"If Only Tears Could Bring To Me"
Hiei's small frame laid on the ground. We were too late. They had done their
damage. "Oh ... oh please." I murmured, crouching over the small demon's
body. He was shaking, blood coming out of his right arm but his main injury
was on his forehead. A huge gash that was right above his Jagan, blood was
pouring out of it, and drenching the ground around him.
_____ How will I start Tomorrow without you here? Whose heart will guide me?
_____
I looked at his face. His eyes were closed, but his brow was down, so it
looked like he was concentrating on something. "Hiei..." I whispered. He
opened up his eyes, and looked up at me. He opened his mouth like he was
going to say something, but nothing came out. He just reached up to my face,
and stroked my cheek once. Then his arms fell back down, like that was the
last of his energy.
_____ Kisses too late Are you too far gone to stay? _____
"Hiei." I said, and put his head in my lap. I didn't know what to say. We
both knew it was time for him to go
_____ Best friends forever Should never have to go away, What will I do? You
know, I'm only half without you How will I make it threw? _____
He smiled up at me. Not his famous smirk, but a full smile. "Hiei ... I..."
I didn't know what to do, the words were caught in my throat. My tears fell
down on his face as his eyes closed for the last time.
_____
If Only Tears Could Bring You Back To Me. If Only Love Could Find A Way,
What I Would Do, What I Could Give, If You Returned To Me, Someday, Somehow,
Somewhere If My Tears Could Bring You Back To Me. _____
Kuwabara and Yusuke run in behind me, slamming the prison door behind them.
"Do ya have him?" Yuusuke asked, panting. I look up at them, tears still
falling down my cheeks. They don't say anything. They know what's happening.
Yuusuke walks up slowly and puts a comforting hand on my shoulder.
_____
Look in my eyes, you'll see, a million tears have gone by And still they're
not dry! _____
"No." I whisper, putting my forehead on Hiei's. He's still warm. I sit back
up and look at his face. He looks so much like a young child. Although I
never have doubted that he was older then all of us. He had such a horrible
life.
_____
For one more chance! For one last dance! There's not a thing that I would
not endure! _____
"No... nooo!!!!!!" I yell, hugging him close to me, not caring that I'm
getting coated in blood. I start crying in uncontrolable sobs. Then a voice
cuts threw...
"Kurama! Fox! Baka wake up!" Someone hisses. I look around. The dungeon
concrete walls are slowly replaced with my wall-papered bedroom walls, and a
concerned Hiei.
"Hiei." I say, and hug him around his neck, pulling him down towards me. I
smile at his surprised yelp.
"What's wrong with you fox?" He growls.
"Why, Hiei, if I didn't know better, I'd say you were worried about me." I
say teasingly. He looks at me angrily.
"Why would I do that?" He growls, but his eyes are warm, and he still wips
away the tears that are resting on my cheeks, totally ruining the 'tough-guy
attitude.'
"Just don't do that agian. You woke me up with your yelling." He says,
resting his head on my chest, looking up at me.
He cares for me, and that's all I need to know.
