  • LOOKS LIKE THIS HAS GONE WITH THE WIND! The "Crazy-Man Documentaries" has an interesting slide show of Irian Jaya. Please have a look at the pictures which "cover areas from the Asmat, Kombi, Korowai, and Dani regions of Irian Jaya."
  • LOOKS LIKE THIS, TOO, HAS GONE WITH THE WIND! Please also read an article that covers the last few days of a jungle trek last year during Irian Jaya's worst drought. "My only regret is that more people were not aware of this drought, and sadly this article has never been published to help create this awareness - probably as in the words of Tessa Boase, The London Daily Telegraph, it was "simply too outlandish" for most publications. Outlandish, maybe - but true." says the author.
  • Wim Meeus, a Belgian guy, who visited Indonesia in 1997, has a site with a lot of beautiful pictures. (He told me to add that most of the pictures are taken by Sammy Martens.)
He has also some interesting pictures from Malaysia in 1996.
  • Rick sent me a message where he told that he has a site about Indonesia. I looked through it and found it quite interesting. There is some material which is rather critical towards the government here, so I hesitated whether I'd put it here or not. I do not always agree with the Indonesian government, but I don't want to overthrow it, either! Please go to Rick's site.
