mail me. I'm already confused as it is, you don't need to drive
me even more off the cliff okay?

This is a whole different series than my other ones. If you
read Jupiter Knight and Past Lives, you'll see some tie-in and
same character basis. Yes, I know, all my fics are somehow
connected to each other. Well, that way, I won't go out
of my mind trying to recall which fic was which.
Thanks to Lord Talon (heeehee! The mighty Lord Talon) for
giving me the idea, even though you don't know it yet.

Oh, if you haven't read the previous chapters, you might
want to go back and read them, or you'll be feeling around in
the dark. But don't take my word for it.

                   Fight Your Blood, Betrayal
		        By Lady Jupiter

"That's my son! Now, how should we have our revenge?"
The Dark One asked.

Lita stared, wide eyed at Jupiter Knight. Did she
hear right? Was he betraying her? Betraying their love?
No, this can't be happening.

Jupiter Knight thought. Now, he's not ready to fight
yet. He needed a few more days to regain his strength. He
needed to stall and think of a plan.

"I can't think right now. Let's put her in the dungeon
cage. Then, when I think of something good, we can do it."
Jupiter Knight couldn't believe he was saying this. But this
plan had to work or else they were both doomed.

The Dark One thought about it. Yes, it's better to
think up something juicy, then putting it to work. The Dark One thought.

"Yes, great idea. Here, help me put her in. She looks
like she's properly awake and will put up quite a fight."
The Dark One said.

Jupiter Knight walked to Lita first. He saw the look
if abandon in her eyes. She really thought he would abandon
her and go to the other side?

"How do you take the cuffs off?" Jupiter Knight
asked.

"Oh, we're not going to take it off." the Dark
One said.

Jupiter Knight gulped. How was he suppose to
set Lita free now?

"Grab her when I take the chains off. Take her
to the dungeon cage. The one on the far left. That's the
only one that can lock. I need to put a force around
it so she won't try to do anything." The Dark One
said.	He pointed a finger at the table, and immediatly,
the chains dissapeared.

Jupiter Knight effortlessly lifted Lita off the
table, surprised that she wasn't putting up much of a
fight. He put an arm under her legs and another
on the small of her back, carrying her like a
baby. Lita gazed up at him. She tried to look in his
eyes, to see if this could be true, but he looked away.

Jupiter Knight had to turn his head. Lita's
penetrating gaze was killing him. He tried to walk faster,
but the dungeon cages were on the other side of the
room. He felt Lita put her head on his shoulder and
continue staring up at him.

"Ken? Why?" Lita whispered in his ear, her voice
trembling.

He knew the Dark One was watching his every move,
so he couldn't mess up. He couldn't answer. Jupiter
Knight stared straight across the room at his
destination, trying to keep his face stern.

When he got there, Jupiter Knight tried to put
Lita as gently as he could down on the cold cement
ground. He stood above her, looking at her.

"Come out so I can lock the door!" The Dark
One ordered.

Jupiter Knight obeyed. He stood beside the
Dark One as the locks snapped inplace.

"Force shield, on." The Dark One said. An
almost transparent shield came up infront of him.

"Can you take the cuffs off of her? Now
that you know she can't do any harm." Jupiter Knight
asked again.

"Why not." The Dark One held up his hand.
The cuffs appeared in his hand. They were no longer
on Lita's.

	  Jupiter
Knight thought. Lita kept on staring at him, burning
into his soul with her wide emerald eye, pleading
him to tell her this wasn't true. Jupiter Knight
tore his eyes away from her gaze and looked at the
Dark One.

"Looks like you need some rest," The Dark
One said, "Go to sleep. You can use the third
bedroom on the first floor. It's already furnished
for use."

Jupiter Knight nodded and took another look at Lita,
who wasn't looking at him anymore. He feared that the
second he left her and the Dark One alone, the Dark
One would do something to her.

"Are you coming?" Jupiter Knight asked, then bit
his tongue for the next word, "Father?"

"Yes," The Dark One followed his son up to
the elavator.

A couple of days later....

Lita sat in the dark. She should have been use
to this by now. She had been here for three days, and never
saw the sunlight since she left her apartment. Her stomach
grumbled. She was hungry.

They fed her, but she wouldn't call what she ate
a meal. The Dark One only fed her once a day, a measly
half loaf of bread and some stale water. She had tried all
her powers trying to break the lock and forcefeild and exhausted
herself.

For the whole three days, she never even caught
a glimpse of Ken. Had the Dark One brainwashed him like
the Negaverse did to Prince Darien and made him forget about
her? So far, she had found out that the Dark One was indeed
not from the Negaverse.

