And after Shampoo (and a couple of others), the next babe from China is Raichi. A long time ago, Happousai had sold her grandmother half of a scroll, the legend being that the holder would be married to the bearer of the other half. Years of endless waiting however, precipitated Raichi's trip to Japan in search of Happousai. As fate would have it, while at the Tendo Residence, the scroll managed to end up in Akane's lap just as Kirin, the man Raichi had been searching for appeared. This would lead the whole Ranma gang to China, seeking to rescue Akane, and Raichi looking to grab hold of Kirin once and for all. Raichi would eventually follow Ranma as he battled the 7 Fukujin (7 Deities of Luck). She later wished to continue her search for her Prince Charming, but apparantly decided to give Kirin a chance as he locked her with his "Please Stay" glare. Furthermore, She was the one in possession of the other half of the scroll just as Kirin's palace came crashing down, which gave Kirin an obligation to marry her.
Jasmine is Raichi's pet elephant. Can't say much about her, cept' that she and Muu have something going on between them. This was what allowed Ranma and Rachi to pass this unmovable Deity, so let's all not forget to thank the elephant now.
