Sailor Heart

    --------------------------------------------------------------------
(Author's note. This story takes place a long time after any Sailor
Moon series; specifically
Sailor Moon Stars. Most of the new characters from the show [eg.
Outer Scouts, Starlights
etc.]won't appear because I don't know their mannerisms yet. Having
only watched the N/A dub
of Sailor Moon and the three movies [subbed, of course], I don't feel
that I know the characters
enough to include them. Also, you will notice that the other focal
character [other than Lita] is a
character called Adrian. For those in the know, read on. For those
who don't, Adrian is a Sailor
Scout called Sailor Heart. For a more detailed look at him, please read
"Friends Will Be
Friends" also by me. Although this is a wedding, we've all seen
enough T.V weddings to know
what goes on, so I'll spare you those details. I will however try to give
you some of the thoughts
of the characters.)

The day had come when everything would be put right. Love was
in the air as the feeling
settled itself over the whole city. A Negaverse energy collector would
have had a field day with
the intensity of this pure emotion. The feeling was unusually strong
for one particular couple,
namely Lita Makoto Kino and Adrian Tetsuo Sugano.

"What a beautiful day!" said Artemis as he opened the curtains in
Mina's house.

"Yeah, but not for Lita and Adrian I'll bet," said Mina. "They're
probably both so
nervous that they're running around in circles."

"True. But today is the big day, though." said Artemis. This was
true. After years of
dating and realizing that each was a Sailor Scout, today was the day
that Lita and Adrian were to
be married.

"Hey, look at the time! I'm supposed to be at Lita's helping her
with her gown!" said
Mina.

"It's not good to see the maid of honor running around. I hope Lita
is more calm than
you. You're turning into Serena!" said Artemis with a small laugh but
Mina was already out the
door before she could hear it.

"Well, I best be getting over to Adrian's place. I'm the ring cat,"
and he was off.

"Over at the Sugano household, Adrian was pacing. So many
things to worry about and
not enough time. He had so many questions it would take a miracle to
answer them all. Darian
was at his side trying to calm Adrian down. He was fighting a losing
battle.

"What if she says no?" Adrian blurted out. This was a big concern
for Adrian. He'd
almost lost Lita once. They were out walking when they were attacked
by thugs who managed to
stab and drop Lita. She was out cold for a long time. Millions of
thoughts ran through his head
at the time. He didn't want to lose her again.

"Adrian, if Lita loves you, and believe me she does, she won't say
no." said Darian.

"And even if she does leave you at the altar, you'll still make out
like bandit on wedding
gifts!" said Dan; a nosy next-door neighbor. That remark caused
Adrian to see crimson, but he
calmly walked over to Dan and stood nose to nose with him.

"Thanks for all your help, Dan." said Adrian and promptly
punched him in the middle of
his face with an open hand so that the part that connects the hand with
the arm (just above the
wrist) made contact successfully knocking Dan out.

"Take him home Dar." said Adrian, a little more confident. As
Darian took the poor guy
home, he wondered how a guy like this could be so stupid. He must
have known about Adrian's
temper. Adrian had mentioned him to the others many times, usually
concerning disputes. Poor
guy. He did have it coming though.

Meanwhile, at Lita's apartment, the girls were trying their best to
help Lita get ready.
Raye was doing some stitching, Amy tried to adjust Lita's train and
vail while standing on a
chair. Lita didn't have her hair in her regular ponytail and that made
it all the more difficult for
Amy. Mina was getting the others bridesmaids' dresses ready. Each
dress was a color of the
maid's planet; red for Raye, blue for Amy, pink for Serena and orange
for Mina. As the others

came in to collect their dresses and put them on, Mina was just
zipping her dress up.

"Wow," said Serena. "Mina you are just about the only person who
can make an orange
dress look good."

"Thanks, Serena." said Mina. "I'm just glad it doesn't make me
look like pumpkin."
They all laughed. Lita asked Mina to step into the living room while
the other girls changed.
She had a concerned look on her face. Mina sensed that something
was wrong.

"Mina?" started Lita. "Do you think Adrian will say yes? I mean,
do you think he'll
walk away?"

"Don't you worry." said Mina. "You know Adrian loves you more
than life itself. There
is no way he'd leave you up there all by yourself."

     "You think so?"

