Prologue
Serena woke up early, for once, went upstairs to the living room and
turned on the TV. She sat down on the couch, and flipped through the channels.
"Your up early." Serena was startled by the voice from behind her.
"Yeah, I woke up about ten miutes ago and can't get back to sleep. Why
are you up this early?" Richard sat down next to her.
"I haven't been to sleep yet. Have a lot of things on my mind." Richard
took the remote away from her and pressed play.
"Maybe if you talk about it, you can get it off your chest."
"No, it's none of your concern."
"G'mornin' Richard." An Australian accent came from behind him.
"Morning Tureti." The cat jumped up next to him.
"What's going on?"
"We're just talking. I hear some of the others stirring, I'll go make
something to eat." Richard stood up from his sofa and went into the kitchen.
"Has hell frozen over? Serena's up before anyone else?" Serena turned
and stuck her tongue out at Rei.
"What's this?" She asked looking at the TV.
"I don't know, Richard just hit the play button, then went to make some
breakfast." She sat back and watched the previews.
"I smell something good." Serena and Rei turned to see Lita coming up
the stairs. "Smells almost as good as my cooking."
"I heard that!" Richard looked through the doorway with a smile.
"Sorry." Lita laughed.
Over the next ten minutes, the rest of the group woke up and came out.
The opening credits hadn't ended by then. When Mina, the last one up, and came
out the movie started. Every one was crammed into the 12' by 13' room.
Richard came out and knelt by the VCR. He turned on a stereo system which
increaced the volume quite a bit.
"Lita, could you help me?" Richard asked as he went into the other room.
"Sure." She got up and walked into the kitchen.
Chris and Maury started laughing when the title came up. UHF. Everyone
looked at them.
"Turn on that TV above the micro." Richard said flipping a piece of
French Toast. There were about three loaves worth laying on a plate next to
him. Lita turned the television on, and walked over to him.
"What do you need my help with?" She asked.
"A few things. Could you get a few plates out of that cupboard?" He
pointed to one above his right shoulder. She walked over and pulled out eleven
china plates, the only ones in there, and set them in no particular order, on
the table. "Next, could you get some silverware out of this drawer?" He said
pointing to one next to him. She went over and got the same amount of knives
and forks from it. "Third, how does this taste?" He gave her a piece of
what he was cooking. "And finally, tell me all you know about Mina." Lita
turned and looked at him strange.
"Why did he ask her?" Maury said, a hint of jealosy in his voice.
"Probably wanting cooking help." Chris said, not taking his eyes from
the screen.
"Hey Kuni! Beginners class today, huh?"
"Yeah. They're so stupid!" A man was thrown out of a window next to
Kuni. "STUPID!"
"Is this supposed to be funny?" Ami asked, while the rest of the group
was cracking up. Everyone turned to look at her. "Nevermind." She got up
and went into the kitchen.
"We demand to speak to the lord of this manor." Sun said.
"Demands will be met with force." The guard laughed looking at these
two small humans, less that one third of his size.
"Sun, Let me handle this." Fatal stepped forward. "You can let you
master know that Fatal and Sailor Sun are here to honor him with our presance,
or I could walk in holding your head as my trophy." The huge guard let out an
even louder laugh.
Fatal glanced back to his companion, then back to the creature. With
incredible speed and accuracy, his weapon had severed every limb on the guard.
Fatal did as he said he would and walked in holding the things head.
"Is that what you wanted to know?" Lita said serving a few pieces of
toast onto a plate.
"Yeah, thanks. Hi Ami, sleep well?" Richard said as he saw Ami enter.
"Yes, thanks. Where is the bathroom?" She asked.
"Last door at the end of the hall." She left the room.
"Why do you want to know about her?" Lita asked.
"I can give three examples. Serena and Darien, you and Maury, and Chris
and my sister. Does that answer your question?" Lita smiled and finished
filling the plates.
"Where's the syrup?" She asked. Richard pointed to the cupboard beneath
the sink. She walked out into the living room. "Anyone hungry?" She was
nearly trampled as they rushed through the doorway.
Chapter 1
"So they went to America, and they didn't take us. I'll remember that."
Artemis was following Luna downstairs.
"We can't contact them if anything happens here. I mean the lords may
have some things here, we haven't found." Artemis said.
"I am aware of that, we'll just have to wait for their return." Luna
said as she curled up on a chair.
"That was good, my compliments to the chef." Mina got up and looked
around. "Where should I put this?"
"In the sink." Richard said. "Now Chris, wanna swap software?" He
turned toward Chris and started asking a few more questions. They both got
up and were followed by Maury, Lynn, and Ami. Chris retrieved his laptop and
then went to Richard's room. First thing he saw was the monitor.
"Haven't you seen a 21" monitor before? Nevermind, lets see what would
you like, games, a new OS, programs, what?"
"Hey Mina, what do you think of our host?" Lita asked.
"Which one?" She said.
"Richard. What do you think?"
"He's nice, a bit like Chris, I don't know. Why?" Mina looked over at
Lita with a slight smile on her face.
"Yeah Lita, why do you want to know?" Andrea asked putting her dishes
in the sink.
"He likes her." Lita pointed at Mina.
"I think I'll go see what the others are doing." Darien got up.
"Is that why he called you in here?" Rei asked.
"Part of it, he needed some help with preparing the meal."
"Anyone interested in a playing a game? It's boring with just two
people." Richard asked. "I've got seven computers hooked up to a network."
"Which game?" Maury and Chris asked.
"Pick one, better yet, lets let the lady pick one." He gave her a
stack of about 20 CDs.
"Why me?" She asked.
"Curtosey, just pick one, even if you don't wanna play." She looked
through them and tossed one to him.
"Any objections to Quake?" He looked around. And saw Darien standing
behind the others. "Didn't know you had an interest in computers. Wanna join
us?" He held the game up so that Darien could see it.
"Sure, but there's only one computer in here." He said pointing to
the CPU.
"Okay, Darien, go down stairs with Maury and Ami. There should be three
down there. The games are next to the speakers. Lynn, go to yours. Chris,
wanna take this one, or hook your laptop up?"
"I'll use this one." Richard stood and left the room. He went to the
unit in the kitchen.
The girls had just finished their conversation when they saw Darien,
Maury, and Ami go down stairs. Then Richard came into the kitchen.
"Let's see, I think the Offspring will work fine." He turned the
computer on, opened the CD-ROM and popped in a disc. Still talking to himself
he started the program. "Now then, there are six of us, that means two reaper
bots." He punched a few things in and started.
The group at the table sat there looking at him. He turned his head.
"Yes?" He looked at the girls, who were trying to keep from laughing.
"Nothing." Mina got up walked over and kissed him. Then left the room.
He sat there for about five minutes, stunned at what just happened. He shook
it off and looked at his screen. He had already died.
"That's it." He started typing something: "Your dead Fiss!" And took
off through the level.
"So you're the ruler of the palace?" Fatal stood in front of a very
tall and well built lord.
"My appologies for the guards, they did not know who you were." The
large man dropped to one knee in front of Fatal.
"Get us some rooms and I'll overlook that. We need some rest."
The master of the house sent one of his servants to prepare some rooms
for the new residents.
"I have some regeneration areas that have just been built, you look like
you could use it." Lord Beryl told a servant to take them to one of the areas.
"After we heal, I'm going ater them."
After a few hours of play everyone got bored.
"So what does everyone want to do?" Richard queried.
"What's this town got as recreation?" Darien asked
"ERIE?!?!" Richard said laughing. "You didn't see what it looked like
when we came in last night, did you? This town is seven streets by eight
streets, three paved. What kind of recreation do you think we have here?"
"I see. What about the nearest town?"
