Using URLs is relatively easy as long as you remember one simple rule:

Although there are several different types of URLs, they all tend to work the same way --

First, enter the type of URL you want to connect to (e.g. : http, ftp).

Then, after this, place the host server name (e.g.: www.ibm.net ).

Finally the path and resource you want to access. (index.html ).

That is all there is to URLs.
