VIDEO GLAY 3
VIDEO GLAY 3 was released on 2/4/98. It is a collection of GLAY's promotional videos and off stage clips in LA. The LD version has Takuro on the front and the VD version has Teru on the front. The LD version has a huge original sticker + prize ticket seal (First editions only). The sticker is a group picture w/ white background. Other than the sticker, there is also a lyrics sheet. Behind the lyrics sheet there's another huge picture of GLAY. Promotional papers of Platinum Records are also included as well..^^;;; Note: This video has been the top video for 3 weeks right after its release! ^_-

(again + Lourdes's silly comments ^^)1. Yes Summerdays - Takuro w/ very long hair ^^ - Hisashi and Jiro looks very young! Very boyish looking. Hisashi has his nose pierced!(L: I didn't know that!) Basically, this video shows the members in a white room. All the colorful effects are done by the computer. This is a very fun, catchy song. ~fun clips~ We see a recording room, a string orchestra is playing. This is the recording session for "GLAY SONGBOOK". Takuro/Jiro/Hisashi are in the room. They have no make up on! Oh my! Hisashi looks so cute!!! Takuro looks so businessman-like w/ glasses on. When the orchestra started the song "Together" Hisashi and Jiro are so excited! They all go "Sugoi!! Ah~~subarashii na!!" (L: They both smile sooo cute ^^) Takuro is very busy with the scores and stuff while talking to the engineers. The last shot, we see him in a very satisfying look. 2. Together This is a live clip. Close to the end of the song, we see Teru crying!! His eyes are filled with tears...;_; I'm so afraid his eye-make would smear ne..^^;;;; But it was very touching. 3. BELOVED This video is very beautiful! It was taken in Hokkaido. Teru stands on a very long bridge and all around him are mountains, small rivers and snow fields. Very beautiful scenery! ~fun clips~ Jiro is trying to take pictures of a kitten. He approaches the little thing very very slowly. The cats just stares back at him..^^ 4. a Boy ~zutto wasurenai~ Jiro is the only one who's wearing all red (from head to toe!) - During Hisashi's solo (L: ah~~my fave!) we see Hisashi dressing in normal street clothes walking on the busy streets. He sees some jewellry stands and stops by. He is so friendly and nice!! And that smile!! (eyes all crinkled up..^^; kawaii!) - Then we see Teru in a park doing sketches. Jiro is taking pictures with his camera. He finally succeed in taking pix with the kitten! He actually gets to touch it and becomes friends with the little thing! ^_^ - Takuro is in his room playing his guitar. He walks up to his computer (Mac!) to fix something. (Not sure if it is his real room though..^^;) ~fun clips~ 5 seconds preview - making of "kuchibiru" 5. kuchibiru My fave video! All members look so cool in this! I love the part where everyone is like floating on air turning around and around. All the lighting are very colorful and fun. So "match" with the song! Oh!! In one shot, Teru looks soooooo much like Gackt of Malice Mizer! (yes!!!) Maybe it is the lighting or something, but he really does look like Gackt at that one shot! ~fun clips~ GLAY in LA. They went to this music store. Takuro bought a guitar, he paid by cash! $_$ Then all members went to this pub (somewhere along the desert). They ordered some beer and played billiard. Jiro is so good! He scored a lot! Then we see Hisashi & Teru playing darts. Teru nearly hit bull's eye! When all members start to leave, they play "janken" (stone/paper/scissors game) to decide who drives the truck. Teru won so he drives, but he can't start up the car!! So funny..^^;; Takuro has to get off from the back of the and help him..^^;; 6. RHAPSODY Continue w/ GLAY in California. They performed this on a desert with mountains behind them. (looks like Death Valley to me) It is so sunny and hot! Teru got purple lipstick on ^_^; They had a picnic too! But more like a buffet ne! Lots of food! Later, we see the big truck again. Everyone is running and playing around. Teru drives (again), others at the back. Takuro plays the guitar and Jiro films pictures with his camcorder. Hisashi also has purple lipstick on ^_^; He and Jiro looks so great with sunglasses on! ~fun clips~ The sun is setting and Jiro is still filming..^_^ 7. HOWEVER This video is very wierd. Dunno why they filmed lots of street people. But in some shots we see GLAY walking on a mountain. They're laughing together and having a great time. The place is very beautiful! 8. haru o aisuru hito GLAY does not appear in this video -_- We see a lot of nature scenes like slow motion of flowers blooming, day turns to night, ocean tides..etc.. even a blue rose! (Yoshiki???^^;) There are lots of city scenes of Japan too. ~end~ |