"Laugh at, I'm sorry, Lafayette? or Longmont? Laugh at's got a rec
centre. Longmont's got a mall, a few movie theaters, and a laser tag arena."
"Longmont anyone? I haven't seen an American movie in a long time, I
mean without subtitles. Anyone disagree?" Darien said getting up.
"I want to go to the mall." Rei said, and was backed up by Mina, Lita,
and Serena.
"Why not split into two groups? I've got a few cars in the garage.
Well, only two. I'll take the girls shopping, Lynn you take the others to the
movies."
"Why not go to the thater in the mall?" Lynn said.
"Oh, yeah. Well, we'll go to the mall." Richard led the group out to
the garage. Lynn, you take the van, I'll take the Mustang." He lifted the
garage door. "Mina, Maury, Lita, your riding with me." The others looked at
him. "What, we were in the Negaverse for a while, people develop bonds in
that kind of stress." He went over to the passenger door and opened it for
Mina, but Lita sat down before he could say anything. Maury scowled at him.
After everybody got strapped in, they started the drive.
"Music anyone?" Richard said turning the radio on, and adjusting it to
106.7. "Any objections?" Nobody said a word.
They arrived at the mall about 20 minutes later, everybody piled out and
formed the two groups. Richard, Mina, Lita, Rei, Serena, Ami, and Andrea went
around the mall shopping. The others caught a movie at the theater.
"Any good store's here?" Rei asked.
"A few, depends on what you want." Richard said walking a little behind
the girls.
"Clothes?"
"Sorry, can't help you there. I normally go to a different mall to get
those. Go ahead and check some out, lets meet there in about an hour."
Richard said pointing to the food court.
"Okay, come on." Serena ran towards the closest store with clothing.
Mina lingered behind.
"What, aren't you gonna go with them?" Richard asked.
"Not yet. I'd rather talk with you." Mina stepped closer to him.
"I don't want to talk right now, I'm sorry if I seem rude." He turned
and walked towards the arcade. She followed.
"That was refreshing." Fatal stepped out from the beam of light. He
walked down the hallway towards Beryl's chamber.
"Lord Beryl! How do we get back to the Universe?" He entered the
throne room and was greeted by the lord.
"Why do you want to go there?"
"Revenge."
Chapter 2
Richard walked into the arcade and got some tokens. Mina walked a
little behind him trying to keep out of his sight. He walked up to Soul Edge
and started playing.
"Your pretty good." Mina said walking up behind him.
"Thanks, your not so bad yourself."
"Was that a come on?"
"Would you like it to be?" She pulled him away from the game and gave
him a very passionate kiss. "I take that as a yes." He said surprised.
"I'll meet back with you over there in a little while." She said walking
away.
"Okay." He turned back to his game and couldn't concentrate, got killed
a few times, so he left and started looking through the mall.
"Andrea, have you seen Lita?" Richard asked when he saw her.
"I think I saw her going into Sears."
"Thanks." He ran off towards the department store. He found her near
the tool section. "What're you doing here?"
"Just looking." Lita wasn't looking at the tools, she was looking at
the furniture nearby.
"I was wondering about Mina, what's her favor..." Richard saw the
rippling effect that happens before a portal opens.
"What her what is?" She looked over to Richard and saw him staring
behind her. She turned and saw the rippling. "What should we do?"
"Can't transform, too many people around. I've got an Idea. Come." He
ran over to the power tools. "Take one." He handed Lita a battery powered
nail gun.
"I think this is a little much, don't you think?" Lita asked taking it
from him.
"Nope, this'll work just fine." He said putting a few nails in his.
"Okay." She started filling hers up. The vortex opened. Fatal stepped
out dressed in the same style suit that Zoicite and her comrades used to wear.
"Could Queen Beryl have survived?" Lita asked herself.
"Who?" Richard let a few nails go.
"Tell ya later." She let a few of her own go.
"AAAAAAARRRRGGGHHH!" Fatal let out a blood curtling cry as the nails
hit him. "Knightfall, you'll pay for that." Fatal activated his power to
change things. "This metal will be a good weapon." He changed it's shape
into a sword.
"Uh oh." Richard grabbed Lita's arm and ran for the nearest door into
the mall. "We gotta find the others, I'll go to the theater and get the guys."
They split up outside the store, and searched for the others.
"Gotta find a secluded spot." He ran into the corridors between the
different shops. "Mars Jewel...POWER!" He ran out and headed for the theater.
"Did you see a group of three guys come in here, one was Asain." The
lady at the front nodded. "Which movie, give me a ticket for that one."
He threw a twenty through the money hole. Grabbed the ticket and ran into the
theater.
"Light." The jewel on Richard's gauntlet lit up slightly enough for him
to see his freinds on the first row. He ran down there and sat down next to
Chris.
"I thought you were escorting the girls around."
"Were having a bit of trouble. Fatal's back."
"What!" The entire group of people in the theater yelled at him to be
quiet. "We gotta get outta here and stop him."
"We need to join with the girls first, lets go." Richard got up and ran
back outside, followed by Maury, Darien, Lynn, and Chris. "Transform, we can't
wait to find a hidden spot."
They all went through their own transformation and had drawn quite a
crowd. "There's Rei and Serena, let go."
The small group ran towards where the girls were shopping, and didn't go
unnoticed. A security guard saw the group, and saw their weapons.
"Fatal's back." Chris said as he ran up to them. They didn't need an
invitation.
"Moon Crystal POWER!"
"Mars Star POWER!"
"Why not use the comunicator to get the others?" Rei asked. She opened
her wrist-com.
"Ami, Lita, Mina, we need your help. Fatal's has come back."
"Rei, he's here? I'm on my way." Ami's voice came over the speaker.
"I see you guys, I'll be right there." The group could see the light
from her transformation. A few seconds later she ran up.
"I know, I'm looking for Andrea right now."
"Hurry, Fatal's just seen us. We can't stay here, we'll try to get to
the parking lot." Rei shut the comlink off.
"You try to kill me, but how can you kill that which is immortal?"
"I like your new look, burnt skin is in nowdays." Richard drew his
scimitars, Chris drew his blades, Lynn reached for his longsword.
"You'll rue the day you did this to me." He drew the blade that he made
from the nails, and a few other things.
"What happened to him, he bleeding like mad." Serena asked when she saw
the red stains on him.
"Lita and I ran into him earlier, there were some nail guns nearby, you
can picture the rest." Richard brought his swords infront of him in a cross.
"Let's get to the parking lot."
"Mercury Ice Bubbles. FREEZE!" Ami sent the attack towards Fatal.
"Now let's go." Richard led them to the closest exit. He went out into
the parking lot and looked for an area to ambush Fatal.
"She'll be killed third. NEGATE!" The ice covering Fatal melted, he
walked out the exit he saw the soldiers go through.
"Who's first?" He stepped towards the group of five. "Some of your
team is missing. That means, Richard is right there," He pointed to a small
car parked nearby, "And a few are on the roof."
"Wrong!" Chris ran out from behind him, and left another wound on his
arm.
"Fatal, your not gonna live that long if you continue to be so cocky."
"Huh, huh, huh, huh. You said cock." Richard looked over to Maury and
Chris. They just smiled.
"Oh, I'm not being arrogant." Almost all of the group laughed at this.
"RECONSTRUCTION!" The soldiers looked at him as he began to glow. He looked
towards the small band, it looked as if his eyes were burning. Fatal held his
hand out in front of him, all the energy was forced to his appendige.
"Let's see how you like the pain I felt." He aimed his hand towards the
closest member. Rei. The pale bolt hit her. Rei fell to the ground
convulsing, Fatal smiled.
Chris saw this and charged. Before he got there, Fatal opened a gate
and stepped through.
"COME BACK HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!" Chris tried throwing an attack into the
portal, but Fatal's negating effect was still active. Chris put his katana
away when the portal closed and went over to Rei.
