MINDBREAKERS

The Mindbreakers are an interesting new group involved in this battle. They are a group of men and women who have an odd ability; the power to unlock the potential powers of the Arayashiki, WIZ-DOM, Darklore, E.G.O., and even Eraser factions, as well as to somehow gain control of them. They are not a faction like the other five, since each Mindbreaker has his or her own goals and purposes to achieve, as well as methods to achieve them. This often leads Mindbreakers to battle each other. The victor of such a battle gains the loser's power--the members of Arayashiki, WIZ-DOM, Darklore, E.G.O. and Eraser previously under the loser's control.
UPDATE:

There obviously seems to be differing types of Mindbreakers. They all work by awakening the powers within members of the five factions, or else by improving upon those powers. But that is where the similarities end. No two Mindbreakers operate the same way; To take two observed Mindbreakers:

Kamikurata Kyouta, for example, uses music to influence people. A rival Mindbreaker, Keijii Abuto, uses a laptop and a type of control collar to focus his abilities. I believe that this is all resting solely on the personality of the Mindbreaker, a selfless sort of person prior to this awakening might still remain selfless even after becoming a Mindbreaker. Of course there is also the fact that Kamikurata has a very strong personal attachment to the faction members he has come into contact with; Asumi, Rumiko, and Yoriko for example.
