Lost One bottle Simple ink on simple paper Glass pulsing with light As the lighthouse guides the way
Hurt Curious simplicity A meaning that creates wonder So strong, a word abused Even wild hearts can be lead astray
Hidden words: a fatal treasure Every lie a promise of forever Vows shattered, the last hopeful memory within a chamber of glass The past.
Love has scattered, two pieces of a puzzle, two halves of a fairytale Two who could potentially emulate perfection Almost, quite near identical, but the slightest falters drew them away The last words in ink, written under intoxicated denial and façade
Why must the skies be so soft So azure? Why must the heartache be so strong So pure? Certain warmth could make one feel wanted Certain wamrth could make on feel so haunted Memories are only sadness Serenity can only lead to madness Forgiveness isn't a choice To forget would be a blessing There is no more comforting voice
Lost Two halves of an enigma Mystery remains with new teachings, new regret Bitter promises tied with rope
Lost One bottle Simple ink on melancholy paper Forgotten glass, shadowed with the starless night A cold lighthouse turning its back on hope |