He looked around to his new friends and asked, "Can any of you help?"
"Serena, try your wand." Tuxedo Mask suggested.
"I'll try, but I'm not sure it'll work." She got her wand and took a
few steps away from Rei.
"Moon...Crystal...Healing...ACTIVATION!" When the powers of the Silver
Crystal touched Rei, she stopped convulsing.
"Did it... Did it work?" Chris felt Rei's neck. There was a pulse.
"We need to get her to a hospital, find out what he did."
"It'll take a while to get there, get her in the car."
"That's on the other side of the mall."
"Just do it." Chris said.
"Did we miss anything?" Lita and Andrea came running out of the
building, they stopped when they saw Mars on the ground.
"Lynn, get the car." Richard tossed the keys to Shock. Lynn used his
ability to join with electricity and went over the mall.
A few minutes later the car came around the corner. Chris, Ami, Richard
got in the car, and loaded Rei into the back seat.
"Lynn, we'll be at Avista. Get them there ASAP. Don't revert either."
with that Richard stepped on the gas and started for the hospital.
"Where have you..." Sailor Sun looked at Fatal as he limped in,
transformed! "You've never had a limp while in your princely state."
"That's before Richard and some bitch shot me with some nails." He went
down the hallway that the servant had taken them down earlier. He entered a
small room. "I'll be recouperating." He shut a door.
"I think I'll find out a little more about what's going on." She got up
and went to a small alcove and grabbed a black crystal.
"It's as if some of her internal organs have been removed." Ami was
scanning Rei with her computer.
"What do you mean 'removed?'" Chris asked.
"I mean that there is no trace of them in her body. She can live
without the one's that were removed thoguh." Chris let out a sigh of relief
when he heard this.
"There's no internal bleeding, I don't think we need to go to the
hospital." Ami shut her computer.
"Better safe than sorry." Richard said, doing a hundred down the road.
"What happened?" Andrea asked.
"As you know, Fatal's back. He shot Rei with some kind of beam and she
fell over thrashing. Then he hightailed it out of here. Serena used her
wand on her to try and heal her. Were not sure if it worked." Mina said in
one breath.
Sun appeared over the speeding car. She followed it until it reached
the hospital.
"What have you done now?" She looked as they dragged Rei out of the car,
then carried her into the emergency room. She landed and walked in after them.
"So Lynn, you know more about Fatal than we do. What was that he did to
her?" Darien asked.
"He has the ability to chage the very structure of molocules. Changing
anything to anything. He probably hit her with one of those, but I've never
seen him throw it." Lynn was a pulling into the parking lot of Avista.
"Go." He stopped in front of the ER's entrance and let his passengers
out. He went and parked the van.
"What are you doing here?" Chris had drawn his katana and held it
against Sun's throat.
"I came to see the damage Jeremy had caused." She looked beyond him to
Rei. "I could help her you know." She smiled.
"She can, you saw what she did to Fatal. She could do the same for Rei."
Richard walked up to Chris.
"Help her if you can, but I'll hunt you and your boyfriend down if she
dies." He lowered his katana.
Sun walked over and stood in front of Mars. Healing Li...AAAAAGGHH!"
She was cut short by a blast of stars hitting her left flank.
"Maury. Guys. Stop, she's helping Rei." The group stopped confused.
The staff of the hospital had already called the police. And were not
believing what they were watching.
Sailor Sun got up and dusted herself off. She glared at Maury, then
turned back towards Rei. "Healing Light!" Like before she raised her palms
and the light engulfed Rei. When the light died down, Rei stood there, awake.
"What's going on?" She looked around. She saw Sun, and lost it.
Rei's attacks hit Sun hard and she again fell. Chris grabbed her and
held her back. "Let me go!" She tried struggling out of his grasp.
"She helped heal you." When Chris said this she stopped struggling and
turned.
"What?"
"She healed you." Rei turned back towards Sun.
"If that's the way you treat people who save your life, I'd hate to try
to endanger it again." With that she got up and dissapeared through a gateway.
"Someone explain to me what's going on."
Chapter 3
The group cleared out of the hospital quickly when they heard what the
nurses were talking about. The police.
"Where to now?" Lynn asked.
"What time you got?"
"4:30."
"Head home, my home. Not yours."
The two vehicles drove away from the healing centre pretty fast. About
half an hour later, they arrived back at Richard's house.
"Okay, for those of you that don't know. There are four TVs, seven
computers, three laptops, and a ton of movies. Choose what you want to do and
make yourselves at home." Richard walked down to his room and layed down on
his bed.
He could hear Chris and Maury joking around. Then he heard the doorbell.
"Oh crud." He got up went down the hall to the stairs. At the bottom, he
opened the door. It was some door to door sales man.
Richard went back up the stairs and went down to his room. Mina was
sitting on his bed.
"Yes?" He asked slowly.
"Nothing." She smiled and layed down. Richard shrugged and went over
to his computer. Mina adjusted her position so she was facing towards the
screen. Richard popped a cd into the ROM drive and put some headphones on.
Mina just layed there watching him work for a few hours, then she fell
asleep. Richard worked for a few hours after. He turned the computer off and
got up. He looked at Mina Lying on the bed, grabbed a nearby blanket and
covered her. Then moved his computer chair and layed down.
"That took longer than last time. Was it that much worse?" Sun sat in
one of the chairs in their chambers.
"I fell asleep. I feel a hell of a lot better now though. Think I'll
get my revenge soon. I tasted it earlier, I got the red one with a changing
blast." Fatal sat down on the bedside and leaned back stretching.
Sun sat there thinking, not really listening to her companion.
"You remember that house Beryl was the most powerful in the Negaverse?
What happened?" She asked, cutting him off.
"I don't really know. As I understand it, Metallia was the main reason
they were so powerful. And after she was destroyed helping Queen Beryl, they
were over thrown."
"Interesting." She replied.
The next morning, Serena was the first one up again. She did what she
did the previous morning, turned on the TV and watched cartoons. Lita woke a
little later. Then Darien, Andrea, Rei, and so on.
Mina woke up and yawned. She looked around and noticed she was still
in Richard's room. She looked around and saw him sleeping on the floor. She
got up and walked out of his room.
A few of the people noticed her coming down the hall, instead of coming
upstairs. Imediatly, they got the wrong idea.
She sat down next to Maury. "What's this." She said yawning.
"Animaniacs." Lynn said. "It's a fairly popular show here."
Rei had seen her come down the hall. "Aren't those the same clothes
you had on yesterday?" She asked suspiciously. Mina looked at her clothes
and then to Rei.
"So, I didn't change. What smells so good?" Mina asked sniffing the
air.
"Lita's cooking." Serena said.
Ami came up the stairs next. "Mina, where were you last night? Your
bed hasn't been slept in?" Everybody turned towards Mina.
"I fell asleep watching Richard work on the computer, what's wrong with
that?" She said angrily.
Lita came in from the other room. "Breakfast!"
Richard woke up a few hours after the group had finished eating. He
came down the hallway and went into the kitchen.
"Morning." Rei said.
"Hi." Richard walked over to the sink and gabbed a bottle from under-
neath it. He filled his cup, then put it in the microwave for a minute or so.
"How'd you sleep?" Rei asked sipping a cup of tea.
"Not so well, Mina was on the bed." The micro let out it's beep and
Richard took his drink out. Richard just realized what this sounded like.
"I slept on the floor." He said quickly as he turned and walked to the
fridge. "Nothing happened." He got out some creamer and poured some into
his mug.
"I didn't take it that way." Rei lied.
"Good," he said sipping his Postum, "Where is everybody?"
"Downstairs, except Lynn, he went home."
"Hey, Richard. I'm a father." Richard looked and saw Tureti sitting in
the doorway, prouder than a peacock.
