The Sailor Mercury Pool

Hello and welcome to the Sailor Mercury Pool! I think that she is one of the most misunderstood characters, so I took the liberty to (re)create this page to show people the 'true' friend of water. So have fun and get wet!

Ami is a shy, but intelligent character that posses the power of water. She was transferred to Juuban Junior High School from "Brainiac Academy." There she met Usagi and started to overcome her lonliness. In the last season, she goes to Juuban High School with Usagi, Makoto, and Minako.

If she is so smart, why does she sometimes say stupid things and states the obvious? It's a lack of social experience. Even with her intelligence, Ami is very blunt and says things without thinking. She was always to shy to approach people, and therefore did not have much close friends (if any) until she met Usagi. Hey!! Even the smartest people in the workd say dumb things. FYI, EVERYONE states the obvious, not just Ami, but she does mostly.

It seems that Mamoru is popular even amoung boys.Yes, Ami did say this (accidentaly) during the R movie. As much as I hate to admit it, this had to be said. The thought of our dear Mamo-Chan having an intimate relationship with Fiore was a subplot of the story. (Ask the writers on this one). Ami was the best person to say this phrase for two reasons: first, it fits her character (see the question above) and second, no one else was suited to say it. The cats were not in the conversation (and would not have said it anyways), Rei used to have a crush on him (probably still does...a little), and Makoto and Minako both like boys and would had not thought of such a thing about Mamoru (who would).....and of course Usagi would never even THINK that!

Why do Neptune and Mercury have the same kanji used for attacks? Neptune and Mercury DO NOT have the same kanji (element used for attacks). They are similar but very different. Neptune's kanji is the sea, while Mercury's is mostly ice and freezing water/mist (bubbles).
