Can't see through...

Underwater in Ships Graveyard

If you encounter the situation like the picture at the top,: unable to see anything as long as
you get under water, it means two things: 1. You're playing an emulation of FFV. 2.
Your emulator does not support the Transparency Effect needed throughout the
underwater scene. :)
There are several ways to solve it:

1.Try to disable the water image background. (Not likely to work though)
2.Change to an Emulator that supports transparency. Currently Zsnes and
Nlksnes emulators can work with it, especially with vesa2 mode graphics.
Note that Zsnes only provides transparency with video drivers that support
     VESA2.
3.Read my Walking Sequence. When you get into the water room, follow the
instructions to walk and you can get outside.
4.Or use this Underwater Map made by the RPGe group who translated the game, and you can get out.
   5. Push the numbers on the keyboard.  Try every one of them.

Getting Through the Desert

Got to the desert, but always got pushed back by the sands?
This problem is not really a problem. What's wrong is, you've just been too adventurous that you go wherever you like,
ignoring the story. As long as you get to the Ancient Library, you find that desert. And instinctly, you think that desert is the
next stop after the Library.
But, Hold a sec!!
The story hasn't gone that far yet! You're still supposed to be eagerly looking for Mid, who's Cid's grandson, so that Cid can be
cheered up and hopefully build the Fire-engined Ship for you! Nobody really told you that you have to get to desert, so if you're
stopped there, you deserve it!
Anyway. So, after finishing Ancient Library and saving Mid's butts, you SHOULD first think if Mid has found Cid and given him
the important data, NOT GOING TO THE DESERT!!!
Sorry for losing my temper. I just couldn't believe this becomes any problem after the English version came out.

Looking for some summon beasts

If you're looking for summon beasts...
There are a couple that you might miss out in the first world, as listed below:

Shiva
Shiva lives high in the water tower inside the Worus castle. Please notice that it's NOT Worus Tower that sinks! It's a
small tower within the Worus castle. Since it's a tower, you have to find a path that goes UP. If you go down, you find
another crazy tough monster instead of Shiva. :)
Ramuh
After you get the ship, you can travel to 'Istory' (on the upper-left part of map) where a large waterfall can be seen.
There, villagers will tell you Ramuh is around the forest nearby. So you go to the forest beside the village (the big one, not
the small strip). Ramuh will show up as a monster, and after you beat him, he'll become the summon monster of yours.