Once, while the Dark One was down here, she saw
him cut his hand on the blade of a knife and bled bright
red blood. 'People' from the Negaverse didn't bleed red
blood. They bled some translucent green liquid, thicker
than blood.

Lita heard something. Someone was coming.

"Jupiter Power!" Lita said. Maybe by being
Sailor Jupiter, she could somehow defeat the Dark One,
or at least remind Jupiter Knight of who he is.

Sailor Jupiter's eyes still weren't adjusted
to the lack of light. She could see figures, but not
colors. She could barely make out two forms coming
toward her. She recognized both of them. Jupiter
Knight and the Dark One.

Jupiter Knight looked better. His clothes
were no longer stained with blood. He still looked
injured though. Sailor Jupiter looked carefully
at Jupiter Knight. Maybe she could take him on, if
it came down to that. He didn't look as strong as he
did.

"I'm tired of waiting!" The Dark One growled.

"Wait, be patient." Jupiter Knight said
softly.

"Be patient? I've been patient for an eternity.
Now, I'm everything but patient. Now did you think of
something yet?" the Dark One asked imapatiently.

	"No," Jupiter Knight admitted.

"Nimwit! So are you just stalling her fate?"
the Dark One accused.

	Jupiter Knight didn't answer.

	  Sailor Jupiter thought. She
sat in the darkest corner of the small cage.

"It's a good thing I thought up of a way to kill
her slow and painfully." the Dark One cackled. He looked
at the wide array of knifes and swords hung on the opposite
wall. "Ahh, I see something!" He said.

The Dark One eyed the shiny katana. His plan was
already in his head, ready to be laid out. First, he would
tie Makoto on the stretch table. He would stretch her another
feet, until ALL her joints were dislocated. Then, while she
was still aching with that pain, he would use the curved katana
and slice open her midsection, watching her insides spill out.
Then, he would take her intestine and stretch it around her,
watching as she strangled herself.

Jupiter Knight saw the insane look on the Dark One.
He was dangerous.

"Go get me that katana on the wall!" the Dark One
ordered.

Jupiter Knight hesitated. The Dark One watched him.
Hesitation was not a good sign.

"Go get it!" He ordered again.

Jupiter Knight slowly walked to the katana. Jupiter Knight ordered his mind.

"Why don't we wait one more day?" Jupiter Knight
asked.

"No! This is going to be done today!" The Dark
One shouted.

Jupiter Knight now had the katana in his hand. He
looked over the dull blade. It would be painful being cut
with this thing. He started walking to the Dark One.

"Hurry and give it to me. Then, go fetch the
girl." The Dark One said impatiently.

	  Jupiter Knight's mind
screamed. He raised the katana and threw it toward The
Dark One. The katana spun like a sharp edged frisbee toward
the Dark One.

the Dark One thought. He raised
his arm to block the katana. It sank into his arm and stayed
there. He felt no pain. He used his other arm to dislodge
the blade from his arm. Quickly, the wound healed itself to
new.

"Betray me again?" The Dark One asked. His anger
was rising.

"Let the girl go and you can do whatever you want
with me!" Jupiter Knight tried to bargain with him.

"No! Jupiter Knight, run! Go save your own life!"
Sailor Jupiter cried.

Jupiter Knight glanced in the cage. Sailor Jupiter
was crouched there. It was too dark to see much, but he
knew her eyes were puffy from crying.

That little glance was all that he needed. The
Dark One threw the katana, making it curve round and round
at Jupiter Knight.

"Ken, watch out!" Sailor Jupiter cried.

Jupiter Knight instinctively dived out of the way,
but the katana still hit him. He felt the blade sink into
his other shoulder. Jupiter Knight thought.

The pain was excrutiating. Jupiter Knight screamed
out in agony. The only thing he could think of that was
good about this was that it wasn't happening to Lita.

"Ken!" Lita cried. She saw his face twist with
agony.	She saw the Dark One walking closer to him. "Behind
you!" she tried to warn.

Jupiter Knight rolled onto his back, too injured
to get up. He saw the steel toed boots implant themselves
into his midsection. He felt the air knocked out of him.

The Dark One took a medium sized sword hanging from
his belt. He held it up, letting Jupiter Knight admire
the blade.

"See this?" the Dark One asked, sneering.

Jupiter Knight struggled to keep his eye open.

"Well, all who betray me will FEEL it!" the Dark
One brought the sword up, ready to swing it.

"No!" Jupiter Knight heard Sailor Jupiter
scream. He tried to roll out of harms way, but he still
felt the sharp sword go through his stomach.

"Ken!" Sailor Jupiter screamed. She got to
her feet and ran into the bars, trying to bust them
open.

