Type: Original fiction, a "Chronicles of War" alternate future.

To put it simply, James has a 14-year-old son, whom he's trained
expertly. The various people from Chronicles of War have opted not to
fight the Big War at the end of the cannon story, and are all working to
slowly change the world in the various places they call home. James
exists to solve various problems the others can't.
During the training of his son, James often said "If you give a man a
fish, you've fed him for the day. If you teach a man to fish, you've fed
him for life." For a long time the boy didn't understand this, but then
James battles the Council of Twelve, dying after finishing off the last
of them. He tells the boy about his innocent mother. James feels guilty
about her death because he did not teach her his style of fighting, his
beliefs, and that made her a target since she was simply near him.
A light-bulb goes on over the youth's head, and he goes around teaching
the masses "Nothing Rahn" in both the forms of style and philosophy. The
CoW cast thinks he's nuts, but the boy explains to Dave. "If you give a
man a fish, you've fed him for the day. If you teach a man to fish,
you've fed him for life."