"That's great, how many?"
"Three. You should see them, but Scarlet's a little overprotective,
she wont even let me see them. I caught a glimpse of them, but that was it."
"That sucks. Well, I think she needs you more than we do." Richard
finished off his drink while Tureti left the room.
"I'm going down there to see what's going on." Richard put his cup in
the dishwasher and walked out of the room, Rei followed him.
"What's going on down here?" Richard came down the stairs and saw Ami,
Serena, Andrea, Darien, Lita, and Mina watching a movie. He saw Maury playing
on one of the computers. He figured that Chris was in another room, playing
against Maury.
"Nothing much, come on and watch." Mina invited him to sit next to her.
Richard accepted.
"Richard, I've been wondering something. Where did you get the money
to buy all this stuff?" Mina whispered in his ear.
"Well, when my parents were killed, they left me this house. And quite a
large sum in a bank account. They also had me emancipated, part of their will,
but, I get a check from the bank every month and a letter saying where this
money went and that money went. Bills mostly. But that's how I got most of
this stuff."
She sat back and thought about this for a while, then went back to
watching the movie.
"One question, when are you guys supposed to go back to Japan?" Richard
asked. Mina shrugged.
"I'll go ask Chris, he's the one that got us here." She got up and went
to an adjoining room. Richard scooted closer to Lita.
"I was cut off asking this yesterday, but what is Mina's favorite gem?"
Lita seemed surprised at the question. But she did answer, "Topaz.
Why?"
"I don't think that is any of your concern." With that he got up and
went up stairs. The door slammed. A few seconds later an engine could be
heard.
"We're here 'til... Where'd he go?" Mina looked at the spot where
Richard had sat.
"He left, I don't know why." Lita said.
"Where'd you go?" Mina asked when Richard ran up the stairs. The others
were waiting there too.
"I'll tell you later, when there's a little more privacy." He looked at
the mass gathered in the living room. "Lita, wanna make dinner?"
"Sure." Lita got out of her chair and went into the kitchen and started
making something from what she found in the cupboards.
Richard went down to his room. He closed the door and locked it. He
took out the small box and hid it in a secret compartment in his closet floor.
The phone rang.
"For the last time. I don't want any!" He answered.
"Hey Richard, what's going on?" Lynn asked.
"Nothing much, got a few things on my mind. Thought blasting a few
daemons away would help." Richard went over to his computer and turned it on.
"Well, I was just wondering if you had any contact from Fatal or Sun
today?"
"None as of yet, but it's only 5:00. I hope he doesn't attack."
"Me either. Well call me if you get any contact."
"Seeya." Richard hung up the phone and started crusing through his
database. A knock came at the door.
"Who?"
"Mina. I just wanted to let you know, the tickets Chris got are for the
15th. So we've two days left."
"Thanks, come get me when Lita's finished making dinner." He continued
typing on the keyboard.
"I have a bad feeling about this." The girl walked through a dense
forest. "I must find my goal though." She continues on looking for any
posible clues that might help her. "Aaahh." She saw something sticking out
of the ground.
"I've finally found it. After months of searching I have it back."
The girl pulled the wand out of the ground. "This is my ticket out of here."
Chapter 4
"Dinner's ready." A voice came from the door.
"Thanks, I'll be out in a second." Richard saved his game and shut down
his computer. He unlocked his door and walked to the kitchen. Lita had made
some pasta with marinara.
"This tastes good Lita." Maury said after swollowing a bite.
"Thanks, help yourself Rich."
"Please don't call me that." He grabbed a plate and served himself. He
walked into the living room and turned on the TV. A few of the others
followed.
"What time do you have to leave Chris?" Richard asked between bites.
"About 7:00 p.m." Chris said.
"I'll go with you if you don't mind." Richard said. Chris looked back
at him strangley.
"Okay, I'll get you a ticket." Chris said turning forward again.
"Make sure it's one way." Chris looked back at him, as did the rest of
the people in the room.
"What?" They asked.
"Fatal, why are you pacing around like that?" Fatal walked back and
forth in his chamber. Sailor Sun was also there.
"I am thinking of what to do to the Sailors." He looked up. "I have it.
remember when the first fights started? Remember Queen Beryl? She had a
group of generals, some were killed, I know of one who survived." Sun looked
intrigued. "Jadeite."
"There's nothing for me here anymore. Now that I've found you guys, I
can't stay here." Richard said.
"What about this house? And your friends?" Ami asked.
"I've thought about it, and I want to go with you. But before we leave,
there are a few places I'd like to take all of you. But that will have to
wait for tomorrow." Richard got up and went into the kitchen and set his
plate in the sink. He walked down to his room and was unsurprised to see Mina
sitting on his bed.
"Same as last night?" Richard asked.
Mina shrugged. "If you want, but I was lonly sleeping all alone on your
bed." Richard eyed her.
"Maybe, but it's still early." He walked over to the computer and turned
it on. Someone knocked on the door. "Come in."
"Hey, wanna play on the network?" Ami asked. Richard was surprised to
hear her say that.
"Sorry, I've got some things I need to work on." He turned to the screen
as Ami closed the door.
"So what do you do when your not fighting?" Mina asked.
"Mostly nothing, you've seen my video collection. I have net access.
Nothing that exciting." He turned around and faced her.
He stared at her for a long moment.
Then he turned back to the computer and started typing. Mina couldn't
read what was on the screen. Richard got up and left the room. Mina got
closer and read what was on the screen. She smiled as she finished reading
it.
Richard came back into the room a few minutes later. He sat back in
front of the computer. Mina leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek. He
turned, smiled, and took her in a deep embrace.
"Let's see, how do we work this thing again?" The girl had found the
spot she had first appeared at. A small door. "What's on the other side of
you?" She raised the wand into the air.
After a a few minutes, they broke away from each other.
"I knew it." Mina said.
"Knew what?" Richard looked a little confused.
"That you did like me." She smiled.
"You should have know that ever since you talked with Lita yesterday.
I'm more observant than most people think." He smiled then went back to the
screen. Mina layed there, a little dumbfounded.
"Oh and there's this." Richard got up, went over to his closet and
pulled the floor board out of the floor to reveal the hiding spot.
"Here, don't say anything to me tonight. Tell me in the morning." He
shut the computer off and turned back to her. "You want the bed? Or should
I take take it?"
"Mina looked at the contents of the box. Then up to Richard. "Both."
Fatal walked quickly down the hall towards Lord Beryl's bed chamber.
"Beryl! I need your assistance."
"Who ever has woken me shall pay dearly." The door open, when the lord
saw Fatal standing there, his visage went from anger, to fear.
"Forgive me." Beryl said.
"Not now, I need the use of one of your daughter's generals. The one
that wasn't killed."
"Jadeite? Just ask any of my servants, they'll take you there."
"No, you'll show me." Fatal's face began to look irritated.
"Yes, I will take you myself." The master came out and walked down the
hall. Leading Fatal to his prize.
"Earth Power!" Jessica let the long foreign words come out her mouth.
the ground beneath her shifted and started closing in around her. She was
trapped inside a sphere of dirt. Then it crumbled away, and she stood there,
ready to leave this place.
"Let's see if I can remember my powers."
"Lava WAVE!" She aimed it towards the door that had kept her in this
place. The ground seemed to melt, leaving a trail of molten earth in it's
wake. It hit the door, and it burst into flames.
"Alright! Now to leave." She walked over to the hole, and stepped
through.
A knock on his door came around 7:30. Richard got up and opened the
door.
"Richard, he's back. And this time, he's got help." Chris said.
Richard's eyes went wide.
"Where?" Richard asked.
"Somewhere in Denver. It's on all the channels." Chris turned and
left.
