                                              BEACH CATS

Sea view from the East Coast ParkOn the East Coast Park, along the shore of Singapore Island, a piece of land near the sea  with some   green and trees is open to the public for recreation. Rather long, it stretches for miles along the sea and beaches towards the Eastern part of the island. It's a  recreation and outdoor place for outings, keeping also some places for fishers, with piers, sea access and small boats.

Sea spot along the East CoastIf you look closely, you'll see small communities of cats surviving from the food they can find near the fishermen, or near the recreational spots. They are sometime called the "beach cats" or "fisher's cats". We present here a collection of photos taken by the "beach lady" who gives some cares to some of these cats, and was concerned about their survival. She managed to sterilize a lot of them and to find adoption homes for some as well. Ask to the cats, they know her well...

Giving help and care to the small colony of cats, living near the beach, is part of the attention given by the "beach lady" to the cats' problems in Singapore.
Most of these East Coast cats became her friends, and she visits them regularly.
Great job!
