ANTHEA

Anthea adopted Pasht when she was still a young cat, 6 months old,  one of the two kittens rescued by a Japanese family who found them in 1990 in the Holland Road area. Pasht lived then with Anthea and could experience grass for the first time at the Bukit Timah  area. A few months later  the family relocated to a house in the Dover area, were they stayed for six years. It's in this location that Pasht learned to distinguish trees from lampposts...       It was Anthea's daughter- then 10 years old- who was calling the small cat Pasht, this following an unusual form of the word "Bastet" which is the name of the Egyptian cat goddess.

During 1997, after one more year in the Buona Vista area, the family had to relocate in the UK; this was a major change in the life of Pasht. She had to stay in quarantine for six months in York, but fortunately this centre was excellent and Pasht did not suffer too much during her separation from Anthena. Pasht then stayed with Anthea in Leeds (UK). In her new house there, Pasht was still looking for geckos behnd pictures, but soon learned about central heating  (a must there... and a real cat's friend)

In 2006, after a very good life with Anthea and her family, Pasht passed away. She is still in the memories of her human friends. Anthea does not have another cat for the time being. Anyway she told us that should she adopt one, it will never be a breed but an abandoned cat.

PASHT
Pasht - Ready to play
Friendly and very vocal, Pasht was a very good companion.
She was well-behaved and very very tame. Gentle to all humans, even vets... Still a little shy with strangers. Pasht had also cat friends in other houses.

Talkative : When Pasht  was  dirty or had a small cut, she would come to tell Anthea and family, expecting them to clean or to apply antiseptic. She liked very much to be brushed, even on her tummy.

Female Ten years Mixed  Dark silver grey - some white areas Talkative long tail
