Kumiin: "...The bozu...!!"
Usui: "Sutemi!!?" [Okay, okay, I don't know the right word that translates sutemi. For any gamers out there, it's usually used with the word kougeki (attack) to describe an attack that risks one's life. A literal translation is to throw one's life away... Does any of this make sense...?]
Mooka: "Aitsu is planning on doing the same as Kamojima!!" [Remember, aitsu = he/she. I don't know if the kumiin see Tsukasa as a real female yet...]
Text: My last resort is,
Ryuji: {TSUKASA------!!} He slams his palm against one of the ''pillars'' in frustration.
One of the pincers comes straight for Tsukasa.
Tsukasa: "---!"
Text: Kamo-san's---...!!
Tsukasa: "AAAA!" She swings her blade, knocking the pincer out of harm's reach. The force of the strike though slams her to the ground. "......!" Panting heavily, she tries to coax her tiring muscles to move. {Gambare... gambare.} Sprawled one her side, her body is quivering but she manages to keep her hold on the knife.
Freya, snickering: "...What's wrong......? It doesn't look like the distance is closing at all~~~"
Tsukasa: {Gambare gambare. Just a little bit more.}
Freya: "You can't defeat me if you just defend~~~" She chuckles again. "---In the battle scene, don't let your pain show on your face. Even if you're weakened, bluff it and show them a face that says I won't be killed by the likes of you!!"
Ryuji's words from the past echo in Tsukasa's mind.
[In case you've forgotten, this was Ryuji's words to Asago at that Sakahogigumi vs Hizakigumi incident after he tells her to stand after having her arm sliced off by Rui.]
Tsukasa glares up at Freya in defiance.
Freya: "!!"
Ryuji starts as he realizes... "... ---...No... ...She's not after a final strike..." [Yeah, yeah, ''final strike'' you say? I'm thinking of the English translation for take-your-opponent-down-with-you strike where both parties fall/die]
Usui and Mooka: "EE!?"
Ry uji: "...Aitsu (Tsukasa)... is planning on winning."
Large text above the kanbu: EEEEEE!? That's insane!!
Usui, with golf balls for eyes: "But Sandaime! She's already worn out and trembling!"
Mooka: "She's no match for her!!"
Kanbu 1: [I don't know who's talking] "It looks like all she can do is try and avoid the attacks......!"
Kanbu 2: "NO... Even that itself I think is sugoi......!" [sugoi = wow, amazing, cool etc.]
Ryuji: "..." {...She's waiting for a chance to retaliate...?}
Freya is not impressed with Tsukasa's attitude. "...What... Even at this stage your eyes... ...A person who's dying should look more pathetic!!!"
Whipping her arm again, she sends the pincers in motion.
Tsukasa and Ryuji simultaneously see the opportunity. "!!!"
Text: ---A split second chance, the last trick/card is,
Ryuji: "------Rise."
Pushing off the ground with her hand, Tsukasa rises to her knees.
Freya: "!!!" Her ''wrist'' extends as she whips her ''fingers'' along the ground, ruining the asphalt.
Tsukasa's left hand stops just short of Freya's face as Freya's stops the blade. It looks like Freya's hair is temporarily more flexible as she jumped back to catch Tsukasa's wrist. Even in her condition, Tsukasa had managed to avoid all of the pincers and close the gap!
Freya, chuckling: "...Too~~~ bad... Did you think that I would fall for the same trick twice!? Your attack patterns are so predictable!!"
Tsukasa smiles softly: "---...That's great---..."
Freya is thrown off by her smile and then starts as she realizes the pincers are heading straight for Tsukasa's back.
Text: ---The final trick is Kamo-san's --- ''A gun with no bullets is just a piece of junk''------
Tsukasa flips her body upwards as the pincers home in on her and they penetrate Freya's head. [It's not pretty...]
Text: People use guns which easily claim a person's life and they become over confident------...
Usui: "..."
Ryuji's mouth is open, like the rest of the Kuryugumi gang. Suddenly, everyone starts cheering.
Usui: "...Y... YESSSSSSSSSS-------!!"
Kanbu: "Yessss bozu!!"
Kumiin: "So there, your imitation of the goddess of fighting!!" {Self destructed by her own weapons--!!}
Kumiin: "In our world (of the gokudo) the only 'goddess of fighting' is known as the 'Durga'!!"
Most of the Kuryugumi members are raising their fists cheering, but one of the kumiin is actually giving Freya the finger.
Narration by Tsukasa: Freya's weapon pierced the main body (Freya) which no longer moved, but the weapons on her fingertips still sought its prey (me) and didn't cease to move. ---The more I called on Freya's fighting ability, the less control she had over her weapon.
With Freya now dead, the hair cage began to collapse.
Kumiin: 1 "Wa!"
Kumiin: 2 "The barricade!!"
Kumiin: 3 "It's back to normal (hair)!!"
There's a funny pic of army gear clad kumiin struggling as the hair falls to the ground. Ryuji fights his way through the mass of hair as well.
Text: It merely became a deadly weapon---... It was---... Freya's overconfidence of her weapon that had up until then accurately targeted her prey. If you can't use/control the ''most powerful weapon'', it can eat you alive...... That was what Kamo-san taught me---...
