mockingly, "Crimes of your people, nay nay… if you made a little more SENSE maybe then I could kill you and know why!"
He coughed from the pressure of her pinning him down and laughed again. "You can't kill me, I'm not even alive, female." Then his form wavered and she got off him, growling as the area around her swirled.
"Not again…"
Mezek tried to pull the doors apart one side, Kakoten on the other, strain showing on their faces. Even with all their strength, they couldn't make them budge. Then they let go of the doors, each to catch their breath, but Mezek punched the door, not even leaving a dent. He left his fist there, lashing his tail. Raken looked up from the control panel at them. Kakoten glowered at the doors, then sighed. He turned to Raken.
"Who, and why?" he asked.
Raken shook his head. "Don't know who, but they're better at this tech stuff than me, that's for sure. As for why, I can only guess. You know how many people hate us in this realm. Could be any of them."
Mezek lowered his hand from the door, still frustrated. "And when I find out who, they're going to need a lot more than a priest to get them back from where I will send them," he growled.
Kakoten looked back at the doors and frowned. "I just want Ayame out of there…"
Mezek growled and punched the doors again. "You and me both Dad…you and me both."
"Both what? What's going on?"
Both Mezek and Kakoten turned; Raken just looked over his shoulder.
"Shirow…"
Crap, whenever I think I have the upper hand, that damn glitch pulls shit like this, Ayame thought as she kept her eyes glued to the ground. The glitch creature had now changed the area to a treeless plain at night with a full moon next to a lake. Seeing the moon's reflection let her know NOT to look up. On top of that, she'd lost her moon glasses, so no short cuts. She tapped the band on her arm that the glitch had first put on her when she got here, and got shocked. Then she growled when it laughed and spoke up.
"C'mon female, look up at the pretty full moon. Show me your true side," the glitch taunted. Ayame shot her hand up and blasted the spot where she thought the voice came from, only to hit nothing. She lowered her hand back into a fist and growled when it only laughed.
"What the matter glitch? Can't face me eye to eye?" she asked. It only laughed harder.
"And have you try to erase me? Hahahhaa…c'mon, look at the moon and let them win, so we can end this…in their best interest."
"Damnit, who's they?" Ayame growled. Then the laughing stopped.
"They being my creators…they being the ones your offspring destroyed. The one you call…Shirow," it hissed from the grass.
"They send a lizard glitch to kill ME because Shirow killed one of them?" Ayame asked. "That's the stupidest fuckin' thing I've ever heard!"
The glitch hissed a laugh. "So you think, stupid or no, you pay for what he has done."
"Screw you, why me?" Ayame snapped.
The glitch only laughed from the tall grass. "Because…you are where he hurts the most. Destroying you, we destroy him."
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT WON'T OPEN?!" Shirow yelled at Raken.
"DON'T YELL AT ME! You heard me, Mom's stuck in there with a glitch of some kind, and the doors won't open…" Raken snapped.
"You tried everything?" Shirow asked, trying to calm down a bit.
Kakoten nodded. "Everything from ki attacks to just brute force. No go…" he said and sighed.
Mezek shook his head. "The field is too well made…" he grumbled and gave a long glare at Raken.
"Oh, sure, blame me. Mister high and mighty, I learned it from you. This field was your idea," Raken said.
"Yea, and you stole it. All my plans and what did you do? Make it yourself," Mezek pointed out.
Raken sneered. "You let me. I told you I was going to, remember, you even helped me put the damn thing together."
Kakoten put up his hands. "Argue about this 'who did what' thing later. First thing first," he said and waved a hand to the door. "Someone's in there we need to get out, remember?"
Shirow tapped his foot, looking bored. "What about the ground?" Everyone looked at him.
"What about the ground?" Mezek echoed.
"You know. What, do you extend the field under the ground as well as around the building?" Shirow asked.
Kakoten blinked and looked at Raken, who slapped his forehead.
"No, it's not underground too," Raken said.
"Well, then what the hell are you waiting for?" Shirow asked and started blasting the ground below the doors.
Ayame kept her eyes shut tight even while the glitch had her pinned to the ground.