"I know so. Look Lita, with the exception of you, I've known him
the longest. I've seen
when he has fallen in love before. He has never fallen so hard as he
has with you. He wants,
more than anything else in this world, to be with you forever. Besides
that, he's probably asking
himself the very same question right now. What if she says no?' "

"Thanks Mina. I guess I just needed someone to re-assure me."

     "Anytime."

The others came out of Lita's bedroom all dressed and ready to go.
Each looked at the
others' dresses and complimented each other. Serena mentioned that
her dress was a little tight
and Mina did a quick stitch job to let it out a bit so that Serena could
breathe. Then the limo
started honking. They all went down into the street and got into the
limo which took them to the
church.

The engine in Adrian's car roared with excitement. The T-Top
Trans Am burst out of
Adrian's garage at full force; almost dropping the fence that stood
beside it. Darian was at the
wheel and he giuded it beautifully through the city. Adrian sat in the
passenger's seat with Greg,
Andrew and Chad in the back.

"All right, this car really rocks, man!" said Chad with the really
thick surfer's accent.

"So where are you going on your honeymoon, eh Adrian?" asked
Greg.

"You're the psychic. You probably already know!" laughed Adrian,
his nerves settling.

"Well for those of us who don't," said Andrew "tell us already."

"Well if you really must know, I'm taking Lita to Aruba for a
couple of weeks. I won
this contest a few months back and since I knew I'd be getting married
in a while..."

"You figured it'd be the perfect honeymoon for you and Lita,
right?" asked Greg.

"That's right. But don't tell Lita or any of the girls. Especially
Serena, Darian." said
Adrian giving Darian a little poke. Adrian knew that if word got to
Serena, the whole world
would know in a matter of minutes. He said so.

"Okay, okay. You're right. I won't say a word." said Darian as he
flew through a green
light. The car did a few more turns until it screeched to a halt outside
the church.

"Sorry, I like to make an entrance" said Darian.

"Yeah, I know." said Adrian awkwardly as he got himself out of
the car. The men were
dressed in black tuxedos with cummerbunds, hankercheifs and bowties
in the color of their
corresponding bridesmaid's dress. Greg wore blue, Andrew wore
orange and Chad wore red.
Darian insisted on wearing white. He said he "didn't look good in
pink." Adrian's accesories
were green in order to pay homage to Lita and the planet Jupiter.

The church was packed with people form both the bride's family
and friends and the
groom's family and friends. At Serena's request, Melvin and Molly
were invited too. The men
were first to arrive and after they mingled with a few people and talked
to the preacher, they took
their spot on the right.

Then the music started. The cats came down first; Artemis on the
right and Luna on the
left. Luna was carrying flowers and Artemis was carrying the rings.
Following the cats were
Amy, Raye Serena and Mina. Then, as the main music started, Lita
came down the aisle.
Everyone rose as she passed their seat until she got to the front.
Adrian wanted to drop his jaw
through the floor, but he managed to contain himself.

"My, what well-trained cats you have." The whole crowd laughed
at that remark,
especially most of the people standing up front. The crowd was seated
at the preacher's request
and he began his speil.

What a lovely bride she is' thought Adrian. I am the luckiest man
in this world or on
the moon.'

Is he ever handsome in that tux.' thought Lita. He's even wearing
green for me and
Jupiter.'

      He made an excellent choice,' thought Andrew.   She is beautiful;
too bad I already have
my girlfriend.' he sighed as he thought of her.

He's finallly got what he's wanted all this time,' thought Mina. A
real loving
relationship and real friends.'

I wonder if Serena will be as beautiful on our wedding day?'
thought Darian. I hope
Serena knows that I still love her.' He smiled at her and she smiled
back.

Ooh,' thought Serena. I can't wait for mine and Darian's
wedding. It'll be so
romantic.'

What really boring music,' thought Chad. Man, if I had my ax
here, I'd blow these
people away. Aw man, why didn't I bring my ax?'

So far so good,' thought Raye. Serena didn't have a klutz attack
on hte way up here and
everything is going all right. No bad vibes from the Negaverse, all in
all a pretty good day.'

Gee, I wonder what Amy's thinking about right now?' thought
Greg. It would sure be
nice if it was she and I up there. Ah well, keep dreaming, Greg, keep
dreaming.' He smiled at
Amy who noticed and smiled back.

This is so beautiful,' thought Amy. I can hardly contain my
emotion.' Tears of joy
bagan to flow down her face.