"Mina, wake up." He shook her and she opened her eyes slightly, and
smiled at him.
"Morning." She yawned.
"No time for that, Fatal's back. We need to get there quickly." Mina
sat strait up and jumped out of the bed.
"Then let's go." She rushed past him and out to where the group was
assembled. In front of the TV, watching the desrtuction.
"I don't believe it, Jadeite?" Rei stood next to the other three who
knew the general.
"Who's he?" Maury asked. Serena explained it to the others.
"Damn. Think he'll be easier that Zoicite?" Chris asked.
"Maybe." Darien said.
"Why's everyone standing around here. Let's go." Richard stood behind
them holding a crystal. He then opened a vortex and motioned everyone through.
"We need Lynn first. I'll get him." Fall opened a second portal in the
Negaverse, and returned a few second later with After Shock.
"Fatal's been a thorn in our sides for too long. It ends today." Shock
looked severly pissed.
"Then hurry." Richard had another gateway opened.
On the other side, Elitch's. "They're here?" Richard scanned the area
and saw masses fleeing. "They're here."
"An astute observation." They turned and saw not Jadeite, Fatal, or Sun.
But a monster.
"Been a while since we fought one of them, a unique monster I mean."
Shock didn't even hear the last bit she said. "ELECTRICAL SURGE!" He
threw the small lightning bolt at the monster. It hardly phased him.
"Oh, but I am no monster." The creature then said something the soldiers
coulnd't hear. Then it's shape changed.
"Jeremy? Since when do you change your own form."
"Remarkable isn't it. Now I am more powerful than you remember." His
weapon materialized in his hand, Jadeite and Sun on his sides.
"Three against, eleven is not that fair." Jadeite reminded Fatal.
"Since when do you fight fair." Lynn yelled.
"Never. Kill them." Fatal flew down at the group ready to strike.
"I don't think so!" Fatal was distracted by this unfamiliar voice.
"Earth Crystal... Strike!" Gaea sent the gem missle with presice trajectory,
that it would hit Fatal, no matter what.
"Who's she?" Richard asked looking around.
"No idea, but it looks like she's on our side. Why not follow her lead.
I still have to get even with Jadeite." Everyone looked at Darien. "He tried
to drown me." He lept off towards Jadeite.
"Those Negaverse generals really had it out for him." Chris commented.
"I'll take care of Sun." Lynn pulled his sword out.
"After Shock. You will help us with Fatal first. Then you can get her.
Look, she's already taken him to the ground. It's our turn now."
Everyone agreed and attacked Fatal at once. Doing the same thing they
had done three days earlier. Except this time, Richard stayed in his human
form.
Again the attacks combined, and again nearly everything is sight was
destroyed.
"I guess the 25 million they spent on these new rides was just a waste."
Chris ran up to the fallen prince. "He's survived twice. How do we
kill this guy?" Richard ran up beside him.
"EARTH TREMOR!" The ground shook beneath all of the Sailors. A crack
opened up beneath Fatal's broken body. Fiss and Fall lost their balance and
started to follow Jeremy's body into the ravine.
"How far to the bottom?" Richard asked.
"I don't think there is a bottom." Chris looked up and saw Rei screaming
something at him. He couldn't make it out.
"Spirit of Mars. Join with me." The ritual of growth started again.
When it finished, the crevice started to close.
"Damn. Chris hang on." Richard swooped over and grabbed Chris' arm.
"Were getting out of here."
"What's that?" Rei asked when she saw the soft glow of the spirit.
She stood there with the other's looking down.
A few seconds later, the crack closed. Rei and Mina both started crying.
"Now what's that for?" Chris and Richard said simultainiously.
The group turned and saw the two standing in front of a black ripple.
The two girls ran to their loves. The other's walked behind them.
Ami looked around. There was no sign of the other three that were on the
battle field.
"Where did the girl that helped us go?" She asked. The others started
looking as well.
"Maybe she's just like Tuxedo Mask was at first. Not wanting anyone to
know her." Serena suggested.
The group followed Richard when he opened the door for home.
Chapter 5
Back at the house, the group nearly passed out. Lynn had gone home again,
Richard still hadn't told him his plans for leaving the States.
"When are you going to tell him? After all he is your freind." Rei sat
down in front of the TV blocking Richard's view.
"Before I leave. But I don't see how that is any of your concern." He
got up and went up stairs. He walked down to the bathroom and closed the door.
He got undressed, went into the shower and turned it on.
"What's with him? I mean I haven't know him for that long, but
something seems wrong." Rei was talking to Chris.
"He might just be a private person."
"But I sensed that something was wrong."
"Maybe, but even if there is something wrong, you shouldn't pry."
Richard heard the door creak open, then close. "Yes, who is it." No
response. Richard grabbed the towel hanging near him and cleared the water
from his eyes. Before he could ask again, someone was in there with him.
"Mina?" He looked surprised, and a bit relieved.
"Who else?"
"Why wasn't I able to stay longer, I was ripped back here." Jessica sat
down on a rock near her. "Let's try and figure this out. I broke the door
open, then I appeared in that area where I could sense the evil of those
I attacked. After they were defeated, I came back here. So every time the
threat is neutralized, I'll probably return here." She shook her head.
"You must send out a scout to find Fatal." Sun looked at the giant man.
"I cannot help you. Fatal has gone, you pose no threat to me, if I
bring him back, he'll probably want to take over my palace."
Sun thought to herself for a moment. "I pose no threat? Green laser!"
Sun pointed her finger towards one of the walls, which abruptly shattered.
"Help me find him, and I will over look telling him you wanted to leave
him there. Wherever there is."
The master of the house looked at the wall then called his guards into
the room.
"You'll regret this." Sun said as she was dragged down a hallway
towards the dungeon.
Lita and Maury went into the kitchen and started work on lunch. "So how
big is your restraunt going to be?" Maury asked.
"It'll be one of the biggest in the world. It will be great." She
wanted someones help, cooking for 10 people is kinda tough by yourself.
"Richard told me where all the stuff is in here." She went around the
room gathering the materials she needs to make lunch.
"What are you making?" Maury said, trying to help.
"Food. What else?"
"How can I help, you called me in here to help you. Didn't you?"
"Oh yeah, go and get a pitcher from that cupboard. And make something
to drink." She pointed to a cupboard then over to a box.
"Ok." He walked over and grabbed a pitcher, then over to the box. He
opened it, then walked out to talk to the other people to find out what they
would like.
A knock came on the bathroom door. "Yeah!" Richard said over the sound
of the water.
"What do you want to drink for lunch?" Maury's voice came.
"Go downstairs, there is a hidden compartment beneath the first flight
of stairs, there should be some soda there." He went back to washing his
hair. Or rather to Mina helping him wash his hair.
When they finished with their shower, they dried off and went out to eat
lunch with the others.
"What'd you make Lita?"
"Some subs." She handed him a sandwich.
"Thanks." He and Mina left the room after getting their food. They
went down to his room and, for the first time, actually talked.
"Lord Beryl has done that which any smart person would have avoided
doing. I'll go after Fatal, and then take my rightful place as lord of this
house." Jadeite disapeared and began his search.
"Near here." Jadeite appeared in the strata and searched in a phantasmal
form. Near the very begining of his search, he found what he was looking for.
"Now how to get you out of here." Jadeite reached out and grabbed where
Fatal's hand was, and let his hand phase in.
He teleported out of there with Fatal.
"What time is it?" Mina asked. Richard looked at his watch.
"Nearly 9:00. I've got a few things I need to do early in the morning.
Sorry." He got up and showed her out. Then went to his bed and fell asleep.
Chapter 6
Early the next morning, Richard got up and left for Lafayette.
Everyone else woke a few hours after Richard left. He went shopping around,
buying a few things. Mainly clothes, luggage, and computer programs.
