Slayn

Slayn is a sorcerer who lives near Parn's village. He is a veteran of previous campaigns and has settled down to study his magic. Softspoken and introspective, Slayn is hardly a man of action and prefers to remain in the background, content to live on his own. When needed, however, Slayn unleashes the awesome magic at his disposal.

When the goblins attack, Slayn comes to the village's aid. He saves Parn's life and perhaps he senses that Parn is to achieve a greater purpose, so he joins the party when Parn leaves the village. His magic proves to be highly useful and becomes integral to the party's survival.

Although Slayn is a fairly good sorcerer, his magic is not yet fully developed. As the adventure progresses, he finds himself hard-pressed to cope with the dangers they face. Still, Slayn offers his best and uses his magic when and where it counts.
