Happosai is
quite obviously, a lecher. A perverted, disgusting, girl smitten, dirty
as
mud, and obnoxious
lecher. He's so
hooked on girls that (truly), if you take him away from female
contact for
a few hours, and
depreive him of female underwear for a few days, he'll start to weaken,
wither, and
die.
He's that
addicted. He doesn't
even need to eat, he draws his energy from the bodies he touches. (How
disgusting.)
He also adopts
the weak reason that he takes in disciples. While he is powerful, his ultimate
motive for
accepting disciples
is simply to train them to become thieves like him. He hardly teaches them
anything,
he abuses them,
and lets them do all the hard work. Although he's nothing compared to Nabiki.
Genma
and Soun, two
unlucky souls who were his former students, are absolutely terrified of
him,
although they
always try to
get rid of Happosai whenever possible.
Previously, ten years ago following the Manga's storyline, Happosai was
'training' Genma and Soun as his
disciples
by making them steal for him and all doing all sorts of illegal activities
and making them pay for
them. However,
one day, Genma and Soun 'acquired' several HUGE jugs of sake (rice-wine)
and made
Happosai dead
drunk, then they stuffed him into a chained and warded basket and tossed
him down the
deepest cave
they could find with some dynamite and sealed the hole up with a charmed
and warded
boulder. He
escaped in a thunderstorm when the seals on the boulder were destroyed
by a falling tree, and
here you have
him! *puke*

Cologne is
generally called 'Oh-ba-ba', meaning 'grandmother,'
as Cologne
is only her nickname.
Her name can
mean the perfume for men, literally in english, or possible for her to
keep a relationship,
which is also
quite interesting, considering her age.
Cologne comes
from the same tribe as Shampoo, Joketsuzoku, and is her great-grandmother.
The first
time Shampoo came back from Japan to report failure in killing Ranma, Colgone
told her she
needed some
more training, and at Jusenkyo, knocked her into the Maonichuan. She's
about a 100,
although in
the anime, she's a few hundred more. Don't know why, must be all that martial
arts training
they do. Or
is that because it's some tribal secret? Hm....
Anyway, she's
always trying to devise a plan to get Ranma to marry her Shampoo, and is
occasionally
almost successful.
But poor Ranma's heart still belongs to Akane's alone. Cologne doesn't
mind, and
always tries
her best to get Ranma to marry Shampoo anyway, but she also helps Ranma
out alot
of
times, like
when he became weak because of Happosai. (How he could support his own
weight,
yet not hurt
a child is beyond me.) Let's wish her long life, eh?
She's supposed to be matriach of a large group of amazons in the village,
and the queen of the tribe as
well, although
I'm not too sure on this. She and Happosai had a kind of relationship when
they were both
young, however,
and Cologne supposedly still harbours feelings towards Happosai! *GASP*
"Ok, youngster,

(Me) "....