He arrived back about three hours later.
"Where have you been?" Chris asked when he came in.
"I didn't have any luggage. And I though that I could use some more
clothes. He walked down the hall to his room, and started packing.
Rei walked into the room and looked at him. He turned turned. "Oh yeah
forgot." He walked over to the phone and dialed Lynn.
"Hey Lynn, think you could handle things around here for a while."
"Yeah, Why?" Lynn asnwered.
"Well, I'm going on a little trip. I'll need you to take my house, and
I mean watch it, and Tureti can't come. I don't know when I'll be back, but if
you want to visit, you can use one of those black shards to get to..." He
covered the mouth piece and asked Rei where he could stay. "Cherri Hill
Temple in Tokyo, Japan. Think you could do that?"
Lynn thought about for a while, then aswered. "Yeah, I got keys. What
about the cars?"
"You can drive them. That all, I'm leaving at 7:00 tonight."
"Okay, does Tureti know?"
"Yeah, I told him yesterday. So later."
"Yeah, later." He hung up.
"Is that what you came in here to ask me?"
"No, I came to ask how you were doing."
"What do you mean? Physically or mentally? If it's the latter, I feel
fine. Except..." Richard turned so Rei couldn't see him smile.
"Except what?"
"Except for the gummi bears! There inside my head! THEY'RE EATING MY
BRAINS!" He turned and held his head like he was in pain.
Rei just left the room, laughing a little. "Nevermind." Richard could
hear Chris and Maury laughing out in the living room.
"Gummi Bears?" Mina asked as she came into the room.
"Yeah, if you know of the deciples of Habib, you would know more."
"The what? I don't wanna know, your acting different." She observed.
"When I get excited, I start acting like Chris." She nodded in
understanding.
"Well, we've got a few hours 'til we go, watcha gonna do with this time?"
Richard sat there for a moment thinking. "I hadn't planned anything,
wanna get something to eat? We'll be back in time to go."
"Sure." They left the room and told the others where they were going.
The others wanted to go too, but one look from Richard detered them.
They went for some fast food, and talked a little more. They got back
about two hours before the flight left.
"Everybody packed?" Richard asked. The group nodded. "Well, let's
load up the van." They went about gathering their suit cases and tried
getting all of it in the van. Some of them had to sit with their luggage on
their laps. Some was strapped to the roof.
After sorting it all out they were finaly ready to leave. Richard got
a strange grin on his face. As they stopped at the first stop sign, he turned
around to face some of his companions.
"I think a little 'Bohemian Polk' a would do right now." Richard popped
a tape into the radio, and cranked it.
"Fatal, you alright?" Jadeite threw some water on him. "You okay?"
"Yes. Throw any more water and you wont." Fatal shook his head. "What
happened?"
"Your freind tried to get Lord Beryl to help find you, but he threw her
in the dungeon."
"WHAT?!?!" Anger burned in Fatal's eyes, more than normal I might add.
"Where are we?"
"In my old home, I used the healing chamber over there. You should be
feeling fine."
"Better than fine, I feel like killing a Negaverse bastard. How far
from the palace of Beryl are we?"
"We're in it right now. My house was part of the main living quarters."
"Good, where is the dungeon?"
"I'll show you." They got up and traveled down towards the holding
area. "You take care of the guards."
"Thanks. Reconstruct." Fatal touched a wall. It reached out and
grabbed the guards in a crushing grip. The pressure causes almost all their
bones to shatter. "I also get Lord Beryl."
"Sun, you in there?"
"Fatal? It is you, she ran up to the door and reached out to touch him.
"Stand back." Fatal grabbed the door and destroyed it.
"Thanks, let's get Beryl." They ran down towards the throne room.
"What's is going on in that province?" Lord Beryl asked one of his
advisors.
"I have no idea, and you wont care in a few seconds." Fatal walked up
and stabbed him in the side. "Now what was this about leaving me in the
rock?"
"I... I... GUARDS!"
"Sun, take care of them." She nodded and sent her black laser at the
advancing guards.
"How hospitible is calling the guards on your guest, and MASTER!" Fatal
hit his chest. "Treating your superior badly means that you wish to die."
The three stood there and watched as Lord Beryl screamed silently as he was
ripped apart, from the inside out.
"Now back to our original prey."
"Well, gotta check our things. Empty your pockets." The soldiers had
reached the security checkpoint. They proceded to empty their pockets and go
through the metal detector. No one had a problem.
"Well, we got about half an hour to catch our plane. Let's go, it'll
take a while to get to the terminals." Richard led them all to the loading
area. "First stop San Fran, then to Japan. Right?"
Chris checked the tickets and nodded. "There's the plane now." Chris
pointed out of a nearby window, to a plane docking at their terminal.
"Serena walked up to Chris. "Where's the dramamine?" Chris looked at
her confused, then remembered what he said on the flight in. "Oops, I
forgot."
Serena looked ready to kill him. "Serena, take one of these, you'll
feel better if you get airsick." Richard tossed her a box of motion sickness
pills.
Serena put the box in her pocket and grabbed her luggage as the speaker
sounded. "Flight 923 to Tokyo, with stops in San Francisco and Honolulu, now
boarding at gate 35."
"Honolulu, did you know we stopped there?" Richard asked Chris as they
gathered their things.
"Nope." Chris said.
They boarded the plane, and it took off without any trouble.
Chapter 7
After they took off from San Francisco International, a slight problem
came up. Richard and Chris were trading insults.
"May your mother-in-law come to your wake dressed as an exorcist."
"May an obscene tatooist take advantage of you during an alcoholic coma."
"May the ransom note from your kidnappers be returned by your wife for
insufficient postage."
The stewart came down and told them there were a few problems and to
remain calm.
They really didn't take much notice. They continued exchanging insults,
until they heard the explosion.
The entire group went over to one side of the plane to look out the
window. Fatal was on the wing.
"How are we gonna deal with him, we're stuck in here."
"Hey look!" Ami pointed out the window, another person standed on the
wing, apparently opposing him.
"This ought to put a dampener on their flight." Fatal took the peice of
metal he brought with him and tossed it down towards one of the engines.
He glanced over to the windows and saw his enemies looking out at him,
helpless. He started walking towards the next engine.
"Stop!" Even with the wind going by so quickly, he heard the voice.
He turned and saw Sailor Gaea standing above where he just disabled the
engine. "You're the one that trapped me in rock. You'll pay for that."
Fatal charged his projectile attack. He looked at Jessica. "Now DIE!"
The green projectile sailed past her.
"Not very smart. MIRROR ATTACK!" She mimiced Fatal's exact motion,
and sent the same green bolt at him. He was a little unluckier than Gaea.
The bolt hit him and started destroying him. He fell to his knees screaming.
He gripped his sides and started slipping of the wing.
"Did you see what she did, it looks like she killed him." The Sailors
watched as Fatal flew off the wing and down into the ocean.
"That's one less person we'll have to worry about. We still have the
other two to worry about." Richard wasn't that interested that the newcommer
had killed his greatest enemy.
"We've got to find out who that is." Rei said looking in disbelief at
what just happened.
They watched as she faded away.
"Where did she go?" Rei ran over to the other side of the plane to look.
Everyone but Knightfall talked about what had happened, for almost the
rest of the flight. Some dropped off while talking.
A few hours later, they awoke to the landing. It was about 5:00 p.m.
They got off the plane to stretch. And waited to be called back for take off.
Some of them wandered around the airport. Most of them stayed by or in the
plane.
The pilot came into the first class area and said. "I'm sorry, you'll
have to take a later flight. One of the left engines has blown. Sorry."
The ones on the plane got off with their luggage and told the others to
get theirs.
"Well this sucks. What are we going to do in Hawai'i. Nevermind. I
just answered my question." Richard walked up to a member of flight personel.