"Look at the moon female! Change so I can fry your head!" it roared at her. Ayame only growled and lashed her tail around. Then her aura flared up a bright blue around her and flung the glitch off her. Surging to her feet she faced the glitch, her back to the moon, which was already starting to hang right above the horizon of the simulation. The glitch roared as it got up and blurred from sight. Ayame took a breath and closed her eyes, swinging around to catch the glitch straight in the jaw as it lunged at her from behind. It fell back and she made full circle, her back to the moon again.
"Why don't you give up, glitch? Or is it beyond your programming to realize that you can't make me look?" Ayame sneered.
There was only silence. Ayame blinked. She hadn't expected only silence after all the taunting and laughing from the glitch she'd been getting. She looked as far to the sides as she could without looking behind her. Then the entire scene around her began to swirl, dizzyingly. She closed her eyes to prevent from getting nauseous. Then something grabbed her tail and bent it in half. Her eyes widened in pain and she looked right at the full moon. The glitch had turned the entire scene a full one-eighty.
Damnit…she thought as she started to transform.
Mezek stopped blasting when he felt the ground shake. "Woah, the hell…?" he said and looked up at the bottom of the floor above them. "I don't like that."
"I didn't know we had earthquakes aro-" Kakoten cut off when they heard the roar, shaking the ground even more and making dirt fall loose around them. They all looked up at the floor above them.
"Damnit, it's got a moon in there," Raken said, searching his gi.
"Shit, that's the last thing we need," Shirow said and pulled out a pair of moon glasses. He held up three more pair and smirked. "Wear em if ya got em. We can now all be the Saiya-Jins in black."
The three of them groaned as they took the glasses and put them on as another roar was heard, but this time a roar of pain.
Kakoten shot up his head and growled, his green ki flame flaring up. "Ayame!" Then he launched straight up, making a wide hole in the floor that was above them. Everyone else jumped up after him.
They all dead stopped where they were, shocked at what they saw. Tendrils of electricity flowed from the band on Ayame's arm and were wrapped around her head and muzzle. She was holding her head, tail thrashing around, the bands around her muzzle so tightly she could barely open her mouth to roar. The lizard like creature at the base of her, laughing. At that, Mezek, Raken and Shirow all flared up and shot at it, leaving streaks of energy behind them. Kakoten was hovering in the air, blasted up to the band from where the electrical stands were coming from, and tried to pull it off. One of the tendrils lashed put and swatted him across the back, lurching him forward slightly, but he kept his grip on the band and pulled.
Shirow and Mezek roared and moved around the draoniteran in a blur, pummeling it with all their strength, but not really seeming to do any damage to it at all. Raken ran over to the controls, hoping to be able to disable it from in here, only to get bounced back off another field. Growling Raken got back up and beat a fist on the field.
"Damnit, damnit, damnit, damnit!" he yelled, then stopped before hitting it a fifth time. "That's it!" He felt the outside of his gi frantically, and pulled out a small disc.
Spinning around, Raken flung the disc at the draoniteran with insane speed and force, hitting it dead on and having the disc plaster its self against the lizard. Then the draoniteran screamed in pain as it started to blur in and out like static. Shirow and Mezek backed away from it.
Raken smirked and gave a two-fingered salute to the glitch. "Don't fuck with the tech. Eat virus, damn glitch." Then they were all shaken on the ground by a gothic roar as Kakoten landed near the glitch, holding the giant armband in one hand and glaring.
Shirow walked up to the glitch as it collapsed onto the ground; it's code breaking down from the virus. It looked up at Shirow with so much programmed hatred, Shirow instantly knew who sent it.
"Next time your creators want me, they come to me and me alone. Leave my family alone," he sneered. The creature roared as it broke up, the area around them swirling again and fading out.
"You have not seen the last of us Shirow…we…will…get…you back….for…what you….did…" the glitch growled as Mezek walked up, carrying Ayame in his arms. It swiveled its head around at all of them, its gaze resting once again on Ayame. "Her….most……of…….all…." it finished and finally broke up, leaving in a laugh and hiss of static. The disc that Raken had thrown dropped and bounced once on the ground.
