Black Moon and
Cresent Moon

Before I start, I want to tell you a little about this fanfic.
This was originally written for another fanfic series, but I decided to
use this to start another. I am not good at fanfics, nor have I seen how the
outer Senshi behave and how the Black Moon family behaves. So this is
probably *REALLY* off.

Prologue
Rei huddled close to Ami and shivered. Looking out the window, Rei
thought to herself. 'How long has it been since we've been here? Days, weeks?
Time doesn't matter anymore..'
Ami looked up and gasped, "Rei.. they aren't coming.. the Black Moon
Family will kill us.."
Rei stood up and gazed at her friend. "Ami, don't ever lose your
faith! They'll come! We'll beat them!" Rei crossed the small, cramped cell
and began to fiddle with the door handle.
Ami curled up. She didn't have Rei's fiery spirit, but Ami was never
known to give up. She sat back with a sigh, and her mind began to fill with
memories of all her friends. "I'll always be there for you..." "Let's go
Ami-chan!!" "Stay back, I'll protect you.." Everything became a blur in her
mind. One thought struck her like a blow across her face. "Sailor
Senshi..forever.. we'll never leave you behind.." With a burst of
determination, she stood up and walked over to Rei. "You're right! I should
never give up! It might be awhile until they get here, but they will!
Meanwhile, we should try to escape!"
Rei smiled at her newly determined friend. "RIGHT!"

"I hope Esmerude isn't here.." Black Lady murmured as she sat down on a bench in the park. It was pouring in Tokyo, and Black Lady was shivering.
"Damn rain.." Suddenly, a flash of lightning lit up the sky and Black Lady
jumped. "Why..why am I so frightened of lightning?" Black Lady lowered her
eyes to her drenched black dress. "M--mother.." She tried her best to
fight off the tears, but the instant a tear shone on her cheek, the dark
clouds parted to show the brilliant moon smiling down on her. She stood up,
entranced by the light, and raised her arms to the moon. The moonlight
poured down on her, and she was dressed in a bright, glamourous gown with
a yellow cresent moon embedded on her forehead. She smiled as she was bathed
in moonlight, all of her evil thoughts fading, replaced with happy memories
of the Moon Kingdom. She was Usagi's daughter, enemies with the
Black Moon Family. She, was Chibi-Usa.

As Chibi-Usa walked up the stairs to the door of Makoto's condo,
she noticed she was perfectly dry. Her pinkish-white skin glew with a
brilliant radiance. She was not the Chibi-Usa the senshi had grown to know,
she was Princess Chibi-Usa. "Barely Chibi," she said, smiling. She was older,
the age of the senshi as they were at that time.
Makoto opened the door slightly. Chibi-Usa smelled the delicious
food Makoto must have been cooking, and felt slightly hungry. She spoke.
"Mako-chan! It's Chibi-Usa!" She jumped with the lightning struck and cried,
"Please let me in!"
Makoto blinked. It didn't sound like Chibi-Usa, but Makoto felt
that it must be her. She unlatched the door, opening cautiously, but when
she saw Chibi-Usa, she threw open the door and embraced her. "Come in,
Chibi-Usa! Sorry about the wait."
Chibi-Usa meekly asked, "Makoto, could I have something to eat?"
Makoto said, "Of course! Feel free to--"
Chibi-Usa nodded, "Oh thank you!"
As Makoto sat down to watch Chibi-Usa eat, Makoto exclaimed, "Oh
my gosh! I forgot! We all are looking for you! We are so worried!"
Chibi-Usa dropped her chopsticks and stood up in horror. "Call
mother, and call Minako over! Please! It's urgent!"
Makoto flipped open her wrist communicator and notified Minako and
Usagi. They were over at Makoto's condo right away, and Chibi-Usa greeted
both Usagi and Minako with a warm hug. "Please.. you need to help me!"

Chibi-Usa's eyes were filled with tears. She clasped her hands and
plead, "Oh, please! Don't send me back! Don't let them take me!"
Makoto stood up, her hand clenched into a fist in determination.
"We won't, Chibi-Usa! JUPITER POWER, MAKE-UP!!"
Usagi and Minako watched as Makoto became Sailorjupiter. Sailorjupiter
exclaimed, "Well, come on, you guys! We must protect Chibi-Usa! She's in
serious danger! We gotta get Rei and Ami back too! It's our duty! We didn't
protect them; they sacrificed themselves to help us! This is the plan we have
been waiting for!"
Minako stood up clumsily. "You're right! VENUS POWER, MAKE-UP!!"
Minako transformed into Sailorvenus in a beam of light. Both
glanced at Usagi, who sat at the table still, staring at her hands folded
into her lap. Sailorvenus pulled Usagi up, but Usagi didn't respond.
Chibi-Usa held her mother's cold hands in her warm ones. She looked into
her mother's eyes and said, "We can get Rei and Ami back. We won't lose!
Transform, mother!"
Usagi wiped away a tear and shouted, "MOON POWER, MAKE-UP!!"
Chibi-Usa watched her mother transform into Sailormoon, and was
suddenly tempted to yell the same incantation. But she didn't. Sailorvenus
turned to her. "Where are Rei and Ami?"
Chibi-Usa pointed to the cloud-filled sky. "In the Black Moon Family
Chambers.."
Sailormoon wailed, "How will we get up there??"
Sailorjupiter leaned against the wall, thinking. "A couple options.
We could get Chibi-Usa to take us up there, or we can combine our power--"
Sailorvenus cut her off, brightening at the idea. "...to take us to
the Chambers, but we don't know how much strength we can pull with only us
three."
"Leave that to me.." Chibi-Usa beckoned Sailormoon to join hands
with Sailorvenus and Sailorjupiter. Chibi-Usa raised her hands and a beam
of light cut a circle in the ceiling and lifted the senshi up. Sailormoon
opened her eyes to find them floating over Tokyo in a soft light. Then the
beam of light collided with a flashing black light in the sky.

Rei was thrown out of her sleep. Realizing that she felt the senshi
were coming for them, she shook Ami awake. "They're coming! I can sense them!
I-- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!" Rei held onto Ami for
support.
"What.. what is it?"
Rei moaned, "The Black Moon Family... they..got..them.."