"Jupiter Thunder Dragon!" She shouted. The thunder
dragon rose, but dissapeared when it came in contact to
the protected bars. She felt a rush of energy push
her against the wall. Her power backfired. She sank to
the floor, shaking her head free of all the befuddlement.

She heard clinging of the locks and was aware
of the cage door-opening. She struggled to her feet. They
felt like rubber coated cement. Before she even reached
the door, something heavy was thrown at her.

There was an "oomph" as Sailor Jupiter fell back.
She tried to get up, but found that whatever was thrown
at her was too heavy.

"You two keep each other company. I would
dispose of you today, but this is wearing me out." the Dark
One said and slammed the door. He sighed on the way to
the elevator, "I'm not as young as I use to be." Then,
he dissapeared into the dark doorway.

Sailor Jupiter felt something warm trickle on
to her arms. She noticed whatever was on top of her,
keeping her from getting up was warm too.

"Ken!" Sailor Jupiter cried. The Dark One had
thrown him in here with him. She got up from beneath
his limp body and brought him to the wall. She leaned him
against the wall, trying to see how injured he was.

"Oh, god Ken. Hang on!" Sailor Jupiter cried.
His clothes were blood once again. A deep wound was at his
stomach, blood seeping out of it.

Lita de-transformed back to her pajama's, which was
what she was wearing before she was abdupted. She tore off
Jupiter Knight's shirt, knowing that if she didn't stop the
bleeding, he would bleed to death. She saw that his own
clothes were much too bloody and soiled to be a bandage and
still have sanitation.

The only choice was to rip her own clothes. By
the looks of it, she would probably have to rip all the
material from her pajama's to bandage all of his wounds.
Lita took her pajama's off and transformed back into Sailor
Jupiter so she didn't have to be naked.

With her teeth, Lita tore her pajama's to shreds,
first bandaging the deep wound on his stomach. She wrapped
the cloth around him several times, hoping to soak up the
bleeding and make it stop. Then, she tore several smaller
pieces. She bandaged each shoulder, which were bleeding, then
she wrapped his hand in the last of the bandage.

Gathering up Jupiter Knight's clothes, she made a small
pillow for him on her lap and cradled his head in her
arms.

"Please, Kennie. Wake up, you can't leave me." Sailor
Jupiter said softly, crying for all the pain he was in.

Ken was aware of someone calling out his name. He looked
in every direction, but it was too dark. The voice was distorted,
making everything seem like it was caving in on him.

"Kennie," the voice called out over and over again, blending
with the backgrounds, "Kennie......Kennie....."

With every ounce of strength he could come up with, Ken
tried to shake off the sleep. He opened his eyes slowly, expecting
the sun, but seeing only the darkness.

	"Ken!" Lita cried.

Ken struggled to focus his eyes. He was staring up at
Lita. Her hair was disheveled, but she was smiling at him.

"Oh god, Ken. You're awake. I thought...I thought
.....I thought that you were dead!" Lita sobbed, hugging him.

"Shhh...." Ken soothed. His mouth was dry, and the
smell of mildew was in the air. He brought his bandaged hand
up to her and smoothed away her tears.

"I'm alright, see? Shhh....C'mon, Li. Stop crying.
That's not going to get us out of here." Ken said softly
to her. He tried to ignore the pain pounding in every inch
of his body. He felt pain where he never knew there were
pain receptors. Even his teeth hurt.

Lita thought. She swallowed back her tears and looked
down at him. "You're an awful liar Kennie." she smiled.
Tears threatened in her eyes again.

	"Why is that?" He asked.

"You're not alright. You look like death." Lita
said. It was true. His face was now several shades paler
and his eyes had dark circles under them. He had stopped
bleeding, but he didn't look any better.

Ken looked at her. She was covered in blood, but
it was his blood. "Did he do anything to you?" He asked,
concerned that while he was out, the Dark One had come and
did something.

	Lita shook her head.

Ken struggled to sit up, "How long have I been out?"
He asked.

	"About a day, I think. I don't know! It's so dark
in here, it's hard to tell one day from another." Lita cried.

Ken sat up and leaned against the wall beside her.
"It's okay, Lita. Don't get hysterical on me. We'll find
a way out. Don't we always?" He tried to calm her and
himself down.

Suddenly, Ken went into a coughing fit. He covered
his mouth, facing away from Lita. He knew he was coughing
up blood, he could taste it in his mouth. Ken quickly wiped
his hand on his pants, trying to hide it from Lita.

"Ken! Are you okay?" Lita saw the blood.

"Yeah, (cough) I'm fine." Ken choked out.