Ryuji breaks free of the crowd behind him to rush to Tsukasa's side. "Tsukasa...!"
Collapsed on the ground, Tsukasa lies motionless.
Ryuji: "TSUKASA!! Tsukasa!!" Hey..." Pulling a roll of medical tape out of nowhere, he begins with bandaging her right hand, cradling her gently with his other hand. "Can you hear my voice!? Tsukasa!!" He kisses her eyes. "Tsukasa!!" {I beg you, open your eyes!!}
A little distance away, the kumiin and kanbu are standing together in a huge crowd, staring with huge round eyes.
".............................."
Usui: "...Hey... ...What do we do......?"
Mooka: "...What do we do about what?"
Usui: "...If... Sandaime states that he will make that his seisai..."
Kanbu 1: "...If it was a man, we would have disapproved..."
Kanbu 2: {Even if it was a woman} "We would have disapproved if it was a katagi...... ...but... after witnessing such a battle... we can't say a thing---..."
The kanbu and kumiin alike are blushing a bit as they watch their kumicho show affection for another human being.
Text: Covered in wounds and dripping with blood, even then she kept rising again.
Everyone recalls how Tsukasa had stood up even after all five of Freya's pincers had embedded themselves in Tsukasa's flesh.
Text narration by one/all of the kanbu: She looked like a fighting demon--- The way she stood up to the enemy alone with her one sword gave the illusion that we were seeing that legend come alive---... ---...Who would dare...
Tsukasa slowly opens her eyes.
Ryuji: "...! ...Tsukasa...?"
With trembling arms, she reaches up to embrace Ryuji. "~~~...!"
Ryuji: "...... ...Aa..." He smiles gently. "...You did well---..." Holding her close, both of them seem to forget that they are surrounded by many watchers.
Text: ---..Who would dare...
Kuryugumi members: {Can anyone stop their love scene------...?} They're all watching, sweatdropping with huge eyes.
Kumiin: 1 {...Aa... I have this feeling that there's still something that we have to do but......}
Kumiin: 2 { The mood's getting even more intense......}
Tsukasa: "Ryu... ...cold."
Ryuji: "I'll keep holding you like this..."
"KYAAAAAA!!"
At first you can't tell, but it's Meiko doing the scream, her hair sticking out in different directions.
Meiko: "What a miserable looking state you're in Tsukasa-kun---!!! IYA------!!!"
Text pointing to the female with her jaw down to her chest: Meiko-sensei.
Ryuji starts. "!"
Kumiin: "A..." {A love mood stopper from an unexpected place.} Behind Meiko is the medical team running with supplies and even a stretcher that floats just above the ground.
Minutes later.
Orders are being issued as they start to clean up the aftermath.
"Those who can move! Help those who are unable to move themselves."
"Hurry! I need the medical crew here!"
Meiko: "The bleeding's stopped with the 'material sheets'." {It's better than the tape I handed you.} "The transfusion's going well too, so for now this should be fine..."
Ryuji: "...I see......"
A tired looking dog-eared Tsukasa is tucked into a mobile hospital bed. Ryuji touches her cheek softly.
Meiko: "..." She glances up at Ryuji. "...It seems... that the kumiin know now." {About Tsukasa-kun's sex.}
Ryuji: "...... ...Aa......."
Meiko, all happy: "That's great. Now you can openly flirt with Tsukasa-kun ©"
Ryuji: "---..." He eyes her silently.
Meiko, worriedly: "...... ...You don't looks so elated about that... ...Is there something...?"
Tsukasa opens dazed eyes. "......"
Ryuji: "---... ...No..." {...There may be some of them (kumiin) that may have realized---... Tsukasa's identity} "...Putting that aside what about the injured?"
Meiko: "We've rounded up almost everybody. ...But since Megafloat's on the verge of destruction, the vehicles can't get around too well." She looks thoughtful for a moment and points off in another direction. "...Now that I think about it, there was another person over there, but since he looked like a cop, I just left him there." She smiles. {He was really big too~~}
Tsukasa's dog ears perk up.
Ryuji: "That's fine." {Leave him there. Leave him there. Okay, let's go before Megafloat collapses completely.}
Tsukasa has huge eyes full of tears. "~~~! ~~~!"
Tsukasa in dog form: "Ryuji...! That's Akira-san~~"
Ryuji ignores her pleas as he and Meiko start moving the stretcher away.
Tsukasa: "He shielded me...! He saved my life. Save him~~~" She continues to wail.
Ryuji on the other hand somehow turns the upper portion of his ear inwards to plug them.
Text: Using his ears as ear plugs.
Tsukasa: "If you save him I'll do anything~~~"
The ''ear plugs'' open suddenly.
Text: Open.
Tsukasa stares at Ryuji's back with huge eyes.
Ryuji turns slowly and gives her a devilish smile. "...O... ho----h...?"
Tsukasa looks back in shock with tear filled eyes.
Ryuji starts issuing orders again."...Aa. Pick up that cop too. Why? That's because if I save that cop now, it'll benefit me later."
