The Battle Skipper Exstars are a secret all-girl group created by the Etiquette Club of the Saint Igunachio School for Girls. Ayanokouji Rei, the president, and Shibusawa Rie, vice president, are the 15 year old founders of the group. Soon, however, three new-comers (Sakaki Shihoko, Tachibana Saori, and Lizaki Kanami) in their first year at Saint Igunachio join the Etiquiette Club and find themselves in a whole new predicament. These five girls go up against rival Kataougi Sayaka, president of the Debutante Club (which, sadly enough, has way more members than the Etiquette Club). Sayaka is also the enemy of the Battle Skipper Exstars, whose aim is obtain the Battle Skippers, which are mechas with an artificial intelligence system.  These Battle Skippers are MRV's (multipurpose robot vehicles) designed by Ayanokouji Rei's father. Together, the Exstars fight with Toudou and Sayaka's other henchmen to defend and protect their headquarters and defend the honor of the Etiquette Club...

The Battle Skipper Exstars are the OAV series spin-off from the original Battle Skippers.  I watched the dubbed version, which was nicely done. Not much centered around plot, but good animation quality, nice voices, and an all-around average series. Probably aimed mostly at girls, it's another one of those "super-hero girl group" show. It's okay if you're looking for mindless entertainment.
