COUNTING LESSON TWO
Making the numbers between 10 and 99 is very easy in Japanese.
For numbers 10-19 think of the number as being 10 something, rather than what it is in english. This would mean that you should
try to see 12 as "ten-two".
For numbers 20-99 follow that idea, thinking of the english numbers as what they are made up of, rather than what we might
say in english. For example, think of 67 as "six-ten-seven". Or, if it helps, see it as "six tens and seven".
Note, future lessons will not contain every number in the range given. This page is exhaustive in order to help drill
the mind into the Japanese pattern for counting.
