Ash Ketchum is a young boy who goes traveling in search of becoming the world's greatest pokemon master!  If you don't know what a pokemon is, then you've really been *out of it*. Pokemon are super cute animals with a variety of skills and special attacks. Anyway, Ash's first pokemon is Pikachu, a reluctant electric pokemon who has it's own ideas on who's the master. Along his way, he meets Misty and Brock, one aiming to become the world's greatest water pokemon master while the other is for the world's greatest pokemon breeder. All learn that there is more to becoming a pokemon master than strength. Are Ash and his friends on their way to becoming the best there ever is?  Well, one thing for sure though: with Team Rocket brewing up evil plans wherever they go and Gary (Ash's rival) always staying a step ahead of Ash, their travels will certainly never be dull!

A very cute series indeed!  Aimed at kids for sure, but I still like it.  The pokemon voices and comic relief go a long way. Many many pokemon, and new ones are discovered almost every episode. The same thing happens everytime, but no one seems to mind. Nice music, voices, and good animation. Very simplistic, but hey, that's kid's anime for you!  Gotta catch 'em all!
