You've got to be kidding!!

With bandaged heels I prepped for day two. If it was anything like the first day I decided I would hate school. Harumi was driving. Was glad, heels were killing me. The morning bathing ritual was just loads of fun with the gritted teeth and stinging as tried to clean lightly the stupid red patches. It looks like I was last on the assembly line and there wasnt enough material to finish me. Anyway, was glad of ride. Returned shoes and discovered (was embarrassed again) that they were Suenaga Sensei's. Returned them, bowed and shitsuree-shimasu-d my way out. Had lunch with Aya and Mayu. Did you know Mayu's name (or at least the kanji for it) means eyebrow? I of course thought it was cute that their last names have yama and tani in them respectively. Means mountain and valley. Showed them stuff and introduced them to the PowerPuffGirls. Got cute sticker-pictures of Aya (who could not fail to be cute if she was beaten with an ugly tree).

After our fun lunch, and agreeing to meet on Friday, went to see miss Imai who went with me to the YMCA. Surprise! Had to take a test. Not just any test. A test that took two hours. I felt like a moron because I guessed on..at least a third. At least. Poor Imai-san waited for me the two hours. Took other bus to train station and promptly got lost.

Again.

Asked policeman (I think, to my embarrassment) was same policeman. Got to correct location. Bought Momijimanju in celebration of my ceasing to be a moron. Bought ticket, and promptly went to train track 5. Was wrong. Sign was flashing in red. Red was wrong I remembered. Wanted green. But was not green. COuld not read Kanji. Asked. Woman said "wordswordswords tsugi". Tsugi is next. SO waited for train to leave and sat down to wait for next train. She then shook her head, clearly thought I was (am still) moron (doh!) and waved towards the next track. Ah, not next train, next track.

So, went to next track. Asked some fast food people. Track 7 they said. Went to track seven. Felt dumb. But asked again. Kindly woman said yes twas the train to Kaita. Even told me was second stop (I knew that, but was above and beyond kindness). She then watched me to make sure I got off at the right stop. How sweeeet! Felt warm and fuzzy, smiled at her on the way out, and she waved.

The walk home hurt me quite a bit. MY left sandal rubbed at the red heel and hurt hurt hurt and the bandage came off altogether. But altogether, I now know way around station. AM confused about track numbers, but can ask, so is ok. :)

Next track!
