ADALINE AND JAY CHUA

Clawie and Maui, two female Singapore cats, were rescued by Adaline and Jay Chua, who took them off-street and adopted them.
Clawie was the sole survivor of a litter of 4 found at the Whampoa market by Adaline when they were 5 days old, in June 1998.. They had all been separated from their mother by one of the cleaning staff.
Maui was found by a friend of Adaline in Choa Chu Kang and given to her when she was about two months old. As she was the same age as Clawie, they got on fabulously!

Clawie and Maui share a bond that they do not share with the two other cats living with the Chua family. They are both approx. 2 1/2 years old now and they live happily with Adaline and Jay.

**MAUI & CLAWIE**
	Maui and Clawie 6 months old snuggling together.... they look so precious in that picture! Clawie (right) is a very vocal cat, especially when she knows she is being kept out of some places. There were occasions when Clawie would use her head (literally) to bang her way out of the backyard. She likes to lick condensation on glasses, sit on top of the TV and wail piteously in the middle of the night. She also likes to lick Polo mints. Maui (left) is a dog-like cat. She will welcome Adaline and family at the door by doing her strange 'collapsing' act. Then she will wait for one of the family to crunch up a ball of paper and throw it around for her to chase. She luuuves potato chips and she is also the best cockroach detector in the world. However, she really dislikes when comes the time to going to the vet or bath time, and she shows! Maui and Clawie, two really happy cats part of the Chua family...

**HEIDI**
	Clawie and Maui both live with Adaline, her hubby, and a third cat- Heidi (see left)- in Moulmein area. The fourth cat, Disney (silver shaded chinchilla fur), resides at the office at Mohamed Sultan Road.