Lita walked to the other side of the cage and brought
something back. It was a plate of half a loaf of stale
bread and a cup of water. She offered it to him.

"No, I'm not hungry. You eat it." Ken refused.

"Ken, eat it. You need your strength. Besides,
I don't think he's going to feed us anymore." Lita said.

"All the reason for you to eat it. I don't think
I can keep it down. It's already too late for me. Go
ahead, eat it, Lita." Ken urged her.

"No! Ken, don't give up on me! It's never too
late. You have to eat it." Lita insisted. She started
crying a fresh batch of tears.

"Okay, okay. I'll eat it. Just don't cry. It won't
do any good." Ken said. He forced down the dry bread and
drank some of the lukewarm water. He hugged Lita to him,
letting her fall asleep on his lap. She'd been up for
more than twenty four hours, making sure he wasn't dead. Now,
Ken forced his eye's to stay open, in case the Dark One
came.

After a few hours, Lita bolted upright. "How long
was I asleep?" She asked.

"I guess a few hours." Ken said. He really had
no sense of time down there. It could have been a few minutes,
or even a few days.

"We have to think of a way out! He's going to come for
us, we can't wait like sitting ducks." Lita said determined.
"But how can we fight him? He can instantly heal himself!"

Ken thought a while. "While I was up there, I saw
this room. There were four guards guarding some sort of
round orb. I think that has something to do with his powers."
He said.

"Okay, we'll go up there and destroy the orb. Then,
let's see if anything happens that will weaken him." Lita
said.

"No, I'l stay down here. I'll only slow you down.
Destroy the orb and then leave. Leave me here. I don't think
I can walk." Ken sighed.

"No! Don't talk like that. I will NOT leave you here."
Lita insisted. "Now, how do we get out of this?"

"See the lock?" Ken asked. He pointed to the
small keyhole on the door of the cage.

"Yes, I tried that already. My thunder won't break it."
Lita said.

Ken took out his sword. "Lightning daggers." He mumbled.
With one dagger, he aimed at the lock and threw it.

The lock shattered, releasing the forcefield. Now,
they were free.

"Come on Ken," Lita said, giving him a hand.

"No, Lita. Leave me here. I told you I'll only
slow you down." Ken didn't bother to get up.

Lita stood there, staring at him. She knew he was
reluctant to get up. What he said was true, he would slow
her down. And if she got into a fight, he was in no
position to back her up. No, she'll leave him there and
come back later.

"Okay, I'll come back later for you." Lita promised
she started walking out the now open cage. Her green fuku
almost seemed to droop in fatigue.

	"Lita," Ken called.

Lita turned around. Ken tossed her his two daggers.
"Take this. Be careful."

Lita caught them with expertise and held them in her
hand. "I will."

Deciding against the noisey elevator, Lita walked
to the winding steps.

"Those are murder." Ken called afer her.

Lita bounded up the steps, two by two. Toward the
middle, she slowed down to catch her breath. How long has
she been walking? Did these actually lead somewhere? Finally,
she reached the top.

She was faced with a hallway full of doors. Which
one was the one that contained the orb Ken was talking about?
She heard some footsteps and quickly hid behind a huge statue
of some sort of tree. She saw the Dark One walk past her,
toward the elevator.

	  She thought.
She hurried and checked door after door. At the fourth door,
she saw some sort of engraving on the doornob.

Lita opened the door a creak, and saw four guard
standing around something. They looked as still as statues.
she said to herself. Lita took a deep
breath and flung open the door.

The guards, caught by surprise just stood there for
a few seconds staring at her. Then, they got their act
together and ran with their long swords to her. Lita, who
was still as Sailor Jupiter tried to think fast of a battle
tactic.

"Jupiter Thunder Clap, Zap!" She shouted. She
knocked down two guards who flew across the room.

Suddenly, the two daggers that she had temporarily
forgot about flew out. They seemed to have a mind of
their own, and a target. The two daggers implanted
themselves on the side of one of the big guards head.
Sailor Jupiter winced at how that would feel. The big
guard fell and turned to ash.

Sailor Jupiter rolled just in time to avoid a
neck fracture as another guard swund down his blade. She
kicked up and caught the guy in the crotch.

"Supreme Thunder!" She shouted and shot at
that guard.

Poor guy didn't know what hit him and immediatly
turned into ash just like the first guy. The two guards
who were first hit by Sailor Jupiter got up, charging
for her. She ducked and saw them run into the wall.

"Jupiter Thunder Dragon!" She shouted. A large
dragon emerged, splitting into two and it got close to
the two guards. Right on target, the dragon turned those
two into ash.

