Percevial Bane is a Private Investigator fresh out of high school. Just
a few months before graduation, a strange character contacts him over
the internet, then meets him on the school grounds, asking for his help.
Her name is Kelli Wayne, a master practitioner of Aikido and Kendo who
becomes his assistant. Her parents, siblings, and immediate and extended
family all turned up missing in one day. Desperate, she started looking
for someone who wasn't in the trade. Someone without a history. Someone
who couldn't be bought. Someone who's loyalties were simple... someone
who could be easily manipulated with her feminine wiles.
And so, the pair starts off on a bizarre journey across the country,
tearing apart bars and stirring up general mayhem. Things are going
good, with plenty of drugs, sex, and rock-n-roll... until Bane realizes
that the disappearance of Kelli's parents may have been caused by
something bigger than them, and something they may not want to face
head-on without some serious backup.
