Dedicated to all the girls in my life

Well, not that I want to sound bitter or anything, but, hey, I've been screwed over pretty badly by some girls in the past. The thing is, I think that I've actually benefited somewhat from those experiences. For instance, I now know that there are no such things as "blood brothers", and that girls these days tend more to want to have fun. There's nothing wrong with that, believe me, because of it I now know to have fun myself. So to everyone of you out there who have hurt me before, now, or perhaps in the future, I say a Thank You!
Recently I was flipping through my friend's annual from last year from my old high school, and I just saw some things that really really brought back memories. Well, anyway, to make a long story short, it's about one of my ex's, Kristina. Only my friends know what happened between us, so if you wanna know, tough luck, go ask someone else. But this poem written by her is pretty heck good, and I think what we had was truly special. Our friendship was great...notice I said "was". Anyway, maybe I'll get off my butt and do something about it. Cause I've realized how precious friends are.

Until the sand of time break free from the hourglass of life, my love for you remains...
If the road you take is the one less travelled by, I will find you, nonetheless.
For in your hands you have my heart and in yourself you have my love.
'Twas you who haunted dreams in which I'd find a love so true
yet only to awake and find myself alone.
I, too, have spent my lifetime searching,
travelling alone, in hope of eternal love but the flame always died out too soon.
As our candle's being lit by the union of pure innocence
I have but one promise to make:
Stars may die, become lost in the black oblivion of space
but I will remain, as constant as the rising sun, with you, for all eternity.