Tsukasa: {---... ...Am I... like digging my own grave...?} There's a pic of Tsukasa imagining herself happily [?] digging her own grave.
Meiko: "...By the way, Tsukasa-kun...?"
Tsukasa starts.
Meiko: "I don't see Takuma-kun and the others but where are they?"
Tsukasa: "...E...?" {Taku-nii...?}
Meiko looks a bit worried: "They're not here? They went ahead of the medical team to look for you..."
Tsukasa: "They're not here! Maybe......!"
Meiko:" ...Iyada ......!" {For real!?} "No way... I wonder if they're lost somewhere..." {Megafloat won't last much longer...!}
Tsukasa: "......! ......!" She once again turns wide tear stained eyes towards Ryuji. "......! ......!"
Ryuji sweat drops: "..." He turns serious. "...I know you want to go looking for them but... if you have no idea where they are..."
Tsukasa looks up at him in despair. "...... ...If they can't go home... ...then I'll stay here too......"
Ryuji starts, then looks grim. "...Then---..."
He looks out in the distance where the medical team is bustling about loading people into huge ambulances.
Somewhere in the distance is the faint sound of gunfire.
Tsukasa and Ryuji both start.
Meiko, who seemed to be oblivious to the surroundings. "...Something happen?"
Tsukasa: "..."
Ryuji: "..."
They stare at each other. "...... ......"
Tsukasa looks off in the distance at one of the buildings. {...From over there...? ...Was that---...... ...gun shots---...?}
A Garyukai member sees the room tilt in a rush as Azuma throws him to the ground.
Azuma: "...! ...Kuso...!!" He takes off at a run, blood dripping down the side of his face. {That gun fire......!! Did someone get hurt...!?} "They didn't manage to get away......!?"
Stepping over the man he just downed, he turns at the sound of Tsukasa's voice.
Tsukasa: "Mister Azuma!?"
Azuma: "!!" He sees Ryuji pushing the stretcher over the bumpy ground.
Text pointing to the floating stretcher: Switched to air run system so that it can run over uneven ground without any turbulence.
Azuma: "Aa...! You're all right!!" {Thank goodness!!}
Ryuji: {...Well... You could put it that way... but...}
Tsukasa is now sitting up in the stretcher. {Forget about me.} "Where's everyone else......!?" {What's going on!?}
Azuma: {...A...} "...Hai... Actually......"
Ouguro points his gun menacingly. [He looks really ugly, the way those veins are popping.]
Ouguro: "---...So... this is the end of the game of tag. I'll have you return the kagi........."
Tsukasa freaks, her hair standing on end.
Tsukasa: "!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!! Kagi...!!"
Azuma: "That's right!!"
Tsukasa: {D.......! Dammit...!!}
Azuma: "We ran into someone that appears to be from Garyukai!!"
Tsukasa: {I forgot~~~~!!! That's right! The kagi~~~~!!}
Text pointing to Ryuji, scratching his head: This guy did too.
Tsukasa: {After defeating Freya, I felt like everything was done......!!} She turns to Azuma. "And then!?"
Azuma: "I had them escape while I kept a number of the opponents busy!!" Panting, he starts running alongside Tsukasa's stretcher. [Didn't he take some shots in the back!?]
Tsukasa: "!!"
Back to Ouguro.
Taku: "------...No way... ...I'm not giving it up to the likes of you..." {As a 'Kozuki'!!}
Ouguro: "...Oh, is that right... Then that's too bad... ...There's no time."
Taku, Toshi, Sho and Tsubaki are backed up against a wall. Taku is playing his role as older brother, partially covering his younger brothers. [To the people with visual aids, Toshi is on the right and Tsubaki is on the far left. Remember, Toshi has the wider part in his hair. Sho is the one with light coloured hair.]
Azuma, Tsukasa and Ryuji round a corner to see Ouguro pointing a gun at Tsukasa's brothers and Tsubaki.
Azuma: "A!!"
Ouguro: "I'll have you all die."
Tsukasa: "!!" {...Ya...!}
Suddenly, a small, golf ball like object flies through the air and bounces off the wall above the Kozuki brothers' heads.
Ouguro looks up, then the ''ball'' bounces down towards him.
Ouguro: "!?"
Toshi: "...!?"
Taku: "!?"
Sho: "!?"
Tsubaki: "!?"
The ''ball'' rolls to a stop. [For those who remember, Misumi removed two golf ball shaped objects from the hilt of his sword sometime ago.]
Everybody: "---...What......?}
A bright light spreads out.
Ouguro: "!!!"
Kozuki brothers and Tsubaki: "WA!!" {That's bright...!}
Tsukasa: "!!?" {WHAT...!?}
An explosion blows part of the wall away as Tsukasa looks on in horror. {---...Wha...!?}
Ouguro: "AAA!" He's thrown back from the force of the blast. It looks like he's missing both legs from below the knees. "AAAAAA! AAAAAA" He writhes in pain.
Something taps the ground.
Ouguro rolls over to look and sees long hair and a jacket flapping in the breeze. "...A..."
Misumi is suddenly standing over him, holding his sheathed sword.
Tsukasa: {------!!!}
