"Codename Sailor V"

Before Sailor Moon existed, Minako fought evil as Sailor V. She made her first appearance in a magazine called "RunRun." From that, it was made into a two volume manga published by Kodansha. Animators loved the idea of this school-girl dressed heroine, but they needed a thicker plot and more characters. So, Naoko started working on a similar story, titled "Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon."

The story begins with a 7th grader, Aino Minako, who is tumbling on the bars in gym class. As she lands, she crashes into a white cat with a crescent moon on his forehead. (Artemis of course). Just like Luna with Usagi, this cat tells Mina that she is Sailor Venus.

Items, Attacks, and Powers

  • Crescent Moon Compact: Sailor V uses this to transform into other people.

  • A Pen: Mina's transformation stick. It is also a communicator device.

  • Moon Power, Make Up!: Minako says this as she becomes Sailor V.

  • Crescent Moon Power, Transform!: Using her Crescent Moon Compact she says this to transform to become another person.

  • Crescent Beam: Similar to Minako's attack in Sailor Moon, but here, she uses her compact to burst it out.

  • Crescent Super Beam: Crescent Beam with a boost!

  • Venus Power: Love Crescent Shower: Lets out a shower of rain, using her compact.

  • Crescent Boomerang: Uses her compact like a boomerang.

  • "SAILOR V KICK!" That famous kick Usagi imitates!

  • "SAILOR V PUNCH!" Watch out Rocky!

  • "SAILOR V CHOP!" aiyaa!!

  • "SHIKI MOMIDASHI SAILOR V CHOP!" another chop!

    • Baddies

  • Higashi: Narkissos who poses as a guy that Minako gets a crush on. She wears a red bow in her hair because he told her that she looks good with it.

  • Flourite: Leader of the 'Dark Agency,' which sends out monsters as idols to take over Tokyo.

  • Pandora: A monster disguised as an idol singer, Pandora.

  • Petite Pandora: Sister of Pandora, who gets her male slaves by winking at them...sounds like me ^_~*.

  • Dark Guys: Triplet singing brothers.

  • Twin Dark: Twin sisters of Dark Guys.

  • Hikaru: Minako's best friend, very similar to Ami-chan.

  • Amano: The Melvin of Codename Sailor V.

  • Wakagi: A policeman that hates Sailor V for "stealing his criminals."
