ADJECTIVAL INTRODUCTION
Adjectives in Japanese can be conjugated to be affirmative or negative, perfective or imperfective. This is
very unlike English, however, it is not as complicated as it may sound.
There are only three short lessons on Adjectivals, along with a simple quiz to text your understanding of how
to conjugate the adjectivals.
An important point, however, is that usually, when directly modifying a nominal, the imperfective affirmative is
the one you should use. This happens to be the simplest conjugation.
One thing that will not be covered in these lessons is how to modify an adjectival in order to make it
into a nominal.
Now, enjoy your lessons.
