NERV OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Misato Katsuragi, age 29 is the Evangelion pilots' superior officer and is responsible for the operations of the whole NERV headquarters whenever Commander Gendo Ikari is not present. Misato has only one goal in life: to destroy the angels the killed her father during the Second Impact. Misato becomes Shinji's guardian. An attractive woman with a seemingly cheerful and optimistic personality, she is a lover of beer and fast food. Misato is also the only living human being to have witnessed the Second Impact first hand and survived.
