Kainan Names and School Translation

Kainan Names and School Translation

You are my guest, .

Sorry all, but I am using yellow kanji and you can't see it in my normal background picture, so I changed the background color. ^^

Kainan

Kai means 'sea' and nan means 'south', so Kainan means 'southern sea'.
Kainan color is purple but I couldn't get purple so I got yellow, which is Kainan's other color. Kainan color is purple not just that it is L.A. Lakers color, but purple means royal, king or prince. This fits The "Prince' Kainan because they are the top right now in the region.

The Players

#4 Maki Shinichi It is written Maki Ichi. This is the second kanji (the ichi in Shinichi) in the word Shinichi. Sorry but I couldn't find Shin.

Maki means 'shepherd' and shin in Shinichi means 'gentry/gentle' and ichi means 'one', so Shinichi means 'the gentle one'.
This does describe Maki. Maki is like a shepherd or the leader in his team because he is a good leader that guides the team to victory. He is also gentle and nice describing his first name.

#6 Jin Soichiro

Jin means 'god' (Usually just this kanji alone is pronounced 'kame' or 'shin'. It's pronounced as 'jin if the kanji is used behind a word) and So means 'ancestor', ichi means 'one' and ro means 'ancient city/title' so Soichiro means 'An Ancient title of an ancestor'.
Jin isn't a god but he is nice and kind like a god. I don't know if Soichiro has any relationship with himself.

#10 Kiyota Nobunaga

The first kanji in Kiyota means 'clear' 'pure' and the second kanji means 'field', so Kiyota means clean field. Nobu means 'believe' and naga means 'long', so Nobunaga means 'lond faithful belief'.
I don't know if Kiyota or Nobunaga have any relationship with his personalilty, but Sakuragi used the word 'field' to give him the nickname field monkey.

#5 Takasago Kazuma

Taka means 'top', high', and 'best' and sago means 'sand', so Takasago means 'best sand'. Kazu means 'one' and ma means 'horse' so Kazuma means 'one horse'.
I don't know if any fits him.

#9 Tadashi Mudo (Couldn't find Mudo)

Takashi means 'proper' 'right'. Mu means 'military' and do means 'wicker' 'cane' so Mudo means 'military wicker'.