"Excuse me, could you tell me when the next flight to Japan is?"
"I think there's one that's bound for there in a few minutes, not this
one, but another one. You could check and see if you could get on that one.
Just go down there." She pointed to another terminal.
"Thanks." Richard, Darien, Ami, and Lita all walked down there.
"Excuse me, does this flight have any open seats?" Darien asked when
they reached it.
"Let me check. Yes, there are 31 openings. 25 in coach, and 6 in first
class."
"When is it leaving?"
"Uh, first we should find out if it is going to Japan." Richard said.
"Oh yeah, does this flight go to Japan?"
The lady nodded. "And it leaves in about half an hour."
They ran back to the other terminal. "Have they unloaded the luggage
yet?"
"Not yet sir."
"Could we get a flight transfer, to that flight over there?" He
pointed to the terminal they had just come from.
"Let me find out." The lady typed a few things into the keypad. "Yes,
I can give you 5 first class tickets, and 5 coach."
"We'll take them, can you have the luggage transfered?" She handed the
tickets to Darien.
"Yes, I'll get on that right now." The girl left and went to a door.
The four friends went over and told the others what was going on.
"Who's gonna take the coach seats. Everyone looked at everyone else.
"I'll go." Ami said.
"Me too." Richard said. "I don't like first class that much."
"I'll go with Richard." Mina walked over and grabbed his arm and layed
her head on his shoulder.
"Who else?" Richard looked at the seven remaining.
After a bit Darien spoke up. Andrea and Serena both wanted to go back
there with him.
"I'll take the first class seat if you guys are gonna make sucha big
fuss over it." Ami took one of the first class tickets and walked to the
other gate.
"It's settled then. You guys take the first class tickets, well take
coach, and see you in Tokyo." Richard picked up his bag and walked toward
the gate, the others gathered their stuff and followed.
Chapter 8
The plane landed about 8:00 p.m. Tokyo time. They went through the
hassle of customs, and then went to get their luggage.
Lita called for a few taxis. When they arrived the drivers helped them
get their luggage into the trunks, and on the roofs. Then they went to the
seperate houses. Lita and Darien took one cab, they live fairly close to each
other. Mina and Ami took one. Serena went by herself. The five remaining
had to call for another cab, then they proceded to the temple.
"Rei! Welcome back." Grandpa ran up and gave her a hug. "Chris. Maury.
Andrea." He nodded at each of them. "And who is this?" He looked at Richard.
"Grandpa, this is Richard. We met him in Colorado, he wants to live here
and help around the temple." Rei explained.
"What about his parents." He asked. Richard looked down at the ground.
Grandpa understood. "I see. Well it would be nice to have some one else to
help around here. Mabye he'll replace Chad." Grandpa laughed.
Grandpa showed him to an unused room. "You can stay here." Richard
bid him farewell and began to unpack.
"Twice it's happened. And both times, I've killed the same person. This
makes no sense." Jessica was back in the forest pacing around. "I've got to
find a permanent way out of here."
Rei woke Richard up about 6:00 a.m. She set some clothes down on a chair
near the door. "Braekfast is in a few minutes." She left. Richard yawned and
looked around the room. It was a small room with a closet, a table, and a
chair.
He got up and put on the garments that Rei had left. Then went out to
explore the temple.
"Hey Richard!" He turned to see Chris running up, dressed in the same
kind of garments.
"I think that the two remaining will attack soon."
"What makes you think that?" Richard said walking along, looking
everywhere.
"I saw one of them walking around outside the temple."
"Now that Fatal's gone, it will be easier to kill the remaining two.
Don't worry about it." He walked with Chris to the kitchen.
"Who's that?" Luna and Artemis were following Serena to the temple,
when the saw Richard cleaning up the steps.
"Oh, that's Richard. He came here from America, wants to stay for a
while." Serena waved as she walked by him.
"Hey Serena. These the cats you talked about?" Richard looked down.
"Yeah. This one's Luna that's Artemis." She pointed them out.
"Hey guys." He paused waiting for a response. "Let me guess, they don't
talk when someone else is around." He looked back at Serena. The cat's
looked at her too.
"You told someone?!" Luna asked.
"Hey, he's got one of you talking cat's."
"That must mean..." She looked at Richard.
"Knightfall, Prince of Mars. At your service." He bowed.
"Hey, now we'll have more reinforcements. Hey Rich, how long you
staying?" Artemis asked.
"Two answers. One, as long as possible. And two, don't call me Rich."
"We came by to see how the others were. Serena told us about what
happened when she woke up this morning." Luna started walking towards the
dojo.
"Hey Artemis, come here." Richard called the cat over. "Do you know
that Artemis is a girl's name? She was a Greek goddess."
"Thanks, that just made my day." Luna started to chuckle, she overheard
and Artemis knew he wouldn't be able to live it down.
"Oh, and Chris isn't in the dojo, he went to see someone named Yamoto.
But Andrea and Maury are behind it, arguing with two people I'm unfamiliar
with." Richard went back to work as the two felines ran towards the clearing.
They stopped as they saw Maury go flying past them, and Damien and
Trevor running their way.
"What's going on?" They ran up to the corner and peered around. "What
the hell?!" They saw a woman dressed in blood red clothing and cackling.
"Where are the rest of them?" She landed and kicked Andrea in the side.
"Sailor Moon! Get your new freind, we need some help!" Luna ran back
and yelled to Serena.
Serena and Richard stopped talking when they heard, not Luna's cry, but
Andrea's. They started off running, and transformed while doing it.
"Put her down! I am Sailor Moon, I stand for what is..." Serena's
speech was cut short when the monster did what was asked of her. Andrea and
Serena rolled by Richard as Rei ran up.
"I knew one day those long opening lines would get her in trouble."
"I am unaware of this type of monster, how do we defeat it?"
Rei smiled and simply stated. "With fire." She started to run by him,
but when she touched him, his jewel lit up. "What was that?"
"Just touch it, I have an idea." The monster started towards them.
"You'd better hurry." Rei said grbbing the red gem.
"Pillar of Fire! LEVEL!" Richard held his left hand out and a stream
of fire shot out from it. Rei was compelled to do the same, she held her
right hand out, and the same thing happened.
"What the?" The female monster was hit, she didn't even see it coming.
The flames died down and the monster was gone.
"What made you think to do that?" Rei asked.
"Instinct?" He walked over to Maury and tried to rouse him, reverted of
course.
Rei did likewise to Serena and Andrea. Grandpa came running around the
corner brandishing a katana.
"Now where did you say it was boys?" Trevor and Damien followed him
tenativly around the corner.
"Back there."
"Hi Grandpa." Rei said walking out from behind where they pointed.
Grandpa lowered his weapon. "Is there a monster behind there?" He
asked.
"A monster?" She asked. "You've got to be kidding." She walked back
behind the wall.
Grandpa turned and scowled at the two boys. "I don't like people
wasting my time with lies. Come, the kitchen needs cleaning."
"But we already clea..." Trevor was cut short.
"No, you haven't." Grandpa said walking towards one of the buildings.
"So what happened?" Chris asked.
"We were having an argument with those two," she pointed out the window
at the two boys carrying some large buckets, "and we were attacked." Andrea
said.
"We heard Andrea scream and we came running." Serena said rubbing her
side. "It threw Andrea at me, and we both went down."
"Rei came running up a few seconds later and we killed it. Simple as
that. You can ask the cats if you don't believe us." Richard was walking
around the room.
"Think Jadeite sent her?" Luna asked.
"More than likely. Richard, still have those crystals? We could go
to the Negaverse and get them there." With out a word Richard ran out of the
room.
"Crystals?" Artemis asked.
"Long story, ask Richard later."
Richard came back with a strange look on his face. "What? What is it?"
