I don't like picking at arcade translations but this one deserves some extra special attention.
No. *evil stare*, no I'm NOT low on ideas!

Here's the "map" of level 1. So far not too bad...

...until you find out that both the hero and soldiers are all graduates of the Nintendo Military School. You know, the one that requires all heroes to wear anything but actual military gear and to make sure every solder with the "kill the hero" objective all wear solid colors so the player knows they're enemies. In this particular screen shot we have a soldier sneaking out from behind a house. Where is this taking place anyway? That house looks like it could have come from some historic preservation site, but clearly this is a battlefield because of the dirt road and the walls that were build on this dirt road. Maybe Milton Bradley was going for a low budget Sim-Vietnam.

And the fantastically realistic war simulation lives up to its name when one bullet, regardless of whether you're standing in its path, or accidently walk into its path because collision detection is phenominally sub-par, you collapse and die. Milton Bradley gets bonus points for making the character's death look as real as possible without drawing a single drop of blood. I guess it's better than seeing the character get shot and having him make a funny face, throw his arms up into the air, and float off the screen.

And when you kill all the soldiers, all of the buildings and walls crumble...
...and you get treated by this victory march to the next level.
Here's levels 1-2 and 1-3. Use the same strategy (shoot everything that's not blue) to beat these levels. I still can't beat 1-3. If there's an ending I'll post pics of it eventually.

And when you lose all your lives, you get treated to an unceremonius "game over" screen. Maybe there's a "congradulation" screen too. I've gotten well over 100 of these in the past few nights trying to find out. Good luck with this one, especially IF you get further than I did and you discover that there's no continues.
I know my chicken...