Sailor Jupiter looked around the room, expecting
some more guards to spring out of the wall or something.
Everything was deathly still. In the middle of the
room was a huge glowing orb of some sort. She thought. She got close
to it and touched it.

There was some sort of static electricity to
it. It made her hair stand on end. Sailor Jupiter took
a dagger and tried to implant it to the orb. It was too
slippery and hard. She tried her thunder, still no avail.

The last tactic was just to drop it on the floor
and shatter it. Sailor Jupiter picked the orb up, shocked
at how heavy it was. She raised it above her head and
threw it down on the hard marble floor.

The shatter was so loud, the windows broke in that room.
Sailor Jupiter looked at the pieces of glass on the floor.
They were so minute that they looked like fine grains of
sugar. The wind blew those pieces away, out the window.
Sailor Jupiter ran out of the room toward the dungeon. But
before running out, she saw something.

It was like a small crystal, in the shape of a key.
Thinking that had something of an important value, she
took it and ran.

"So? She's gone?! Well, no matter. She can't get
away from here." The Dark One said, towering over Ken, who
was still on the floor.

Ken glared at the Dark One. If looks could kill, The
Dark One would have been dead a long time ago.

"As for you.....You're lucky to deserve a quick and
somewhat painless death." The Dark One raised his sword
above his head, ready to strike.

Ken didn't move. He couldn't if he wanted to. He
watched the Dark One, the insane look in his eyes.

Suddenly, The Dark One's eyes popped wide open. They
started turning red. Skin started to rot. His arms got
skinnier and skinner, til Ken could see his bones.

"No! Who's messing with my orb? My life orb?!" The
Dark One shuttered. His voice was no longer powerful and
world shaking. It was now the voice of a fragile old man.

	  Ken thought.

The Dark One shrinked, until it was the size of
a walknut, then turned into a cockroach. Ken was amazed.
This was the man that was once so powerful? He would've laughed,
if his ribs didn't hurt.

A green shoe came down on the Dark One, the cockroach.
A crack signaled the death of that insane man. Ken followed
the shoe up, to the long legs, up the short green fuku, at
Sailor Jupiter's smiling face.

"You did it, Li." Ken said.

"Yup, now let's get out of here. It's giving me
the creeps." Sailor Jupiter said. "Can you stand?"

"I think so," Ken struggled to get up, leaning
on the wall for support.

Sailor Jupiter put one of his arms around her shoulder,
giving him support, letting him lean on her. She put an
arm around his waist and walked him slowly to the
elevator, since the steps were out of the question.

Ken bit onto his lip with each step. He tried
not to lean too hard on Sailor Jupiter, not wanting
to crush her. She knew he was hurting.

Sailor Jupiter ripped part of her fuku and twisited
it into a knot, "Here, bite this." She told him. Ken bit
onto it. Now he didn't have to be afraid of biting his lip
off.

Inch by inch, they made their way to the elevator.
Sailor Jupiter let Ken lean against the wall and pressed the
buttons. After a few minutes, the elevator stopped. Sailor
Jupiter helped Ken back up and walked out the elevator.

There was a feeling of death around the castle. It
was deserted, except for the two of them slowly walking
out.

Looking back, Sailor Jupiter thought the castle
looked lonely, beckoning them to come back.

"What's going to happen to the castle?" She asked.

"In time, it'll crumble. The wind and the rain
will slowly wear it down. Weather has a way of carrying out
the trash." Ken said.

"How are we suppose to get home?" Sailor Jupiter
asked.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you!" Ken slapped his head.
"There's this crystal key on his desk. I think he uses it
for dimension traveling."

Sailor Jupiter held out the crystal she just happened
to pick up, "This?"

"Yes, how did you know?" Ken asked.

"It just looked important so I just picked it up."
Sailor Jupiter handed it to him.

Ken held it tight, and concentrated. Soon, a dark
portal appeared infront of them. It looked kind of scary
to Sailor Jupiter.

	"Ready?" He asked.

	"Ready." Sailor Jupiter said.

Both of them stepped through the portal. The fell onto
Lita's plush carpet.

"Home sweet home!" Sailor Jupiter said happily.

Ken crushed the fragile crystal, breaking it.

"Why did you do that?" Sailor Jupiter asked. She thought
Luna or Artemis would want to see it.

"There's no more use of it. It's evil." Ken said,
his face dark.

"Oh," Sailor Jupiter fingered the hem of her skirt.

"Why don't you change back?" Ken asked. He noticed
Lita still in her fuku.

Lita looked at him, wrapped in a bandage that used
to be her pajamas. "No, I think I'll stay this way for a while."
She smiled.