"And now the moment of truth." said the preacher. There were a
few chuckles at this.
"Do you Adrian Tetsuo Sugano take this woman to be your lawfully
wedded wife?" To Adrian,
that was a very stupid question. It was like saying, Adrian, do you
mind if we pay you ten
millin dollars an hour to do nothing all day?'

"I do." This was it. He had laid every card on the table. It was up
to Lita, now. If she
refused, he'd be heartbroken (no pun intended).

"And do you Lita Makoto Kino take this man to be your lawfully
wedded husband?" It
was like another stupid question for Lita.

"I do." Both she and Adrian sighed. Andrew picked up Artemis so
that Adrian and Lita
could pick up the rings.

"Now, Adrian place the ring on the fourth finger of the left hand
and repeat after me.
With this ring, I pledge my love forever."

"With this ring, I pledge my love forever."

"And Lita, place the ring on the fourth finger of the left hand and
repeat after me, with
this ring, I pledge my love forever."

"With this ring, I pledge my love forever."

"By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and
wife. At the request of
this assembly and of myself, you may now kiss the bride." The crowd
laughed again and Adrian
lifted Lita's veil and kissed her.

The organ music started again and Lita and Adrian turned and
started down the aisle.
The bridesmaids and groomsmen followed. Adrian and Lita got into
the limo along with Mina
and Andrew while the others piled into Adrian's car and followed.
They reached the hall where
the wedding reception was held to find that it had been decorated by
Ms. Haruna and some of her
detention students. Serena, for obvious reasons, wasn't included.

Well into the evening, the crowd was silent at Adrian's request as
he stepped up to the
microphone at the podium..

"I think I can speak for Lita and myself when I say thank you very
much to everybody
who helped make this day very special. I must admit, I have been
carrying a secret that I think
Lita and everyone should know. Some of you already do. Lita hadn't
planned a honeymoon
because I kept putting it off. There was a reason for this. Our
honeymoon had already been
planned. A few months ago I won a trip for two and I figured bacause
I was getting married in a
few months this would be the perfect honeymoon."

"So where are we going?" shouted Lita. She, along with almost
everybody else in the
room, was eagerly anticipating where the couple would be going.

"Okay, okay. We are going to spend two weeks on the beaches of
Aruba!" Lita's jaw
dropped. The crowd cheered and applauded. The reception went on
long into the night. Amy
checked her watch.

"Oh my god. It's four a.m. They're gonna miss their plane." Amy
ran and told Mina
who quickly told Adrian and Lita. They decided then to throw the
bouquet. Mina got up to the
microphone.

"Would all availble, single women report to the dancefloor? Lita
will throw her
bouquet." Mina stepped off the stage as Lita came up. With her back
turned to the crowd, Lita
threw the bouquet over her shoulder. It was caught by Serena who
took seven people down with
her as she made the grab. Mina got back on the mike.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, it's time for the bride and groom to leave,
but please feel free to
stay for awhile. Would the bridesmaids and groomsmen please meet
outside?"

They all met up outside and Lita, Adrian, Mina and Andrew all got
into the limo, while
Amy, Greg, Serena, Chad and Raye got into Adrian's car with Darian
at the wheel. After they
got to the airport and the bags had been checked, it was time to say
goodbye. Hugs and kind
words were exchanged ass the couple was preparing to leave. Adrian
handed Darian his car
keys.

"I'm leaving the car with you for the time that we're gone. You can
use it as often as you
want while I'm not here to drive her."

     "No problem." said Darian.

"Just don't do anything stupid with it." said Lita and they all
laughed. Lita hugged
Serena.

"I figured you'd catch the bouquet. You're next in line, y'know."
They both smiled.

Adrian and Lita made their way through the search area and were
on their way. As the
others stood and watched them leave, they knew that they would stay
together for a long time.
Darian looked at Serena and Serena looked at Darian. Lita was right,
they were the next in line.
And as soon as they were married, Crystal Tokyo would be formed.
Thank goodness there were
people like the Sailor Scouts to help the soon-to-be royal family in
protecting it. Serena put her
head on Darian's shoulder and he held her close. Amy and Greg were
holding hands and Raye
and Chad were talking about several things that caused them to start
fighting. Mina and Andrew
just looked on and wished the newlyweds all the happiness in the
world as the plane sped down
the runway and lifted into the air. They all thought that it had been a
perfect day and knew that
Adrian and Lita Sugano would remain an item till the end of time.