"They were in my suitcase, now I can't find them." He looked at the
seven gathered there. "What could have happened to them?"
"Nice plan, send a diversion, get the crystals." Sun held the five
black shards that were in Richard suitcase.
"But I thought Fatal was going to take them out." Jadeite took one of
the crystals and looked it over.
"You're right, he should have finished them off over the Pacific." She
dropped the shards on the equivilant of a table. "They must have killed him
somehow."
"I thought he was immortal."
"That what it appeared to be, I used my healing power to keep him alive.
But as most things do, it faded. Too many treatments I think. At first, he
could have been right on top of ground zero and survived. Now he has little
power left, had little power left." She walked from the room.
"I don't care why he's gone. I just want my revenge of those three
girls and their protecter." Jadeite said under his breath. "Serena, Ami,
Rei, and Tuxedo Mask."
It was later in the day, around 3:00, when some of the other members
came. Rei told them what had happened earlier. The cats were talking to
Richard in his room.
"What were these crystals Rei talked about earlier?"
"They're kind of a garage door opener to the Negaverse. Opens doors
to that forsaken place."
They continued talking, the cats asking most of the questions. He told
them about how he got his powers, what had happened recently, and a few other
things. Towards the end of the conversation, someone knocked on the door.
"C'min." Mina walked in.
"Hey Mina, why didn't you tell me where you were going?" Mina looked to
Artemis and smiled.
"You were asleep, and you looked so comfortable that I didn't want to
wake you. Besides, it was only a couple of days."
"What'cha need Mina?" Richard cut in before they started arguing.
"Maury and Lita are going to the movies, I was wondering if you'd like
to go as well."
"Sure, just let me change." Richard went over to his new closet and
grabbed some normal clothes.
"We'll wait outside." Luna said leaving the room.
"C'mon Mina." Artemis stopped and looked back to her.
"Go ahead, it's not anything I haven't seen before." She sat down on
Richard's bed. Artemis turned and left.
"So why'd you really come in here?" Richard asked.
"What makes you think I didn't come in here to ask you to a movie?" She
asked innocently.
"That for one. And my intuition." He was all changed when he finished
talking. "Why DID you come in here?" He asked again.
"I was serious about the movie." She stated.
"Okay then. Let's go." He put his arm around her and walked out.
"I didn't understand a single word." Richard said while walking with
Mina, Lita, and Maury.
"I'll help you learn." Mina said.
"Isn't that Serena?" Maury said pointing at a girl.
"I think it is. What's she doing transformed?" Mina looked around.
"I think that's the answer." Everyone followed Richard's gaze. An
entire legion of troops was advancing on her. The group looked around for
anyone that would see them. No one would see them.
"Sol Power!"
"Jupiter Star Power!"
"Mars Jewel Power!"
"Venus Star Power!"
"Need any help Sailor Moon?" She looked over to see the four running up
to her.
"That would be nice." She turned back to the army. "I got a call for
help from Ami and Rei. They're being attacked too."
"Rei should have Chris with her, I'll go and help Ami. Where is she?"
Richard asked.
"Near the bus depot." Serena said dodging a small rush attack.
"Thanks." He turned and began running, then he remmembered that he
doesn't know where anything is.
"This way!" Lita rushed by him. Richard followed.
Chapter 9
"FISS!" Chris aimed his sword at one of the closest attackers.
"We're going to need to get rid of more than that." Rei kicked one of
attackers.
"Your right." He turned and smiled. "You are unworthy. Bow before me."
Chris brought his swords around and threw a blue disk at a large concentration
of enemies. The disk went to knee level, removing the lower part of most of
their legs.
"That's one way."
"Here's another. Pluto...Ground...ZERO!" Rei and Chris turned to see
Hooze sending her attack into another group.
"That's another way. Rei, how 'bout you?"
She smiled. "Mars Celestial Fire...Surround!" Her attack spread wide,
then shot together, circling one attacker, and destroying a dozen more.
"Not bad. Let's see, score. Us: About a thousand, them: None."
Chris laughed as the depleated army regrouped. Nearly half their numbers were
gone.
"There's Ami." Lita said running towards the lone Sailor Soldier.
"And their's her attackers." Richard said disbeliveingly. Ami stood
with very little opposition.
"What happened?" Ami turned when she heard this.
"She did." Ami pointed to Gaea. "They started attacking me, she
appeared and took them all out."
"Why not get into the fun before it's over?" Richard drew his scimitars
and charged.
"Why not? C'mon Ami." Lita ran after him.
"We need some help." The small group was fighting, and losing. A
barrage of roses rained down on them, not injuring the good guys.
"Thanks!"
"Venus Crescent Beam Smash!" The beam shot out and hit one of the
retreating attackers.
"Need to take out more. Try a differt attack." Maury said sending a
wave of stars out.
Mina shrugged. "Venus Meteor Shower!"
"That should do it." Darien said, rose in hand.
The remnants of this army ran through a dark gateway.
"They're running." Rei said giving chase.
"Let them go, they've failed their mission." Fiss sheathed his weapon.
"Let's try and regroup with the others." Andrea suggested.
"She's defeated them all, not a single one's left." They saw Jessica
walk towards them.
"Hello." She walked past them.
"Hey, wait up." Lita ran up beside her.
"Yes?" She turned.
"Who are you?"
"Sailor Gaea. More comonly known as Earth. But I prefer Gaea." She
started walking again.
"Blue Laser!" Everyone turned and saw Sun standing there. The azure
light went by them and hit Gaea. She started to revert to normal.
"NOOOOOOO!" She screamed as she started to dissapear. Her power stick
fell to the ground, forever out of reach.
"Now for you guys. WHITE LASER!" She held her hand out, one finger
pointing at each of them. A white burst shot forth from each digit.
"Hit the dirt!" Richard jumped, and landed in a roll. Lita barely
dodged the one meant for her. Ami wasn't even close to being hit.
"Fiss!" The blue beam hit Sun in the back.
She turned around, and started advancing. "You'll pay for that."
"Hey Fiss, we seem to be going further into debt." Richard yelled to
him.
"I wonder how much intrest there will be." Maury said coming down a
different street.
"A lot." Jadeite materialized next to Sun.
"Now we have a chance to finish this." Richard ran around to meet up
with Rei.
"Richard, joint attack?" She asked as he ran up.
"You telepathic?" He smiled. They both turned and faced Jadeite and
Sun.
"Pillar of Fire." A shaft of fire shot up around them. "LEVEL!" The
spinning blaze bent it's path. Sun was hit, and she was down. Everyone else
stood there stunned.
"Get them. To weak to attack." Richard said as he fell over.
"Mercury Ice Bubbles...FREEZE!" Ami's debilitating attack hit Jadeite.
"Nice shot. Moon, do the honer."
"Moon...Scepter...ELIMINATION!" She aimed the Moon Scepter at Jadeite.
With a last burst of energy, and knowing that he could defeat them better
than she could, Sun jumped in front of the attack.
"Whoa!" The light caused by her being hit was emmense. She seemed to
explode, sending a rain of twinkling dust everywhere.
"Thanks." Jadeite said as he broke free of the ice. The dust had
healed all those it touched, at the same time it charged them, making them
stronger, more agile, etc.
"I feel better than ever. And now you'll pay." Jadeite threw his hands
forward. A bolt of brown lightning struck near Ami. "That's for freezing me.
This is for opposing me." He sent another bolt towards the largest group.
"Your the one that shall pay." Richard said standing up. "Now your
stronger, so are we." He charged, blades whirling.
Jadeite turned and sent a bolt at Richard's chest. The bolt was
deverted by Fiss' force beam. The last thing Jadeite saw was part of him
going one way, another going a different way.

station I was listening to. This is a fact. Spooky huh?
