Well if you made it to this page, you actually do care about my opinions...hah! Even though that my colorful opinions about the characters are spread out through the pages, here I am pretty much vicious about somethings. After all these are MY opinions, and we all are titled to our own right? Still, I would like to hear other opinions from people, so e-mail me! Don't be shy! *ahem* However, threatening mail will be ignored or destroyed.
Well, just like any sailor moonie, I *hate* DiC and strongly believe that it has no where near as good as the original. The dubbed shows were the first Sailor Moon that I saw. I was expecting it to be as good as Ranma 1/2 (hah!). The thing that got me hooked on Sailor Moon was the R movie...SUBTITLED! (Thanks JoEl, Abby,...you too Abra). But being that the DiC shows are pretty much the only thing of Sailor Moon that I can easily grasp, I cannot bash it totally. Most of the songs that they put in there are really good, but I wish that they kept the original attack and transformation music. I can understand some of cuts and changes that they did, since the show was aimed at young girls, but did they had to change so much?!
Who did the casting of the voices??! I'm not saying that any of these voices are bad, but some need to be moved to a different character and some need to get acting lessons. Well let's start with the good voices and move down.
My favorite voice is Alan's voice. (Is that a VIZ voice??) I LOOOOVE that voice! unfortunatly he didn't last. Next I like Darien's voice in the first 11 episodes. Think it was Rino Rimano. He did come back as Game machine Joe. Where is he now? Next to that, I think that Zoicite's voice is pretty cool. It really gives her character an attitude. And just as good would be Serena's voice in the first 11 episodes, and in episode 21. (Tracy Moore was it?) That voice is so cute!
The rest of the voices (except the ones mentioned below) are okay. Lita and Mina's voice are pretty good, but Raye's voice is a bit high when she is talking normal. She is pretty good when she gets mad ^_~*. Darien's second voice, Toby Proctor, is another good one, but he can't dramatize. He will not return to dubb the 17 new episodes...oo..oo..replace him with Alan's voice DiC!! A hot guy with a hot voice *sigh*.
STRONG NOTE: Here is where my TRUE opinions show...please keep an open mind!Now then, back to the bashing. However, I am aware that the actors are told to act a certain way. I *hate* Molly and Ami's voice! Those casters should be shot! Luna's voice does not fit the character. She is supposed to be around the same age as Serena, maybe a bit older, but NOT 60!! DiC will be in trouble if they plan to dubb the S movie. Now for Serena's new voice....GET RID OF THE VALLEY GIRL TALK!!! Sailor Moon is NOT supposed to be THAT much of a ditz!! And for those who told the voice actress to talk like that...heh...QUIT SAILOR MOON AND WORK ON WORK ON "BARBIE GETS A NOSE JOB!!"
All right! This section is not as vicious as my views on DiC ^_^. Basically since there really is no character that I hate, basically.
My absolute favorite character is, yes you guessed it!, MAMO-CHAN (hearts in eyes)!! He is animated so well, and is just oozing with style!
My next two favorite character are Sailor Pluto (of course) and Sailor Mars, partly since I am somewhat similar to them both. I think that Pluto is the prettiest Senshi and she is so independent. She also carries around a nifty time staff and has the coolest attack! Ahe is also very mysterious and cool-tempered. That's why she whispers her attack name! I like Mars for her boldness and firey attitude. Another Senshi with cool attacks! I love it when she yells at Serena too ^_~*. But she didn't have to be real desperate towards Darien. Oh! And for those of you who never seen the originals, the DiC Mars seems a lot meaner than the original. I don't know why they did this. Nevertheless she still is one of my favs.
Following close would be uranus. I just love it when she acts arrogant! I especially love it when she's mean to Seiya. After that would be Jupiter. She is loyal and a true friend. I like the characters that are agressive and know how and when to use their attacks. Then would be Neptune. I think that she is really classy and artistic. And she knows how to play the violin. She also has cool attacks.
My next favorite Senshi is Venus. She can behilarious at times, although I think that a lot of her attacks are a bit plain. The do look cool and are very effective and strong, and she doesn't hesitate to use them. After Venus, there is a close tie between Sailor Moon and Mercury. Mercury seems a bit boring to me, but I admire her intelligence and strategy in fighting. I do not like it when Sailor Moon acts like a ditz, but she still is cute and funny. Another hilarious character!! I also think that Chibi-Usa is very cute.
I cannot really tell where Saturn would fit in here (probably between Moon and Mercury). I have never seen her in the anime, only in manga (not enough). But from what I heard, she seems like a cool character. It is nice that there is a Senshi that has really strong power.

Then comes the Sailor Starlights. Well, my favorite is Star Healer. I like his attitude. I'm not a fan of Maker, but I think that it is nice that there is a character smarter than Ami. I was beggining to think that she was an alien with super brain powers. However, I do not like Seiya. I think that he is a pig-headed and egotistical jerk! Well, I did learn to appreciate him ...a little. I do not hate him now as much as I did when I first started watching Sailor Stars. (I started somewhere near the end, where Usagi was developing feelings for Seiya). I thought that they replaced dear Tuxie with THAT punk! But when I found that Tuxie returns and the Starlights leave, I eased up on him.
