Toshi is swinging the omamori he got from his older brother. He swings it in front of his face.

Sho: "...The omamori you got from Taku-nii?"

Toshi hangs it in front of his face, staring at it. "........."

Sho: "...Something wrong?"

Toshi: "...U~~~~~~m... I was thinking... that maybe Taku-nii was a bit weird since the graduation trip......"

Sho: "...Really...?"

Taku, Tsubaki and Azuma stare open mouthed.

Taku, almost as a whisper: "...Tsukasa..."

Tsubaki: "...Kozuki...!"

Azuma: "...! ...Those guys..." He looks on in fear.

Taku gets up suddenly: "Tsukasa------!!"

Tsukasa starts: "!!" She gets up as well. "Don't come------!! Taku-nii, get away!!"

Shiki calmly puts on a pair of shades.

Tsukasa: "These guys are tied to 'Garyukai'!!"

Azuma, Taku and Tsubaki: "!!!"

Taku stares in horror just for a moment before taking off at a run. {...Garyukai---...!!}

Azuma: "!?" He watches Taku take off.

Shiki: "---...Too bad...... That blow earlier... If she didn't jump back just then it may have been fatal......" {I hate these people who have such good reflexes...}

Voice: "---Hey. I didn't say bring her back as a corpse,"

Shiki: "..."

Voice: "Shiki."

Shiki: "Yeah, yeah, I know. But as you can see, I don't think she'll die that easily, and the 3 there are drugged so that they'll have their fun but not to the point of killing."

The 3 guys sent by Shiki to capture Tsukasa have about as many cuts to their bodies as Tsukasa does but they just keep on advancing.

Tsukasa: {Even they're covered with wounds but they're not even out of breath! I'm the only one getting tired here!! ...To... take on 3 of them at once by myself is rough...... Seriously now... ...I... may be in for it------!!}

An image of Ryuji passes through her mind. She pauses.

Tsukasa: {---...Ryuji---} "---..." {...That's right...... In times like this... he always came to help me... The 3 guys start their approach once again.

Azuma: "I'm not saying that! Just...!"

Tsubaki: "...A... Kozuki!!"

Tsukasa: "DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Take thi---s!! Ryuji-you-moron-hurry-up-and-wake-up tornado ki------ck!!" She suddenly slams one of the guys to the ground. "Ryuji-you-slow-poke-hurry-up-and-come-help-me screw atta---ck!!" She sends the other 2 guys spinning out of range. "I'm in a pinch, hurry up and come back!! Beep beep beep Bee---p bee---p bee---p beep beep beep. Answer the SOS Ryuji cru---sh!" Ticked off, she's using her anger to beat up the guys, naming her moves...

There are sound effects of Tsukasa beating the guys up.

Azuma, Taku and Tsubaki: "..." They don't know what to make of it.

Tsubaki: "...Kozuki..."

Tsukasa: "Ryuji you baka!

Remember-this-when-you-come-back drop ki-----"

Suddenly, one of the guys is behind her.

Tsukasa: "Ge! Damn...!"

She manages to intercept the blade before it reaches her but she is slammed to the ground on her back.

Tsubaki: "AA!"

Taku: "Baka!!"

Shiki, sounding bored: "...What...... ...is that all......?" {And I thought that it was finally getting interesting...}

The 3 guys are now surrounding Tsukasa and are trying to cut at her with their knives [yes, each guy has a knife of some kind].

Tsukasa, still on her back: "GYAAAAAAA! Taaaaaa! That's cheating you guys, 3 against one!" She's defending herself moving her blade to ward off the knife blows. {Dammit! Shit shit! Like this I can only defend!! I gotta do something, I gotta do something!}

One of the knives suddenly knock Tsukasa's blade out of her hands.

Tsukasa: {IYAAAAAAA!!}

The 3 guys all lift their blades one last time.

Tsukasa: "!"

She sees one of the guys coming right at her face. [He looks pretty freaky with semi- long hair and blood flowing from a cut over his eyes... He kinda of reminds me of Joker...]

Tsukasa closes her eyes. An image of Ryuji, with his gun aimed crosses her mind.

Tsukasa: {RYUJI---------!!!}

Three shots are fired.

Back in the hospital.

A nurse is inserting an IV into Ryuji's left arm. She starts suddenly when she notices that his index finger had twitched, as if pulling the trigger of a gun. [Yeah, Ryuji is right handed, but like Asago, he can use his gun in either hand.]

Nurse: "...... Shirogami-san...?" She turns to look at his face.

But Ryuji's eyes remain closed.

Back in front of the Kozuki apartment.

Shiki: "!! Ge!"

Taku: "...A..." He suddenly slumps to the ground in relief, giving a long sigh. Tsubaki and Azuma watch him shrink to the ground.

Tsukasa opens her eyes. "...N...?" She notices that the guy closest to her is now bound up in rope, and is trying to move. She slowly gets up. "...He...?" The other 2 guys are also tied up. Incidentally, the rope is also covering their mouths so that they can't speak. They look rather like squirming caterpillars.

Tsukasa looks up: "...A..."

Akira and Munakata [Akira's partner in case you've forgotten] are standing in the distance, their weapons drawn. Behind them are Toshi and Sho, clutching at each other.

Tsukasa: "... ...Akira-san......"

The image on the monitor suddenly is cut off.

But Misumi is listening with his eyes closed. Carlie, his panther/puma whatever it is is resting on the floor, its tail thumping the tiles.

Back in front of the Kozuki residence. There are a number of crying people.

"...Tsukasa..."

Toshi: "...Tsukasa..."

Sho: "Tsukasa..."

Tsubaki: "Kozuki...!"

The 3 of them have twin rivers of tears flowing from their eyes.

Toshi: "Are you all right? Are you all right!?"

Sho: "Are you okay!?"

Tsubaki: "I couldn't do anything when you were in danger. I'm sorry, I'm sorry." {Don't stop being my friend---}

Tsukasa, trying to ward off the well intentioned pats to her body: "I'm okay, I'm fine. I won't stop being friends with you---" {I understand so please, stop touching me---!}

Toshi, Sho and Tsubaki are surrounding her, assuring themselves that she is all right. Tsukasa however, is in the form of a dog.

Tsukasa: "I'm injured so stop petting me as if I'm a dog or something!"

Sho: "But we're just worried~~."

Taku watches this from his stop on the curb: "...... ---......"

Akira, carrying a large first aid kit: "Hey, hey, Tsukasa--- I know you haven't tended to your wounds yet. Here, use this."

Munakata puffs on his cigarette after dusting off his hands when he is done.

Akira, whispering: "...Actually, he wanted to shoot and kill the 3 that were attacking you Tsukasa, saying it would have made things easier. But then we were ordered to capture those injected with that drug alive and in one piece..." He pauses and changes the subject all of the sudden. "...Oh... that's right. Can we hear your part of the story..."

Tsukasa: "...What?"

Akira: "The reason why you were attacked by those 3."

Taku: "!"

Akira: "Don't they have something to do with the drug?"

Azuma: "..."

Tsukasa: "...Why...?" {Drug...?}

Akira: "...Because Scorpion was here. I caught a glimpse of him when I arrived here. The guy in the shades, wasn't that Scorpion?"

Taku looks at him seriously.
