Movie Title: Clerks
Starring:  Dante Hicks, Randal Graves
Genre:  Life
Rated: R
Rating: *1/2 (out of ****)

The first of all those independent films in the series of Mallrats, Chasing Amy, and Dogma, Clerks is far off from the rest. For one, it's in black and white, an unusual color for movies made in the early 90s. Second, the stars aren't big names. This was a low budget, low class film with few settings and unimportant characters. The story itself was about two store workers, the low class scum of the city, and teenage views of life. One of the store workers, for a convenience store, was pessimistic and put little effort into his job, always longing over everything he missed in life. This guy obviously wasn't a risk taker. The other clerk was a slob who put little consideration into his job at the movie rentals shop. This second class clerk always got his buddy into really difficult situations, which made that pessimistic clerk feel even worse about his life. With a shockingly funny ending and mature wit, Clerks is truly a story for anyone who's used to the low class scum life. Hmm... my kind of movie...

Sincerely,

Alaay
