Tamahome is a romantic and responsible person. He says"I love You" to Miaka more often than Miaka does in the story. Although he seems aloof, arrogent and greedy ( his head full of making money scemes)in the begining this was all because he had to work hard to support the family in place of his sickly father as the elderest son. He may look cheerful and smily most of the time, but he is actually very stubborn inside, especially when its comes to the people he cares about. He's also fiercely protective of those he loves. He often protects other people at the risk of his own. When met with a stronger opponent, he never backs out.
