There are many different place to visit while in old Arus.
Beware though! If by chance, you come upon a fairy you must remember this...
Most faeries see absolutely nothing wrong in kidnapping
humans! Faeries steal women to serve as midwives, and many fae abduct
men and women to be their lovers!
Faeries often dance in circles in the grass which are called faerie rings.
The wild enchantment of the faerie music can lead passersby inexorably towards the ring which,
like a faerie kiss or faerie food and drink, can lead to captivity
forever in the World of Fae. If a human steps into the ring
he is compelled to join the faeries in their wild prancing. The dance might seem to last only
minutes, or an hour or two, or even a whole night but in fact the normal duration would be
seven years by our time and sometimes longer. The captive can be rescued by a friend who, with
others holding his coat-tails, follows the faerie music, reaches into the ring (keeping one foot
firmly outside) and pulls the dancer out.

Here are just a few fun sites I have come across.

Lavendise Wisteria's Realm

Fairy Realm

Faeries are tricky creatures and should be treated with caution.
They are very distrustful of humans and there are not many that they take to in a kindly way.
They think it is very amusing to play mischievous tricks on
the unsuspecting (take for instance the little ones in Chani's adoption center).
Stealing stockings, causing flowers to wilt, and pinching babies
to make them cry are some of their less sinister pastimes.
They have been known to cause
delicate sauces to curdle by the most unsavory practice of
relieving themselves in the sauce pot. Needless to
say it is best to court the favors of this nasty breed in order
to ensure a peaceful and productive household. One can never fully tame these wild woolies
but with a little patience they can become fairly compatible house mates.
